Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Aww I am so sorry to hear that @KittyFantastica . Hoping a positive outcome for you. I didn't think it was going to get to me till now. I just hate the unknown.

Oh cool ok I'll see if I can get hold of some cheapies. The one I did is a morrisons test. The colour on the second line was definitely there within a couple of mins of doing the test but it's faded a bit now. I am going to wait and see what happens. Maybe my period is just late who knows as I had a nasty cold a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you to everyone for supporting my massive wobble yesterday! I did manage to talk myself into a more calm position and got a good night sleep. I did retest this morning - i wanted to know either way... three lovely little lines. Still little but

The tests have now gone away until the weekend when I will try and confirm with a digital.

I'm going to keep myself busy until then and - importantly- try not to get myself in that state that I did yesterday!

Holding your hand @ButterflySkies, so sorry I didn't properly see your post about your wobble yesterday!

We can be here in the same boat together. My lines look just the same. I've found mine are slightly darker with afternoon or evening urine, which is weird, but I'm going with it. The darkness of today's test is about as dark as my lines got when I had my chemical, but I've had undeniable progression this time at least. Last time the lines stayed the same all the way until they disappeared.

Here's my results from about half an hour ago. Third picture shows 11DPO on top and 14DPO (today) on the bottom.

Feeling more chilled today - the cramping is still here but its not as bad. I wouldnt really say I've got symptoms apart from the cramps and sore boobs. I had a good old cry last night after my Dd went to bed and hubby did a good job at getting me into a better headspace. So big deep breath and hoping to get to the weekend and do a digital!

Just an update, after 11 days of flashing smiley including yesterday, today I finally just got my solid static smiley (on CD24), and a t/c of exactly 1 on the Easy@Home opks. It feels almost like I've just done the tww just for ovulation, and I just hope DH can keep going three more days now and my LP is long enough...

For all those still hunting ovulation, just keep going! I was so close to giving up testing this month and resigned to the likelihood I'd not ovulated. Looks like it's just super late in my cycle.

And congrats to all the BFPs starting to appear!

Unfortunately AF has turned up early, so it just wasn't meant to be this month for me. It was our first time trying post mmc and hubby has done really well to keep me calm and positive still! Congratulations to those who have their BFPs and hope to see more from those still waiting 🤞

Morning ladies! Hope you’re all doing well! I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and unfortunately haven’t been very well over the last couple of days with headaches, diarrhoea and this morning a fever- my bbt was 38.20 this morning. Does anyone know if this means I’ll be out this month? - I’m worried it means the egg/ sperm will have boiled!

Aw @Linalou12. I was unwell after ovulation last month, although not seriously, and Google suggested that it made no difference, although I didn't concieve.

I got a positive OPK on Friday morning... then BBT says I ovulated on Friday, too. We did have sex so I'm hoping it works out 🥴 For some reason this month, Flo keeps telling me that this is what's happening if you're 4 days pregnant... which is hopefully a good glitch 😅

AF is due today for me, no sign yet which is odd as usually it's here the night before my apps prediction or first thing on the day of and at the very latest by lunch time.. I had a BFN on a cheapie this morning - not even a squinter.
I usually have cramps that are super painful & feel as if I want to bear down until the first bit of blood arrives if that makes any sense but I don't have that today, just slight cramping on one side which has pretty much died off now. There was a slight tinge of brown in my CM earlier as there was on Monday & yesterday so now I'm just completely confused/anxious as to what's actually going on. I'm torn between hope and devastation..

This is my first cycle tracking with Natural Cycles it says its algorithm predicts that my cycle will end on Sunday and therefore today is a good time to test?
I am only 8dpo and I wouldn’t expect my period until Tuesday or Wednesday. Don’t know what to think now…

@CoolSummer89 if its your first month tracking with natural cycles I would take it with a pinch of salt, it takes a few cycles to understand your data etc.

Interesting you got this message as mine only ever tells me to test 2 days after my predicted period start.

We’ve been trying to conceive for a year now. I came off Natural Cycles and stopped testing when I ovulated because I was becoming very unhealthy obsessed with it all.

I’m 28 and trying for my first. We plan a GP trip by April.

Thanks for sharing your chart @FullMoon1917. Yea not going to take it too literally but just wondered whether there was some temperature data they used or something. I have bought some cheap hsg tests. Absolutely no symptoms at all so not holding out hope but I think not testing might feel worse than testing.

i’m so sorry to hear @Jead95 that you have had a frustrating and anxious time! Hopefully the GP visit will either offer reassurance or solutions.

I’ve had the most horrendous month long sinus infection and fever thing and I managed to get pregnant (am now 6 weeks). So I don’t think illness will prevent 🙏🏻

9DPO today. My BBT is continuing to rise and feel a bit nauseous today (although this could be last night’s pizza). Glad that I am in the office so can’t obsess too much about it, but I can feel myself getting my hopes up, oops 🙃

How are you doing @ButterflySkies? Are you feeling ok?

I'm having a weird time of it. My FMU tests continue to get lighter and lighter while my SMU and afternoon/evening tests continue to get a tiny bit darker. It's very odd and I've never seen this before. I've trawled the internet trying to find answers and see lots of people have this happen, but can never seem to find out the outcome.

First picture is FMU at 7am top and SMU at 10am bottom. Second picture is a Boots test from yesterday evening and a One Step from lunchtime as they'd just arrived and I was curious. Third picture is a Clearblue from same 10am sample.

Anyone have any ideas about it?

@KittyFantastica im a big old bag of nerves! I've been kept busy this week as DD's had a bug - so ive basically left DH to that and done long days in the office to quarantine myself.

Got a nicer line this morning on an early clearblue (excuse the fancy dress on the floor in the background!), but other tests haven't progressed at all. Going to do a digital on Saturday morning and see what it says. I think il feel better when i get to the weekend am hopefully clear of AF!

If it helps, i looked back at pictures from when i was pregnant with DD and i didnt get a strong strong line until about six weeks and I've definitely heard of some people getting stronger lines later in the day, I say let's go with a line's a line and try and relax :) xx

currently 14dpo and AF was due today according to Premom. I was going to test with FMU tomorrow but had been holding a wee for a while and said why not.
Literally cried tears of joy, this is cycle 7 after a loss last June.
No major symptoms at all, I did notice I had slight cramps last night but very faint and nothing compared to when I was pregnant with DS.

I hope the BFP's keep coming and hoping to stick around and cheer those still yet to test.

@ButterflySkies I've been disappointed with the Clearblue, I really thought they would be darker. Mine have dried like evaps too.

Really interesting to hear about your lines with your DD though! It's hard to hope, but also really hard not to hope. I'm desperate to be happy and just let myself come to terms with being pregnant, but I'm terrified that I'll let myself relax and AF will arrive.

Agree with trying to relax a bit. Easier said than done though!

10dpo, had a slight BBT dip this morning. Took an HCG test this morning and it was negative. Still too early to completely say I’m out but I am not feeling as hopeful as I did yesterday.
Shouted at the cat as she miaowed for breakfast, so now I feel doubly awful 😓
