Anyone ttc in 2024 after loss?

Lost my perfect little baby at the end of October. I was 15 weeks, baby was gone since 13 weeks. Planning to start ttc again in January. I am devastated and finding it hard to cope. Also extremely nervous about being pregnant again. Yet the need to have a living baby in my arms, outweighs the crippling fear. This little baby was my first too.

@123456789ss so sorry for your loss. I've had 2 missed miscarriages, first took 2.5 years to conceive, second 6 months (with a different partner). Currently in cycle 6 of trying again since the most recent loss in July. It took me 4 1/2 weeks for my period to come back after surgery. X

Well I have no will power and caved and did an internet cheapy at 8dpo its was negative no surprise and I know it’s early but still feel absolutely rubbish and so sad. My last two pregnancies I got pregnant first month, I’m just hoping my misscarriage at 16 weeks hasn’t made it impossible for us

@Nic2908 sorry it's made you feel sad. Give it a few more days and see what transpires. I got a negative this morning too at 10dpo and that also made me feel very sad and that I'm probably out this month. Think that combined with pmt symptoms is a bad combo! I hate hate hate that fertility is on a clock for us. Just feel like I'm running out of time and getting to a point where I don't want to start again with it all. I'm so tired of it. Hopefully if AF arrives on weds the hormones will bugger off and I'll feel better!!

@Nic2908 please don't worry about your miscarriage harming your chances - there's been tons of research on it and it's been proven that one loss has no impact on getting pregnant again, and adds no more risk of miscarriage in your next pregnancy. Try to stay away from the tests until your period is due as it'll only make you feel worse multiple times xx

Well AF arrived. Emotional today but hoping I'll feel more positive soon. Good luck to all the other ladies still waiting

How long did it take for everyone's levels to go back to 0? First time in my life I've been sad to see a positive test still.

Hey @Hopingrae I'm doing ok, I should be ovulating over the next few days I can't use OPKs because I'm breastfeeding my toddler and they don't work. So hoping we are going to catch. I'll be starting the dreaded TWW from Wednesday.

so sorry to hear you have tested negative at 10 dpo, that's stilll early though, you're not out until AF appears 🤞🤞

Thank you. Just thought I'd check today as my levels had dropped massively in the two days between my blood tests I almost assumed that in another couple of days it would be back at zero. But I'll give it a week and hope the test comes back negative then. X

@Chaz693 so horrible to see positive tests when you're waiting for negative. Mine took about 5 weeks, was literally day or two before first AF started. First MMC only took a couple of weeks so found that hard. How many weeks post are you?

@Bey weds isn't too far away! That's when I'm expecting AF to arrive, I'm half a cycle behind you. Wish you so much luck with this cycle. I started spotting late morning today which is my usual lead in to period. At least that will stop me testing like a crazy person! It was kind of a relief, means I know where I stand this month. On to the next round!

I started miscarrying on Monday so it's not even been a week yet, I was only 6 weeks so I assumed it would go down quickly coz I was so early but I'm impatient to try again. I guess it's purely coz I now feel like I'm missing something. It was like this with my other miscarriages too. Just hate this feeling. I guess I'm just looking for something to look forward. X

Really struggling today as it was at my scan last Sunday at 3pm that we found out we'd had a missed miscarriage.
I keep thinking "this time last week" when we were happily oblivious to what was about to happen.
I just want time to move faster so we can TTC again 😔

Hi everyone - hope it’s ok for me to join. I’m 8DPO and convincing myself I am pregnant… again… the 2WW drives me insane every time, even when I tell myself I’m not allowed to get my hopes up. Have a 2yo DS conceived via IVF and miscarried on my second IVF pregnancy last summer.
I have unexplained infertility so have been trying naturally for a few months as I don’t think I can emotionally do another cycle of IVF, but this month I feel different. Very sore boobs, and a bit nauseous… maybe it’s in my head. Wondering when I can feasibly test?
Why is TTC such a rollercoaster for some of us?!

Anyone have any experience of spotting between periods after a loss? I had my first period after my miscarriage a couple of weeks ago, should be around ovulation now but I've noticed a bit of spotting last few days. Feeling really worried, is it a sign something could be wrong? We're really hoping to get pregnant this cycle so have been dtd every other day or so.
