Hi, I am meant to be 5dpo today which was confirmed by a positive opk and then a BBT increase. I have however done a random opk last night and then this morning and although they are not positive the line is quite dark for 5dpo?? Does anyone know what this means? I am so confused

@EK37 Is the line getting darker again, or is it still fading from the positive OPK?

@etaketak1991 tbh I have no idea because I stopped testing for ovulation once I got my static smiley and the temp rise so I don’t know what it was doing inbetween 🤦🏼‍♀️

@EK37 Hmm I'd guess maybe you had a high peak and your LH was just taking longer to come down? If you've had a BBT increase and a static smiley, then I'd say that's your correct ovulation date ☺️ It's too early for the test to be picking up any HCG I'm afraid!

@etaketak1991 i hope so! I don’t want to be ovulating again because I’m nearly halfway through the TWW 😂

@EK37 I often have a very slow decrease in LH so if you’re anything like me then it’ll be left over from your peak. Got my fingers crossed for you.

My BBT chart is very odd this month. I usually have quite a significant increase in temps but this month although it has increased it’s not as much as usual. I don’t know if it’s the Christmas period I have been sleeping in a lot longer that could cause it? I have attached this months and last months

@EK37 today has been difficult physically. I think I could be over the worst now though, I passed something significant earlier on, it wasn’t pleasant but I feel as though it could be most of it now.

This Month when I got my BFP I didn’t have a significant rise like I usually do. Fingers crossed it’s something positive for you.

the hospital said DH and I need to discuss wether we want to try again straight away or leave it. I think we’re just going to crack on, I can’t bare to have months that I haven’t tried.

BBT has jumped up massively to 36.75 today. Been a weird month!!

ah @Hotmalibu94 so nice that everyone knows now, 2nd trimester now isn’t it? 😊

I’m excited to have my booking appointment on Friday at 8 weeks ! I’ve been having a bit of nausea for the last week and half tho so not fun although can’t complain too much it’s just slightly but kinda always there for the most part but still rather not throw up! Been off my fizzy drinks completely which I guess makes it healthier so eh 😂

@etaketak1991 how are you? Your appointment is soon as well no?

@CatiaR yeah we are into the 2nd trimester now, 16 weeks tomorrow 🥰 found out today my friend is 5 weeks behind us so I'm really happy to have a friend in the same boat!

Only a few more days left now until we find out if we have been successful this month. Had a weird BBT chart this time round, it was really low and then shot up and has stayed up. I have heard this could be called a triphasic bbt graph but I am unsure and don’t want to get my hopes up!!

@Hotmalibu94 oh that’s very exciting to have your friend along! 16 weeks! Time flies

I don’t know when my scan will be yet I guess I’ll ask at the booking appointment as I want to book a flight after we do that to visit my family in Portugal and tell them in person 😊 DH needs to stay with the pup so I figured the fairest way would be me telling my parents in person and him telling his around the same time. Hopefully not making anyone feel left out!

@EK37 fingers crossed for you! My chart was a bit all over the place when we conceived so hard to tell!

I'm doing okay, thanks! My nausea lifted on Christmas day so I was actually able to eat food... I've been making up for it since 😂 My booking appointment is on Thursday (a little late at 9+4!) so hopefully will find out when my 12 week scan is then. We went for a private scan a few days ago and got to see the little bean measuring a few days ahead of where LMP puts me and with a heartbeat, which was lovely 🥰
