@Huriya hiya lovely! 20 weeks already! Time goes fast and a baby boy how exciting. Thank you only 5 and half weeks now so still feels unreal!

@Hotmalibu94 ah thats amazing!
Ive had extreme anxiety the last 2 days that something is going to happen. I haven’t had a dye stealer test yet. But I’m not sure if everyone gets those. I feel like I may have read somewhere that not everyone’s tests get super dark.
im just trying to relax as much as I can and go with it day by day.

@Ncl31 what tests are you using? I didn't get any dye stealers with my IC even the week before my scan. Some tests just don't go that dark. I had awful awful anxiety that something was going to happen. I just had to keep reminding myself that there was no reason to think there was an issue, and I was pregnant until proven otherwise. It helped me a little bit, but I didn't really settle until my scan. Hope the thought helps you a little though ❤️

ive also read this morning that they aren’t great at like progression anyway.
I’ve decided I need to stop testing And try to relax. I have 1 more weeks test which I might leave until next week to see that progress from 1-2 hopefully to 3+

it’s a weird anxiety though isn’t it

@Ncl31 then definitely don't worry! Most ICs don't really do line progression so well. Just enjoy the pregnancy as much as you can 💕 even those weeks tests can cause issues if they don't give you the week you expect so just be prepared they aren't always the most accurate.

@Hotmalibu94 yeah I fully get that too. Thank you. I tried to get to boots to get another of theirs but with it being Christmas it was just crazy busy.

i told my mum and dad on Friday - they were in total shock, given that they knew we were about to do the drug trial etc…
it seems too early to tell them but I had to because I had to tell people at work and I just didn’t feel it was fair. My brothers and sister in law will find out tomorrow.

@Ncl31 I had one step ICs and never got a dye stealer, despite getting a dye stealer on a regular boots test days before! Have fun telling your brother and sister in law tomorrow ❤️ How exciting!

I hope you’re all having a wonderful Christmas.

ive unfortunately started to bleed today. It was quite red but no clots or pain. I’ve rang emergency gynae and have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon, just hoping the bleeding is a touch of implantation spotting and it stops.

nothing but worry and anxiety.

I’ve read that it’s a common occurrence around this time and doesn’t necessarily mean miscarriage but I don’t feel hopeful. Just got to wait and see I guess.

I’ve stupidly POAS x3 this morning…. Of course they’re all positive still. The weeks indicator is still showing the same as last week though - which makes me suspicious.
my appointment is at 01:30 this afternoon

Thank you ladies, the bleeding is less this morning. It was quite red yesterday but only on wiping. This morning I had some brown to begin with and now it’s pale pink when wiping. I’m hoping it’s just been some normal bleeding at this stage. I’m lucky to have some very supportive people around me which is great.
I’ll update you all once I’ve had my appointment although I’m not sure I’ll find much out today, I’m assuming they’ll do my bloods and then recheck them in a few days.

Just a little update.

My HCG came back much lower than they would have liked so have said I’m probably having a miscarriage. I have to go back to early pregnancy on Thursday for repeat bloods and to discuss how to manage it whether I want medical/surgical management.

So I may not be around for a few days while I try to process everything.

Thank you ladies, I’m pleased we had told my parents so at least we have that support too. DH has been incredible, so so supportive.
Im also relieved the bleeding started just before we were about to tell the rest of the family, my nephew spotted the extra present under the tree and tried to get us to open it a few times before it “disappeared” but they don’t need to worry about me.
im praying for a miracle but I feel it’s unlikely as I’ve started with some mild cramping this evening, hopefully we can manage it conservatively and I don’t need any intervention.

Unfortunately we have our miscarriage confirmed today. we are absolutely devastated right now but hope that our time will come soon.
