@Huriya hiya lovely! 20 weeks already! Time goes fast and a baby boy how exciting. Thank you only 5 and half weeks now so still feels unreal!

@EK37 fingers crossed for you. Yes I used it once this past cycle and we were successful although not sure if it was due to it. Only used it on day of positive opk

Yes I have used it - with two children and this time .

@CatiaR @NLmum4 thank you!! I only used a small amount it was soo slippery which I guess is the whole idea of it 😂

@NLmum4 when you have used it in the past how long has it taken?

fingers crossed for you and that the preseed works. I’ve never used it but had thought about it if this cycle hadn’t worked. Anything is worth a try I guess.

@EK37 three pregnancies
Tried for two months without success then
First pregnancy don't work out but took 1 cycle after using pre seed
Second pregnancy - took 2 cycles
Third - took 1 cycle
Can't remember how many cycles trying this time maybe 3 but have not had best timings so have always been a bit out so not sure if that's why not as quick this time .
I would say pre seed must help

@NLmum4 thank you! This has given me hope!!! We have also been following the SMEP as the last few months I have been out of hitting ovulation by one day!

@NLmum4 its tiring and is a little bit forced to be honest but I have heard good things about it! You are meant to do it every other day starting from the 8th day of your cycle, start testing for ovulation from I think it’s the 10th day of your cycle and once you get a positive OPK you are meant to do 3 days in a row, skip a day and then try one more time. However I have said to my partner let’s try four days in a row and then skip a day! Poor guys gonna be exhausted 😂

@EK37 Yup, we did SMEP on our successful cycle! Bloody exhausting but at least it worked 😂 Best of luck for you 🤞

Had some excellent news today that I'm getting quite a significant pay rise 🎉 absolutely ideal timing with saving for mat leave/going on mat leave and it'll boost my back to work bonus too 🙌 I'm so pleased because I was put on a low wage due to lack of experience but they've recognised my work and fought for a raise for me without even having to ask 😁

@ginny93 i have yes.
it said 1-2 weeks, I’ve also had blood work done at hospital by a consultant colleague. He said to do it just to check. My HCG was in keeping with around 4 weeks. He said when he is covering the emergency clinic in January if he’s not busy he will ring me at work to pop down for an early scan, just to put me at ease. Also, his wife is a private sonographer and has offered to do extra scans for me for free.

@Ncl31 that's so lovely of them! How are you feeling?

I generally feel okay, my boobs have been a little sore still. Plus, come 3pm I’m ready for my bed.
other than that I’m great though. No really strong symptoms just yet, I almost want more symptoms to reassure me but quite happy plodding along without many too!

I’m 8dpo today, has anyone with a BFP noticed a burning sort of cramping sensation in their lower back this early?

@Roseberry22 I had no symptoms at all during tww until the 12dpo where I had sore boobs (again nothing out of the ordinary for me) so I was quite surprised to see a positive test.

@Roseberry22 in had nothing out of the ordinary either. Other than when I think back my CM didn’t dry up. But I wasn’t sure I’d even ovulated so I wasn’t paying attention to symptoms.

@CatiaR when is your booking appointment? I have mine on 17th Jan, the midwife rang me today

@Ncl31 my booking appointment is on the 5th of January at 8 weeks. I can’t wait! How you feeling? Any symptoms at all? 😊

Eeeeeek! That’s not long at all!
I have swollen gums and the roof of my mouth is sore. Other than that, just slight nausea, Brady tenderness and tiredness.

Hey @Ncl31 , sorry for the delayed reply! I'm doing well thanks :) nausea still kicking around at 14+3, every time I consider dropping my antisickness meds to once a day I suddenly wake up and start gagging 😂
We are telling my family this weekend, I'm so excited 🥰

@Ncl31 my boobs are extremely sore, need to pee all the time and I’m so tired. Not really felt sick yet but now and then feeling slightly nauseous.

@Hotmalibu94 thanks, I can’t wait. Aw hopefully you feel better without the meds soon but at least there’s something to help
