@Huriya hiya lovely! 20 weeks already! Time goes fast and a baby boy how exciting. Thank you only 5 and half weeks now so still feels unreal!

How is everyone? I've got a booking appointment on the 4th Jan, I'll be almost 10 weeks by then! Crossing my fingers for everyone else still in the TWW 🤞

lets hope it is a sticky little bean. My mind has been in total over drive today.
I work in the operating theatres so a high risk environment from all angles so I have to be risk assessed ASAP, it’s difficult because it means some people will find out very early. For this reason I feel I need to tell my parents too because I don’t want them not knowing when others do. So all afternoon DH and I have been thinking about how we can tell them on Christmas Day.

@Ncl31 I have my fingers and toes crossed for you! I'm the same at work, had to tell them all the day after I found out because they've taken me off anaesthetics and recoveries in our patients. Nurse clinics and reception duties for another 6 months 😁

I'm good here! Went to my work party last night and I thought I actually looked quite pregnant 😬 then I pointed it out to DH when I got home and he could see what I meant, all the drunk people were patting my belly 🤣🤣 not 100% convinced it's not just fat belly but oh well 🥲

@Ncl31 I told work much sooner than I wanted even though schools are generally low risk - just a lot of shingles going round around the staff annoyingly! What a lovely Christmas surprise for your parents ☺️

@Hotmalibu94 Will do! How far along are you now? I think I started showing with DD at about 16 weeks and had a proper bump at 20 weeks, but I'm aware it'll be earlier this time round 😂

Hi all. Should be ovulating the next few days now!! I have been doing clear blue and cheap opks, got my flashy smiley this morning and a slightly darker line on the cheap ones over the last few days, photos attached. I cannot seem to get the hang of the cheap ones tbh, the Premom app said it found my peak (it deffo didn’t as it was no where near as dark as tne control line) so I am just going to do it my self rather than log them! The lighter one is from around 12pm today and the darker one is 5pm ish so it’s deffo near 🤞

@etaketak1991 im 13+5! So I can't see how it would be bump already but it bloody looks like it 🤣 I can't wait til I get a proper bump, and feeling things 🥺

@EK37 I found my app always logged them wrong! I just think eyeballing them is easier. So many people said theyd scan the same test over and over and the number would come up different every time.

@Hotmalibu94 yeah I am just going to keep taking pictures on my phone and create my own log! I really hope this month is our month I am exhausted by it all tbh lol! Got pre seed this month as well that I am going to use as I have read some really good things on it!

@EK37 With the cheapies and the premom app, you've got to be careful it's not reading the shadow of the ridge of the test as the actual test line! So annoying, definitely easier to do it by eye 😂

@Hotmalibu94 Aw that does look like a little bump to me!! Enjoy it ❤️ I felt first kicks (like popcorn popping) at around 17 weeks so you might not have long to go! DH could feel them too. Can't wait for it this time round!!

@Hotmalibu94 how cute, it does look like a little bump already 😊 can’t wait for that either, it’s all new to me and exciting! 6 more weeks ish and we’ll get there. Honestly doesn’t even feel real at times and I keep glancing at my tests in my bedroom 😂

I don’t wish to feel sick but currently only got sore boobs, need to pee more often and a bit tired with the occasional stitch like feeling in my right side lower belly. I have only told a couple of work friends and a mutual friend with hubby but planning on telling work before my booking appointment (this is during work hours and would rather just have the paid time off really 😂) I do work for a baby and maternity company so nothing to worry about there 😊

@Hotmalibu94 my job involves a lot of patient positioning so as of this week I won’t be doing that any more. At least not by myself like I usually do.
Im just really scared to tempt fate and tell anyone at the moment. It’s a weird feeling. I haven’t attempted doing a digital test yet. I was going to wait until maybe Tuesday for that.

Oh definitely you need help with that @Ncl31

its tricky indeed having to let people know so early, and same here although my lines at first were quite strong already it felt extra nerve wracking to do a digital and I still waited some days to do it 😂

I have one left of digital weeks that probably will do later this week or beginning of next to hopefully see that 3+ but yeah don’t want to panick if it doesn’t as all seems ok for now

@Ncl31 just catching up and congratulations on your BFP, such wonderful news seeing them! It gives me hope it’ll by my turn soon enough 🤞🏼 sending you all the luck for the next 8 months!

stick with it, I honestly felt like it was never going to be my turn but people are right. It happens when you least expect it.
the research nurse is ringing me tomorrow about the drug trial I was going to be starting - I’m hoping that I won’t need it and this is a sticky little bean.

Took a digital this morning - I can finally start to believe it!!! Going to grab myself a weeks digital today to take tomorrow morning.
No real idea how many weeks I am.

I am now in my fertile week, used Preseed for the first time yesterday! And plan to use it every time we dtd!
