@Hotmalibu94 oh wow! Not long now, last stretch! Fingers crossed little miss get ready in position for you 😊

25 weeks on Friday so time is flying, got my midwife appointment next week and hoping we can hear the heartbeat 😊 but I do have a lm anterior placenta according to the 20 week scan so may make it harder to pick up. Starting to struggle to put my socks on lol 🤣

had a massive birthday party last week that was more like a wedding (I blame my Filipino born husband for this) that lasted so long! We got there to help set up at 2pm and only got home at 2am. I was knackered even tho I only sat and moved around the whole evening but I was so tired i could have fallen asleep even next to the blaring music next to us! And experienced my first braxton hicks there which was fun. But the leg cramps that came in the aftermath at nighttime were not fun at all! I screamed at my husband to help me pull my foot back cause i couldn’t reach it 🤣 got a sore calf for freaking 3 days after that.

and little bean now has plenty of room to move but likes to sit very low down on my bladder and most movements are felt there and my pelvic bone which is so fun, I need to pee every like 30 mins.

but it has been lovely 🥰

@Ncl31 fingers crossed ovulation is around the corner!

@Hollie18 ooh very exciting for you too! Hope you have a lovely break 😊

I’m planning similar on going on Mat leave. I booked my due date week off and planning to start actual leave on my due date which is a Friday.

but things still can change 😀

@Hollie18 @Hotmalibu94 not long now for you both!!!

@CatiaR ahh i can imagine how tired you was I am tired even thinking of that party 😂

@Ncl31 🤞🤞 you get your peak soon!!!

16 weeks now, we find out tomorrow what we are having which is very exciting! Starting to feel quite big now, I am only short (5ft) so I don’t think they have much room to move up so I’m just going to move out instead 😂

Hotmalibu94 · 29/04/2024 20:48

@Ncl31 fingers crossed ovulation happens soon!!!

@Hollie18 @CatiaR I originally had it booked that I would have 2 weeks annual leave from the beginning of June and then officially start my mat leave the day before my due date... However I am struggling in pain so I've brought it forward 😅 now I have 3 weeks annual leave end of may and start mat leave the 3rd June so 2 weeks before my due date. I just couldn't carry on much longer!

@Hollie18 hope you have a fab holiday lovely! Fingers crossed they are happy to sign you off to fly!

@CatiaR my midwife has been able to find little one's heartbeat since 16 weeks despite my anterior placenta so hopefully it'll be all ok for you to hear too 😁 can't believe how time has flown for us all! 25 weeks already! That's nuts!
Poor you with the Braxton hicks! I've not had any yet! Hopefully you don't have too many more. And the cramp! Oh that sounds awful 😭

@EK37 ahhhh that's so exciting! Please let us know what you're having 😊 do you have any guesses?

For any of us preggo ladies, I don't know if it's up anyone's street at all but I'm finding this course really helpful! Im finding there's a lot about the 'mindset' of giving birth, e.g. stress hormones directly impacting the hormones needed for birth, breathing techniques, essential oils etc. Thought I'd post it in case anyone found it helpful :) https://thebumptobabychapter.co.uk/the-birth-chapter-course/

@Hotmalibu94 yes I will let you know! We both think a girl but everyone else thinks a boy 😂

ooo okay I will have a look at that thanks! I’ve been doing pregnancy yoga which has been really helpful with learning new breathing exercises and positions that will help the baby get down the birth canal quicker (so they say anyway 😂) I am willing to try anything!!!

CatiaR · 29/04/2024 21:43

@EK37 how exciting you’ll find out tomorrow! I’m only 4’11 myself so I do feel pretty big although everyone says it’s just about right for this stage. Didn’t expect to be battling with my socks yet 🤣 and although my uterus is big enough bean loves to sit on my bladder it’s not even funny. I dread to think how much worse it will get, the only times a baby moves up is in the bath which they love. Most people think boy for us too but it will be a surprise. Based on old wives tales I guess boy as my belly is lower but craving sugary stuff which is girl I think so who knows 🤣

@Hotmalibu94 thank you for sharing that! Oh I see sorry you’re in pain but absolutely do take some extra time to unwind before baby comes!

hope we get to hear it! Baby is strong enough that I can feel plenty of movements regardless of anterior placenta.

only had the one braxton hicks (I think anyway!) but my belly went rock hard for a minute so I assume it was that. Nothing else so far.

My LH was 0.59 last night which was much higher than anytime before in this cycle - it looks really dark too.. back down to 0.55 this morning.

could I have peaked over night and missed it?
im going to test again when im home from work tonight

etaketak1991 · 30/04/2024 10:46

@Hotmalibu94 @Hollie18 Ah great news about your placentas moving up! Almost at the 37 week milestone too, how exciting 🥰

@CatiaR I'm not surprised you got Braxton hicks after all that effort! I'm impressed at your stamina 😂

@EK37 Good luck with your gender scan today, how exciting!!

@Ncl31 You might still peak later on today? If you're scanning using premium sometimes they read things funny too. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞

I'm 27 weeks tomorrow and feel huge 😂 My hips are starting to twinge a little now but I'm still pretty active for the time being. We've also settled on a name which really helps us bond with our little girl, I think 🥰

Looks like I will peak today. I hit 0.89 earlier this afternoon. Keeping my fingers crossed for a peak tonight. DH knows he needs to perform again

CatiaR · 30/04/2024 18:57

@etaketak1991 i was ready to fall asleep by the blaring speakers lol 😂 I had planned on leaving earlier until DH didn’t have a lift home from Swansea back home to Newport so I had to stay .. never again that was way too hard on me!

how lovely you settled on a name 😊 we have settled on a couple of options for each gender as we got a little surprise bean but haven’t decided on middle names yet.

I feel you on that! My hips and lower back sometimes are not fun and I’d love for bean not to sit in my bladder now that there’s more space but nope. I can’t imagine how much worse it will get considering I already have to pee like every 30 mins 🤔

@Ncl31 ooh sounds like peak is coming soon! Best of luck this cycle 😊

OP posts:
Hotmalibu94 · 30/04/2024 20:16

@etaketak1991 awww so lovely you have a name 😊 I've found it so nice to be able to refer to her by her name! Glad you're still managing to be active! My hips have been really bad since about your point so I'm basically a sloth now 🥲

@Ncl31 oh fingers crossed! Definitely need to BD just in case but I think it sounds like it's coming 😁🤞

@CatiaR oh god and the drive from Swansea to Newport isn't exactly short either 🥲 bless you! You must have been knackered! Naughty bean just likes playing bouncy castle on your bladder I guess 😂 I've been lucky that little lady has avoided my bladder mostly but I do often get little jabs right under my rib!
Also has anyone else had hiccups yet? Because that's just the cutest 😂
My god though some of the movements she's doing now. My whole belly was rippling after I had a wee in the middle of the night 😂 this girl is a party animal!

CatiaR · 30/04/2024 21:28

@Hotmalibu94 yup that’ll be it, bouncy castle!

although kicks in the ribs doesn’t sound fun at all

hiccups must be so cute 🥰 not felt that yet

@Ncl31 yayyyyyyy! Fingers crossed for you!

EK37 · 01/05/2024 12:46

@Ncl31 woohooo! 🤞🤞 for this month!

found out yesterday we are having a little baby girl 🩷 I also have an anterior placenta so even though she was wriggling away in there I probably won’t feel her for a while! But we heard her heartbeat for the first time which was so so lovely! I came home and did an order of some blankets and comforters for her!

Hotmalibu94 · 01/05/2024 12:51

@EK37 oh congratulations lovely! What amazing news 🥰♥️
Definitely helps to know your placenta is anterior in case you don't feel her til later but equally my little one could be felt at 19 weeks so not necessarily going to be late 😊

EK37 · 01/05/2024 12:57

@Hotmalibu94 ahh that’s good to know!! She hates having her photo taken she hides every time so it was a struggle 😂 this is the second sonographer who has told me she is a very wriggly baby so maybe it’s a better thing I can’t feel her as I think she will be beating me up from the inside 😂😂 but she’s happy and she’s healthy and all the organs are exactly where they should be so that’s all that matters!

CatiaR · 01/05/2024 14:47

@EK37 aww how lovely so many little girls! And another anterior placenta 😀

I did feel flutters quite early on about 17-18 weeks but at first it was so soft I was wondering if I was imagining it. By 20 weeks I already felt some big ones so just wait till she gets a little bigger and stronger and she’ll be kicking away 🤣

my bean likes to sit on my bladder so most movements is very low down in my pelvic area or bones! But if I’m having a bath they love it and move a bit higher up and stretch around. My bump looks and feels very weird when they push on one side only lol

OP posts:
etaketak1991 · 01/05/2024 17:26

@Ncl31 Yay!! That's a good strong line 😊

@EK37 Aw congrats! I had anterior placenta with my first and I felt her around 19 weeks ❤️

I was sat down doing GCSE speaking exams all day today and oh my god my tailbone is killing me! I'm thinking of bringing in my birth ball tomorrow 😂

Hotmalibu94 · 13/05/2024 16:26

@Ncl31 how are you getting on lovely? You must be 11/12 dpo?

And how is everyone else?!

I'm on maternity leave 🥲 I can't believe it! Technically the first 3 weeks are holiday but still, I won't be back at work until long after my little lady is here! ❤️

12DPO, BFN today.
I’ve convinced myself that I’m out this cycle.

etaketak1991 · 13/05/2024 18:01

@Hotmalibu94 Eek, exciting! Are you in full nesting mode yet? Enjoy your rest before baby gets here 😊 Hopefully the sun comes back out for some of it!

@Ncl31 Aw lovely, I'm sorry. I still have all my fingers crossed for you ❤️

I'm doing well, 28+5 today so just at the start of 3rd trimester. I have a glucose test on Thursday, has anyone done it before and have any tips? Last time was COVID so I got away with not having to do it 😂

Ncl31 · 13/05/2024 20:33

@Hotmalibu94 maternity leave man that sounds so exciting!

@etaketak1991 thank you, I’m back to being extremely hopeful as tonight my cervix is so high I can’t even feel it.

maybe tmi - but did anyone notice any difference in Cm?

etaketak1991 · 13/05/2024 20:36

@Ncl31 Yes! My BFP cycle was the only cycle I had creamy CM throughout the TWW. Are you tracking BBT?
