Hello!

I'm currently 2nd cycle TTC no2. I'll be 11dpo on the 25th Dec. Thought it would be nice to have a thread going for anyone testing over the holidays, for moral support and hopefully congratulations 🎉 all welcome to join x

@MerryMissie @NeeNaw12 yup!!! Exactly that, a sex schedule! Not like we were 'lax' in that department lol but they basically did an internal ultrasound and measured my follicles and uterine lining, which told them exactly where I was in my cycle (mine are irregular so at home ovulation tests were sometimes tricky!)

Got told to have sex day 10,12,14 and then three days later on 17 in case I missed ovulation and had a longer luteal phase.

Hard to believe we were just timing it wrong for 18 months, but hey....something obviously clicked!

Day 17! That's so intriguing. It's similar to sperm meets egg plan, but with a slightly bigger gap after predicted ovulation day? Anyway so glad it worked! My DS was first cycle, as was my second pregnancy though that ended in a loss, I'm on the 2nd cycle of the fresh attempt now. Hard to imagine having to keep going for 18 months...

Hello ! New here currently TTC no.1. It's our first proper month of trying instead of just seeing what happens. Due AF the end of the month. Finding the TTW harder now that its christmas as wanted a baby for so long, Hoping to finally get a positive.

@MerryMissie @NeeNaw12 thank you for you messages, I know I’m being totally delusional and I feel like I am being crazy. This has not happened to me before like this while ttc till now!

This evenings test again, I am looking at and know it’s totally blank but also get a sense there’s a line? Has anyone else had this and gone on to get bfp? Objectively I KNOW it’s not there, I feel literally insane!

I’m currently 7 dpo, I’m trying not to over think any symptoms but I definitely feel less crampy in my lower back. Going to test Christmas Eve as I’ll be 10dpo by then

Hi all :) am new on this thread , 3 months into trying for our second (1st took 2 years) am due for AF between 26th and 30th (am a bit irregular) keep wondering if I should test early! Had a strange stabbing pain low down to the left that lasted a few days, kept thinking it might be implantation and am getting my hopes up! X

@hol92 I've had quite a lot of pains over last couple days but had my bfp so might be worth checking. Initially felt sort of like I was bruised in my lower right abdomen then yesterday felt like bad period cramps. I'm 10dpo and lines are getting darker.

Long time lurker driving myself mad. Had painful breasts all week (never a PMS symptom for me) feeling sick, slight cramping and two days late for AF - tested this morning an BFN 😩 what is happening ha. Did I test too early or am I out do you think?

AF has just arrived it always hits so hard when you really convinced yourself and plan in your head how you will tell your other half over Christmas :( glad I didn't test early now though and see the dreaded negative ! Was originally going to drive tonight on a meal out with my husband but think we will get the train now and drink, good luck to everyone and congratulations on everyone getting there positives :) x

Does this look like a faint positive or just Evap lines?

Am 12dpo. AF was due today (3 days later than my last few cycles)
top test taken last night and bottom this morning.

Urgh @Swift1602 you do see late BFPs on here so you never know... What a way to mess with your head though.

@Christie94 yeah those lines are definitely there aren't they? They look a bit grey, any colour in real life? What brand is that? I don't recognise it.

I crumbled at 8dpo and did the thing I told myself I wouldn't - took a test. Then spent ages faffing round with it, opening the case, photographing...there's something there but god knows it's probably another evap to send myself mental over. It's a Morrisons cheap early test. Off to Google evaps on Morrisons tests now haha.

They are Tesco own brand that my partner picked up for me while I was at work yesterday. They are pinkish IRL but the camera is having a hard time picking it up.

I definitely see something on yours!

@NeeNaw12 does it have colour in person? It's similar to how mine looked at 8dpo. I think if it's grey or white then it's likely evap or indent but if its pink then pretty suspicious. I was positive on a clearblue ultra early digital on a 9dpo afternoon sample so maybe get some of those if you're still getting a faint line tomorrow? Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks @GHJ it's hard to tell if it has colour. A very vague pinkish tinge maybe? But could be wishful thinking. My easy@home evaps last month were definitely pink! Which is crazy

I really hope so! I was diagnosed with PCOS in the last month and am hoping for a Christmas baby!

Just took another photo with flash instead to see if it showed up any better...

Hi @GHJ did you have lower back cramps or just lower front cramps? I’m 8dpo today and have sort of a burning sensation in my lower back but I’m not sure whether it’s just my body getting ready for AF 4 days early

@NeeNaw12 i can see something vvf on that test it is difficult to tell whether it’s an evap or the start of a positive though, fingers crossed for you

Couldn't wait till morning. Got my partner to get me some better tests. Superdrug early detection ones....I still don't think it's real! 🙈
