Thought we could start a new chat for everyone who could potentially get their bfp in December or try again

@Mama09876 just saw your reply!! Im not doing the temp thing if thats what that stands for 🫣 - i can just about grasp the ovulation tests lol. Technically this is my first month trying - last month i missed ovulation but I didnt even know my cycle length so thought I had a chance. To be honest, everytime I have been pregnant its happened straight away and I have been very lucky so im hoping if I catch ovulation timing correct i might be in with a chance this month 🤞🏼 im easy either way though - I dont want to start obsessing over it, I know thats easier said!!

OK so cd 12 here and my discharge is getting more like ewcm and I have some minor cramps so I think I'm starting to ovulate 😊

@H938 sorry yeah I meant the temping. I think it’s good to do either temp or OPK or both for some people. Only cause I’ve read so many posts on here where the apps say it’s your fertile window but ladies may have missed ovulation cause they’ve ovulate earlier or later.
those LH lines look good though! I recon do another tonight or this afternoon and tomorrow looks like your peak is near! I’d get down to DTD tonight!

Hit my peak a day later than expected and DP is away until Friday, hopefully we done enough and will dtd again on Friday. @H938 definitely time to start baby dancing.

Completely get not being able to baby dance every night, even I feel the pressure let alone DP so I think doing whatever works for you is absolutely the way to go!

@Willow89 is that what the test should look like at the highest? I saw online the highest chace of getting pregnant is day before you ovulate! So who knows, its a luck game isnt it! Hopefully you had some in there haha x

Yeah so my test line is darker than the control line so that's the surge. It's absolutely a game of luck.

My 1st DS is 13 and was an unplanned pregnancy so even though I'm very lucky I have him. I'm amazed at how I got pregnant without trying cause at the moment it seems very complicated 😂

@Willow89 I think exactly the same when I look in to how small the chances really are. X

Hope everyone's OK!
Had my appointment with the consultant at the pregnancy unit yesterday! I'm being referred to the recurring miscarriage clinic for tests, also getting tests for diabetes, blood sugars, etc.. getting referred also to a dietician & being put on a high dose of folic acid... I knew they'd mention my weight, but I had a gastric sleeve 2 years ago in Feb I lost 7.5 stone, it's slowly crept up again, but I was 27st when I carried my daughter.. So the Dr was really nice about it! My aim is to loss weight again anyway!
I got a smiley on my clearblue digital yesterday, but I then got an empty circle when double checking so think it was false. We are dtd anyway just incase 🤣🤣

and oh my goodness @Willow89 and @H938 i know the chances each month are so small! And each month goes by so slowly! My next fertile window is due to start around 30 Nov and my predicted ovulation date is 4 December - it feels sooo far away

@LuceNumberTwo glad you got some reassurance, hopefully you wont need the referral and you get your two lines this month!

My tests are still low but they look quite dark so who knows when Im going to ovulate 🫣 its a waiting game for sure!! The app says on Monday so I think we will try again this weekend but to be honest I cant do every day. I fall asleep as soon as I get in bed haha! X

@H938 I would keep testing twice a day, what cycle day are you on?

@Elg90 I am tentatively going to say that's a positive but I know clearblue can be unreliable so would get a pink dye if you can.

I done another test this morning and still positive. Not sure if someone more experienced with ovulation tests can tell me why? So a positive last night and this morning, when would that indicate ovulation? I'll post a pic of both.

@Willow89 my app says CD 9. Ill do another later. Im guessing mine needs to look like yours does now lol. I did read online that once they look positive you will ovulate in the next two days!? Who knows. Its actually alot to take in. My app says now til monday so im going to try dyd maybe friday and Sunday and see what happens. X

Oh i found my lovely ladies again! How is everyone?

Sorry for disappearing - for those on the November group, those evaps I was getting were actually a chemical. I got some strong positives but they’re fading, been to the doctors and had bloods. This week’s been pretty rough. Beating myself up about drinking at the weekend - although i tested before i did - and I was already spotting. Not my first and I suspect not my last but it hit me quite hard, it’s like my DD knows (impossible!) but she’s been v cuddly around my tummy.

This thread feels lucky though, huge congrats @Elg90

This is a wing it month for me with holiday. Looking forward to not putting too much thought into it and having a month off, if it happens it happens! Then il be ovulation testing next month so im watching for tips! Xx

Also just catching up on this - fully caught up now ladies :)

My biggest question is when do i actually ovulate… is it much earlier than I think I do based on when some of you do from the november group who’s cycle lengths looked like mine but AF sadly arrived. Maybe we should DTD a few times before we go… (and no, didnt bat an eye lid about any other topics, you’re in a safe space with us :)) x

Hi ladies AF arrived a few days ago so I'm rejoining this group. Bit of background if anyone is interested! I've been trying since April when I came off the pill. First few cycles were pretty normal 29 to 32 days thereabouts. Then had a cycle of 65 days with lots of discomfort throughout followed by a 60 day cycle. Although I'm disappointed this last cycle was negative one plus point is it finally seems to be getting back to a more normal cycle length at 30 days. I had scans because of my discomfort back along (around 3 weeks after the pain stopped as that was the earliest they could see me) but no pcos as far as they can tell. I naively thought this last cycle might have been the one, it was the first one I have seen a really obvious LH peak (stopped testing at 42 days the cycle before) and dtd quite a bit at the right sort of time. Anyone else around cd3 with me for this next cycle? Best wishes everyone:)
