Today is ovulation day and I'm heading into the dreaded TWW with hope!

A little thread for anyone else want the share just about absolutely anything to make this period go quicker (or seem that way) 💗💗👶🏼

I'm 2DPO predicted according to my app and looking for ways to stay calm 😅

I find this period so stressful!

I had my peak last night, and I'm pretty sure I ovulated this morning. (Pains and lots of EWCM afterwards)

We've only managed to DTD once successfully (last night) due to partners medication (struggles to finish). I'm hoping it was enough.

It’s the worst isn’t it! As much as I hate being on my period at least with a new cycle it’s a fresh start and there’s the disappointment but there’s also the hope that you can at least try again - I find this waiting game so much worse because I just get my hopes up and I tell myself I won’t test until my period is due but I always bloody cave!

I’m sure if you’ve got your ovulation timing right then it sounds like you’ve DTD at the right time 🤞 I’m so over scheduled sex!

I know I totally get it. Scheduled sex is dry. I just don't feel the passion when the pressure is there, especially in our circumstances. Then he feels terrible.

As you said, once period is over, Its like a breath of fresh air and a fresh start.

I'm a testaholic. It's a joke really. I've spend hundreds. Then get fuming after pissing on a stick that cost me £10 to get a BFN anyways

4DPO - still at least a week before it's worth taking a test - gonna try hard not to before then.

This is first cycle trying for 2nd child. DTD couple times leading up to Ovulation and once on Ovulation based on the apps and LH tests. Wish had done it day after but we were tired from travelling and caught a bug.

Anyways, fingers crossed for everyone

TTC number 2, this is our 3rd cycle. We fell pregnant in our first cycle but had an early miscarriage (6 weeks) at the end of September and didn't try in October.

I ovulated today according to BBT and had positives this morning on cheapy OPKs and a smiley this morning on clear blue ovulation test.

We DTD on Saturday, yesterday and today. Really hoping it's been enough!!

I'm sorry to hear about your MC. I hope you're okay.

It's stressful worrying about the logistics of TTC, isn't it! We've only managed to do it successfully once, probably around 6-8 hours before ovulation, so fingers crossed!

I'm currently 1DPO now, here we go!

I'm with you too. Supposedly 3dpo but had a dip in bbt this morning and now terrified I a out 😭 I wish this wasn't so stressful!

Also started with such sore nipples on Monday which makes no sense to me after ovulation.

@TrishyLou1111 I know it just takes away all spontaneity! It must be extra hard though because of your partner’s medication. Are you trying for your first?

Also ladies what’s your opinion on drinking during the TWW? I’m never sure how much to carry on life as normal or not eg with having hot baths and stuff. I’m not a huge drinker by any means but I’m going away with this weekend with a group of friends and they are quite a boozy bunch. I don’t want them all to assume I’m pregnant if I’m not drinking, but I’m also willing to try anything this month to help chances of successful implantation…

I've got 13 days before I can't test. I have no idea how I won't! Apparently common sense does not prevail during the TWW haha

I don't track BBT but I may next month if I don't catch this month. Its just another thing to be stressed about haha.

I have also has tingly nipples which is odd for me and I'm desperate not to symptom spot.

No, this will be baby number 5, haha. With the others, we just never actively tried, and now I want two under two, I feel the pressure makes it harder.

I would carry on as normal as possible. If you fell pregnant and had no idea until weeks later, then you'd continue as normal anyway. I understand it may be difficult, though, so maybe just have a couple of drinks, then drink water and pretend it's vodka, then role play being pissed so they have no idea, haha.

Thank you @TrishyLou1111 . We started trying in December 21, I had an ectopic pregnancy in June 22 that resulted in the loss of my left tube. Started trying again a few months later then had a chemical in September 23. I am desperately trying to stay positive and hope for the best. Baby dust to you too ❤️

It can be emotionally draining by the sounds of things.

I already have children (very grateful) and I'm only on my second cycle of TTC so I never feel like I have the right to moan and be impatient.

I just like doing this journey with you guys x

It has been really difficult and a wild rollercoaster of emotions. I also have a child already and like yourself, very grateful. She was conceived within 3 months of trying and at the time, I felt that was long. Little did I know how lucky we were . Baby dust to us ❤️

I'm in the waiting period too!
Not sure how many days after ovulation as I had a CP last month.
No idea when I ovulated either.
My app said I should start my p on the 16th but I feel like I'm starting now.
I have taken a test- I've become a serial test taker and it was negative. I took a few ovulation tests and some positive some negative :/ yesterday I had one positive and one negative and the same today!
I'm so confused right now.
Maybe late ovulation?
CP must have messed my hormones up big time :(
I'm also a fallopian tube down.
This month has driven me crazy :(

It can be really frustrating and stressful, can't it. Did you manage to DTD covering suspected ovulation? Or are you DTD to cover suspected ovulation now? Do you have a suspected DPO? by positive, do you mean a peak one? Or just a line?

I've tried to be relaxed this month. However, have tested twice daily for ovulation. The CBOPK gave me a flashing smiley on the morning CD14, and then a solid the wee after, so it is possible. I've also used the E@H sticks, and they're great (if not better) because you can see line progression. I seemed to have got the peak on CB but not on the sticks til a day and a half later.

I'm hoping we have done enough this month, too, but if not, then we move on to the next!

Hi, yeah I'm driving myself mad!
We did cover the days I normally would have ovulated plus the days that the app said I should plus the last few days to cover all! Although after my CP we weren't as active (normally v active throughout).
Done another ovulation test with morning pee and it was very dark! Darker then control line, gonna do another to see but it's confused me more!!
I pray I'm pregnant but this craziness is making me wish if I'm not, that my period starts asap so I can stop overthinking everything!

Hi ladies:) Hope yous don’t mind if I hop on this post also! I had my peak opk test yesterday (I think anyway) I’m new to opk testing. I’m on cycle number 9 ttc baby number 2. It happened as a suprise with DS as I was on the pill.

I'm on cycle 3 now (I think), and the TWW can be souk destroying, haha.

I'm also new to OPKs, but I managed to do it religiously to try and spot my fertile window. I always thought my peak days were around CD 9 or 10, and it turns out it's around CD 14/15. Like you, my others were surprises!

Have you managed to DTD much?

Some ladies do peak multiple times throughout the month, so it's always good to DTD when you do, just in case!

When is AF due again?

It’s definitely soul destroying isn’t it😭 suppose it helps that I’m working quite alot over the tww to keep my mind off it!
My opks have definitely got lighter since yesterday so I know that was my peak & have lots of ovulation pain ect..

we dtd on 6th and 8th(peak day) think we will again tonight and hopefully that will have us covered. Have you managed to get much in? :)
