Today is ovulation day and I'm heading into the dreaded TWW with hope!

A little thread for anyone else want the share just about absolutely anything to make this period go quicker (or seem that way) 💗💗👶🏼

I've done another this PM with a very faint positive. I used a normal test this morning instead of a sensitive and wasted that lovely FMU. I only realised afterwards, tested with an ultra early, and got an immediate faint positive, but I'm almost certain it would have been stronger had I dipped it in the first wee! Xx

@TrishyLou1111 I just tested with a test I found in the back of the bathroom drawer lol… it was a normal clear blue but definitely negative 😭 I’m going to go out and get early detection tomorrow & then test on Monday morning. Oh my goodness! Yes it definitely would have been darker if it was fmu, how exciting can’t wait to see how it progresses x

Hi @TrishyLou1111 thats really kind of you to offer but we have actually tried Preseed already - bought some a couple of months ago and have been trying on and off and used it this month! Guess you’re right that I’m not out til AF shows up but I think I probably have to accept the inevitable! That’s great about your tests this morning 😊 here’s hoping you see some nice line progression!

Took a clear blue early detection test and was a BFN again… wasn’t fmu tho so I’ll take another tomorrow with fmu and see how that goes🤞🏽😭 AF is due in 4 days🫣

I've done five clear blue ultra early detection and got 5 positives, faint but deffo pos!

I've just done a couple of ordinary red dye strips and a clear blue digi and all BFN. I don't know what to think. I'm 11DPO today.

What are the chances of all of the CB ones being evaps or faulty? They're all from different packs xx

@TrishyLou1111 I don’t think you would get so many Evaps or faulty tests! Hopefully your other tests are positive next time you test x

This is so stressful.

I've kind of told myself I'm not now to avoid disappointment. What a ride this is.

I think I’m out this month, took a clear blue early detection with fmu and was negative.. AF is due in 3 days and I have sore boobs, mild cramping and nausea so I think it’s on its way😭 have you tested again?

I tested again this morning with a didi and NOT PREGNANT and an IC. BFN.

@TrishyLou1111 maybe the other tests are not sensitive enough, I think if you where getting so many evaps or faulty tests on the clear blue it would be extremely bad luck..

hopefully your hcg rises and you get a positive on others soon!

I definitely think I’m out, I’m 11dpo today and due af on Thursday. I have no tests in the house, so I’m just going to wait until Thursday and see what happens then because it is so draining 😭

@happymum1001 the clear blue are not good for early detection, they’re just not. Also at only 11dpo it’s not worth the stress. Wait until Thursday if you can.

They're obviously dried up, but this can't just be a 'they're not' good situation, lol. I've ordered some FRER arriving today, and I'll test Wednesday now.

If these are dudd (which I've read very mixed reviews, some like some don't), then I will never use them again.

If it'd a case of bad luck, then I'll never use them again, and what a ploy! I've read such mixed reviews. I've attached pic above.

You're not out till AF rears up! It is draining. I agree and I won't be tracking after this month because it takes up too much brain function! Hope you're okay. Keep me updated with your tests xx

@TrishyLou1111 I can definitely see a line on the clear blue tests! Mine were white. Keep me updated on your FRER🤞🏽 will definitely keep u updated, I’m not sure if I’m going to test again until AF is due. I left my CB test on the side in the bathroom and looked at it after an hour and seen the slightest line nearly got my hopes up but it is definitely an evap, then checked the one from last night and it was the same 😭 I think I’ll order FRER on Amazon now x

I am awaiting my FRER now, but I've heard theure notorious for indents and whatnot!

If they were faint within the time window then yes positive.
i just know they are bad for giving negatives and not being that sensitive. The red dye tests are more reliable for early testing.

I've read so many different things about these tests, though, even with ladies that have the same result.

Yes, they came up in the time frame, but I just don't feel convinced after all of the findings. I don't understand why they're still on shop floors when they seem to be causing so many people to have literal heartbreak. Especially those that have been trying for months and years! X

@TrishyLou1111 I used FRER when I was pregnant with my son, it just happened to be the first test I seen on Amazon and ordered it. It was accurate for me but I didn’t test until a week after AF was due as I was on the pill🫣 I’ll attach a pic of last nights one and this mornings one now:) one of them is more faint than the other but I’m thinking definite evaps as they where outside time range x

Aw no:( so sorry.. hopefully we can all track together next month too as I think I’m out this cycle too. I took a test yesterday morning with FMU and it was negative, AF is due today and I’m 14dpo. I assume af will be here today or tomorrow x

Hi @TrishyLou1111 , so sorry to hear those tests were faulty, what an absolute shitter! Must have been horrible. I am currently 17dpo and still no af but also tested this morning and a bfn, so am feeling very confused. Just want my period to come now so I know when CD1 is so I can book my Hycosy - have zero pregnancy symptoms (but also weirdly zero period symptoms) so no idea what’s going on.

Hi, I am hoping to join, I am suspected 10/11DP although not confirmed as I have irregular cycles and don't temp. I am CD 54 (PCOS). I never have natural cycles and have had many transfers from IVF which have sadly ended with a MC or CP.

I did a test at lunchtime today suspecting it to be negative and to my surprise I thought something was catching my eye. I then left it for a little whilst on an online call for work and caught a glimpse of the line again. I retook a photo (pic 2, white background) and the line that I thought I could see was much more obvious. Now, I’m aware that the second pic is way out of the time limit to check the test but… I’m not sure if it’s just more obvious or if it’s an evap. It’s full thickness and not a slim line but I can’t work out colour as it’s too light.

Any thoughts?
