2ww second month ttc

Hi just wandered if anyone wanted to join me on my second 2ww...currently ttc ..have a 16 and 12 yesr old but have a new partner so trying for baby 3 ..he has a 9 year old so not his first...currently on 2nd month of trying ...

Just wandered if anyone is asell..
We're trying preeseed and having sex every other day

Hey! Tomorrow is 1dpo for me, second month trying since my last missed miscarriage (which took 6 months to conceive). Would love to have a 2ww buddy to help get through it 😊 no living children here, just a missed miscarriage with my ex and then the missed miscarriage in July x

I did a post today about ovulation as I wasn't sure if I'd done the BD at the right time and only had the one shot so I don't hold out much hope, I'm also 38 with PCOS so trying not to get my hopes up...

But I'm in it with you girlies, 2WW is on ❤️🤞

@LozDo let's settle in for the next couple of weeks! Haha how long have you been trying? You never know, it might be your lucky month x

I've not really been trying particularly but we haven't been using anything for 6 months, that said we haven't been tracking ovulation atall where this month I did.

I had ov pain for 2 days then a positive opk yesterday, did the BD last night, another positive opk today so I'm just hoping this was the right timing to give us the best chance.

Have you been monitoring your cycles closely? X

My Doctor has been incredible, very supportive and positive, especially as my body has done it before

@LozDo that's cool - how did you find it tracking? Hope it wasn't stressful for you.

Yeah we have to track as we do home artificial insemination as my other half has issues finishing, so it's the only way we can make sure he produces at the right time! The nice side to it being more clinical is that sex remains for intimacy, every cloud and all that!

@moosey89 Yes that is a silver lining for you, I had a long time trying with my ex husband until I eventually got pregnant, and it made sex a real clinical experience I found,I really missed the real passion and it affected our relationship for me, so it's great you can separate the two when really trying to conceive.

No I haven't found tracking stressful as I know my age and issues so I made my peace with it being a definite maybe in terms of chances, I'm going to stay calm and what is meant will be.

That said the 2ww is still a killer as you just never know! I was told by doctors I'd never have a baby, then I got pregnant the following month last time so you just never know ☺️

It’s our 2nd month TTC baby number 1 and I ‘think’ i’m in my TWW. I say think as my FLO app says I’ve had my fertile window, but I’ve been using strip tests to test for ovulation and it’s been negative (although super hard to read- which is why I’ve changed to digital tests). Hopefully, we have a good chance when we BD in that predicted fertile window or I’ll ovulate still (currently CD18). Trying not to stress about it, but i was terrible that first month of trying during the TWW. I hope everyone is okay and it’s not too difficult this wait! :)

@LozDo totally understand, I was there with my ex too, eventually got pregnant but miscarried.

Glad you find it not stressful 🙂 it's such a useful tool to have. I've accepted my journey isn't an easy or quick one, but similarly the 2ww gets me every time, even though I know realistically it will take a while, if we even can get/stay pregnant naturally! Not as simple as we were taught at school, that's for sure!x

@MissEmily5 welcome to the TWW sounds like we are all in it together!

I'm in a similar situation to you, but getting stressed about it is not our friend, best to stay calm and let be what will be ☺️
@moosey89 I'm so sorry you have had those experiences in the past. I have too with having PCOS, I have low progesterone so a short luteal phase I think, so success long term can be a challenge, but I truly believe what is intended for this world will be, and all we can do is give things the opportunity to happen, but so much is beyond our control that we must just help each other to stay calm.

So glad for forums like this to share these things, it's tough keeping it all inside day to day isn't it x

Hi ladies can I please join I'm 1dpo currently trying to conceive baby No2 this Is our 2nd month trying after a miscarriage in June. We left it as was told to wait for 2 cycles before trying. The 2ww is definitely very hard- it's nice to have a place to go where everyone is in the wait together

Currently 2dpo myself its so agonising not testing or looking for symptoms last month j drove myself mad with it . I'm worried I'm getting old now being 37 ..feel times not on my side in terms of conceiving..I no I have 2 but that was 12 years ago since I was pregnSoant

. So that worries me

Hi welcome...yeah the flo app for me has been wring a few times too saying I was due to ovulate and ot was a few days later that's why I feel I missed it last month ..its def very stressful the 2ww ..ya sposed to not stress and yet that seems impossible lol

@Bex4567 I'm trying to keep busy - helpfully I'm off to Amsterdam this weekend with a friend for a few days! A very good way to hopefully forget all about things for a bit 😁

@Bex4567 doing ok, so much cramping since 2 days before ovulation so that makes it hard for me to put it out of my mind! This is going to be slow going!

Yeah its hard isn't.. it atleast you can go away for a few days and it might pass the time for you..

Oh really...im trying to not symptom spot this month as I had loads last month and wasn't pregnant ...

What dpo are you now ? Are you going to wait to test or do one early

I think I'll wait @Bex4567 as I've done this before, had cramps right from ovulation till I got my period, I've read faint lines evap lines, been convinced I have symptoms. I just have odd hormones some months that cause cramps so for me that's not a symptom atall.

Nope, will have to be patient and wait till at least 10 dpo... currently 2dpo so definitely too early for any symptoms. 🤞 for us all

I've been that crazy symptom guessing and testing way to early 🙈 last month I hung it out better than I did prior to mc this month I hope to do the same but sometimes it's just so hard to resist peeing on a stick 😂
I think I'm the same I'd wait till at least 10 dpo.
