LOL BB Might try that! LOL

It is so annoting, the road that goes up the school is about 50m long, it is tiny, it is on a 'T' junction with our road, and the school have always asked people to park on our road instead of creating the havoc they do on this tiny road, that is just swarming with kids come home time.

Anyway, not taking over this thread...

I am starving not had any breakfast yet.... shall I be good (cornflakes ) or bad (chocolate I'm allowed, I have my period LOL)

Morning all, I'm a gibbering wreck today, DD1 started preschool this morning . She seemed so small compared to the other children and looked so lost, I gave her kiss, said goodbye and hurried away before I saw if she looked sad

Now I don't know what to do with myself, I still have DD2 here but the house feels so empty and quiet................

DH and I wrote out the list of favours this morning, I have 3 months to do 29 things! There are plenty of repeats though, he doesn't have that good an imagination!

MoosMa · 05/03/2008 10:34

Just read your other thread NJ, for you, BMLB's suggestion sounds good to me!

Yay Heron!

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 10:57

Ooooooh yes, so sorry hooorrrrahhhhhhhhhh for Heron

Awww Moosma, how long is she there for? LOL at list of favours, gonna be some serious from you then?!!!

OP posts:
calsworld · 05/03/2008 11:26

Moosma, that sounds pants. Sorry you are missing her - maybe this is a good opportunity to give DD2 some extra special one on one time like you would have been able to give DD1 before DD2 arrived? That's how my sister coped with it.

I'm missing my little boy today. Feel rotten for sending him to nursery, even though he likes it there. I phoned the nursery a little while ago and he's fine and having a nap.

Wish I was well so that I could have had a sneaky day signed off work and played with him but I just can't manage it.

NJ - grrrr for you. I'm not surprised you're cross, I would be fuming too. Can you start a campaign for parking tickets or something?

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 11:35

There have been several 'campaigns' started and dropped after no one cares enough to either do anything, or see anything through.

They started one at the beginning of the school year about parking around the corner (on a pub carpark), there would be a couple of teachers there already, and the parents could drop kids with the teachers and the teachers would walk the kids round in time for the bell, not one person did it, teachers waited for 2 weeks and never brought one single child round.

You've not had a good run lately have you? Just think though, all of this will seem so insignificant when you get that BFP

OP posts:
calsworld · 05/03/2008 11:37

I know, I'm looking forward to it

Think I might try and have a snooze...

Catch you later,
x

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 11:39

Good idea! Have a nice day xx

OP posts:
MoosMa · 05/03/2008 11:43

I keep wanting to ring and see how she's doing but I know she's ok or they would've phoned me. I'm having a nice time with DD2 though

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 11:48

Make the most of it, it won't be that long till DD2 is going!

OP posts:
BeMyLilBaby · 05/03/2008 12:01

hi all aww moosma, it must be hard letting go, im sure she'l love it tho!

NJ the school near us has similar problems, although the area which we live in is a bit rough so it doesnt seem even the teachers are brave enough to take a stand!! x

Teuch · 05/03/2008 12:22

OMG!!!!

There is a thread actually asking if I was serious when I made the smelly-farts = pg comment...

Arrrrgh...now people will ignore all of my well-considered and timely advice

I blame NJ...

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 12:25

LMAO, off to find thread....

So I can tell them you were serious!!!

Starshinetiger · 05/03/2008 12:46

As usual, you have all been busy chatters this morning. 6yo was collected by police from DH's work last night, so all was safe and well (but police did say mother had "passed out" on the sofa) - hopefully all is safe and well at home for the LO.

Cal, sorry you're still feeling unwell.
Moosma - hope your day is getting better as DD's home time approaches.
Nat at ignorant driver!! I would have been fuming too. Hope the situation does improve.

Thanks for responses re. hotels - I did realise afterwards that people up north and the least likely to know about hotels up north as you won't need to use them!!

Fingers crossed for all those potential BFPs. I am so sad - I have just counted weeks/days til TTC. Am currently on CD3 and planning for May conception, so that makes it 9 weeks until OV - yay! Am half thinking well, it'll never happen first month, so may as well practise in April, which is only 5 weeks until OV - therein lies dangerous territory methinks! Although DH was quite shocked that I had my pregnancy and conception books as bedtime reading last night - his exact comment "Bring back the trashy novels and autobiographies" . He is very tired and a bit under the weather this week, so think he's nervous of thinking about DC2, but DS and I are off to my Mum's this weekend to give him some rest (he is working a few hours on Sat and Sun, but at least he'll get a rest in between and some decent sleep), so maybe that will help.
I am already looking at maternity clothes and thinking about if we will need to buy anything for a DC2, so I'm a lost cause really. But defo waiting until at least April and probably May still. Will update list with my details anyway...

Disenchanted · 05/03/2008 12:59

Hiya!

Can I ask a q?

Im on CD18 Today, OV'd CD14, after a really messed up cycle...

and just been to the loo and had some weal streaks of blood and a spot, do you think AF is comign already?? 4 days after OVing?

lardylumps · 05/03/2008 13:03

Good morning ladies. NJ for you what a bloody twit.

Teuch as the new Logistics expert I wonder if you could help me.

I breastfed dd1 and then went straight on to the pill when I finished. So I have no idea of my cycle or when I am likely to OV. I used to have AF on day 25 (4 days after stopping the pill for the 7 day break). But i know this is not a rel AF.

As the expert in these things when do you think i am most likely to OV??????

kayzisbroody · 05/03/2008 13:14

Hello all.

Nat, that is bloody awful.

Hey is this a symptom. While I was pg with ds I couldn't stand the smell of the chinese chicken thighs we cook at work and I normally love them. Today I got them out of the oven and nearly threw up everywhere. Supervisor is convinced I am pg again.

Tests have arrived!!!!

Hope everyone is ok!

Teuch · 05/03/2008 13:26

Disenchanted - implantation? Did I read on another thread you got your OPK +ve on Saturday? Have you done any HPT's??? Just to rule out OPK picking up HCG you understand

LL - any idea of your pre-pg cycle? I guess it will be CM-spotting for you this month to see how you go - or perhaps get some cheapy OPK's from ebay like I did, too?

Disenchanted · 05/03/2008 13:28

Hiya Teuch!

Yes I know Im not pregnant, had AF 2 weeks ago (well 18 days ago) and I did a test when they arrived yesterday (lol! - addicted moi?!)

I did get a + OPK on saturday,

do you really think it could be implantation?

I thought that happened when AF is due?

Im not due for 10 days still.

Teuch · 05/03/2008 13:29

I really am no expert...but everyone is different...

The journey down to the egg, then down the fallopian tube can take a week to 10 days, but I'm sure it must be shorter for some!

Or...you may have ovulated on, say, Friday but still have high levels of LH in urine?

You do have a random cycle!!
