hmm...weird OV-type pain at the moment!! Maybe I always get pains like this butonly really notice when looking out for OV/PG symptoms

Night all!

Starshinetiger · 04/03/2008 22:40

I just can't keep up with you lot. GJ - my halo is still there at the mo, but I must admit that I saw one of our Consultants at work today, who I haven't seen in several months and she is 6 months pregnant - my first thought "I want to be pregnant"!!!
Now on CD2, so just this cycle and one more then we are going for it. Cue lots of practising this month and next and real need for me to lose weight.
Mind you, don't know how I'm going to cope with the hormones - DH just rang from work to say he's going to be late. He manages a sports centre and he's got a 6yo there, who hasn't been collected from his club, which finished at 7.30pm!!! ! Police have ended up getting involved, but they have traced the Mum - she fell asleep on her sofa apparently !! He says lo is an absolute star, but still ! Made me well up just thinking about it and before DS I wasn't an emotional person - will DC2 make me even more so?!
Popcorn, sorry to hear about you and your sis.
Kayz and Cal, sorry about BFNs.
Right, should be in bed reading up on conception and fertility [hmmm] - last 4 months have been 24 days, 29 days, 24 days and 29 days, so at least some pattern, but I need to know when I'm OV... Wasn't this complicated 1st time round, but now I just want it to happen straight away in May.
'Nother long post from me.. Sorry , expect you're all in bed anyway, g'night!

kayzisbroody · 05/03/2008 06:23

Morning all,

Tiger, thats awful. I can't believe anyone could fall asleep when they are meant to be picking up their lo.

Dh did lock my HPT's away and I really want to test and he won't let me have me have it.
Which is good I suppose.

I hope I don't need to test on Saturday as we have to get up at 4 to get ready to go to the NEC.

Have good days all and I'll be on at lunchtime.

calsworld · 05/03/2008 07:54

Morning. Still poorly this morning but DS is better so DH has taken him to nursery so I can get some proper rest. Have had to de-camp to the bedroom with laptop so that dash to loo isn't too far .

I can believe someone fell asleep - I'm always ready to sleep and I've only got one! However, if she was that tired perhaps she should have thought about setting an alarm or something. Bless her, she probably thought she was just going to have five mins rest. Poor LO, he must have felt awful - good job your DH was there for him, could have been a lot worse otherwise.

Diege, don't think I'd ever be able to get my DH to wee on a stick, he'd be too worried about me telling all our mates!!

GJ, thanks for meal suggestions - they seem really obvious now you've said them! I had j pot and salad last night and I'll be having a slice of toast in a minute. Lunch will be another j pot I guess then onto pasta for tea. I've never had an upset tummy go on for so long before - do you think it will help me lose weight?

Well, AF was due last Thursday and STILL no sign of it...is it possible to just not have one?

BeMyLilBaby · 05/03/2008 08:09

morning all!!

cals firstly hi!! and secondly poor you that sounds pants, in regards to AF i missed a few but thats cos of coil, last months canme back with a friggin vengenance too!! ye---ouch!!

star i think what you said bout DC's making you emotional must be true, i've become more emotional since ive been thinkin of it, but i reckon i'l get worse once ive had LO!!

as for vits, im takin asda's version of pregnacare (cos im tight) which contains folic acid, cod liver oilm capsules, and cranberry extract too....

im actually kinda excited and nervous to think that i could be ttc in like 3 weeks
hope you all had nice weekends xx

BeMyLilBaby · 05/03/2008 08:10

meant evenings...oh my brain!

ohjoy · 05/03/2008 08:26

Good Morning Everybody, nice new thread! i have not been on for a couple of days and i couldnt find our old thread and i was starting to panic and then i saw the new one!

Anyway, DH and I have decided not to wait for the scan and just go ahead and TTC. so there, we were going to wait till may.

I am just thrilled to finally started ttc

I am only on Dy8 of my cycle tho, so definitely not fertile time, but there is no harm in practising eh?

also using the clearblue fertility monitor!
i hope to get the high fertility sign on the monitor in 5 days time.

if i do get pg, it will be a christmas baby...hmmm, not sure about it but i will still be very happy.

Teuch · 05/03/2008 08:49

hurrah! another cycle buddy

Late March's 2 week wait is going to be UNBEARABLE!!!

So...we have Kay, Cal and Christobel waiting now, taking us through to our 'active' periods then 2ww...LG&T is somewhere just behind that with her mahoosive cycle, then BMLB will be kicking off at the end of the month-ish and probably some I have missed...

IT IS ALL KICKING OFF !!!!

(Lemmings, the lots of us...)

Teuch · 05/03/2008 08:50

Turning into a grown-up TTC thread!

calsworld · 05/03/2008 08:51

With all the reading on the net that I've been doing, I think I'm coming to the conclusion that the mid-cycle bleed I had was too late for ovulation bleed but could be non-ovulation bleed. Which would also explain AF's no show.

I have been quite poorly which might explain not having a period but seems a bit surreal at the same time. Maybe doc will shed some light tomorrow.

Ohjoy - that's cool! Its all so exciting at the beginning isn't it - lets hope that it stays that way and we catch quickly!

Think we need to update stats - again...

Teuch, how on earth do you manage to map cycles like that - I can't work mine out...maybe you could help?

Last CD1 was Feb 1st, had a small bleed at CD19, nothing since - where am I? what am I doing? If we assume I'm not pregnant and didn't ov, when would next normal ov be if old cycles continued on my standard 28 day cycle?

Playingthewaitinggame · 05/03/2008 09:11

Morning,

I have been chortling into my computer this morning catching up with you lot!

Sorry to hear you have been so poorly Cal. My cycle tend to disappear when I am ill so I wouldn't worry if its gone slightly mad recently. Difficult to know what day your on, it all depends on whether you think you had a proper period on CD19. If you did then that becomes CD1, if not then you are on CD34 (I think).

Teuch · 05/03/2008 09:15

Hey Cal - you on CD34 if you ignore the small bleed or assume it was OV. (was it you who took the pill by accident? I forget and can't be bothered to search thread ).

Or if you treat small bleed as AF, you are on CD16 ( I think).

Either way, you should get either a BFP or AF within 12 days.

Worth remembering though that there are other things that can cause breakthrough bleeding and if no AF or BFP within the 2 weeks, then follow up with Doc!

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 09:16

Morning all ( of all your , I farking hate periods....)

Cal, how is your belly this morning? Fingers crossed you'll get it all worked out, and get your BFP sooner rather than later

I am absolutely livid, but am going to start another thread, don't want to take over this one!

And yes having children does make you more emotional, especially anything to do with children....

Right I will return, but need to get this off my chest first!

Morning . OOh NJ you have me intriqued - hope it's not too serious. Are you OK?
Teuch, I have appointed you 'logistics expert' for the thread . Very impressed about your cycle tracking! NJ, you are the explosion-specialist .
Have to rush off in a few minutes to give a lecture on a topic I have very little knowledge of so looking forward to catching up later

Teuch · 05/03/2008 09:23

Oh, NJ...keeping an eye out!

Teuch · 05/03/2008 09:31

Ooooohhhh "Logistics", you say?

Always wondered what exactly logistics were...

Diege · 05/03/2008 09:37

Ooh yes, suits you very much Teuch!

NatalieJane · 05/03/2008 09:39

Here

LOL At specialists. I am not a specialist at the moment, I am getting out of practise LMAO it's only been 1 day!
