I'm currently sitting at my desk with stomach cramps - its coz my trousers are too tight. Doing weight watchers to shift the 7lbs i put on with the failed pregnancy and it sucks!!!

kay im sure youre pg and im a pices so meant to be quite psychic x

im on the wagon till i know about work so only 25 days!! x

Playingthewaitinggame · 04/03/2008 16:47

Geordie - I would personally want to supplement my diet with extra vits, just so I know I am getting everything I should. However, a general multi vit isn't suitable for ttc (I'm taking one now but not ttc for 6 months yet) mainly due to the fact that it contains vit A. Also pg vits may have slightly different amount of vits as they are designed to support you pg needs.

Diet, what diet . Maybe when I dust off bike and cycle to work I will loose a few pounds. Also once I start ttc and am off the booze I am sure that will help!

NatalieJane · 04/03/2008 17:23

Kay, sorry about BFN chick At least when you get your eBay tests you can do one a day without worrying about wasting money, and hopefully soon enough that line will appear.

Speaking of which, where is Cal today????

OK, washing has been on, have more or less sorted DS1's party (just need to actually commit and book it!) had both boys hair cuts, my hairdresser wasn't in so didn't get my fringe done, but that's OK, it can wait. Kitchen is still in the same mess it was in last night, but will clear it up as I am doing the boys tea (and making more mess!)

What else did I have to do?

My period hasn't seemed to come after all, probably TMI even for this thread ( Maybe not....!), but had a bit of brownish discharge this morning, but nothing else..... I was quite happy at my cycle getting a bit shorter as well! Bloody period, damned if they turn up, damned if they don't!

night playing and you NJ enjoy your dinners....

calsworld · 04/03/2008 19:22

Hi all, wow you've been busy, I've only been gone a few hours! Well, sorry, but I'm going to make up for it!

I had DS at home today as he was sick last night so nursery won't have him - we slept for two hours this morning and two hours this afternoon - I love cuddling up and going to sleep with him, he's so snuggly! He's 15 months and very cute!

He'll go back in to nursery tomorrow so I can continue getting better.... I have had the most pants three weeks ever.

First, I had really bad tonsillitis and was signed off for two weeks, Then, just as I was preparing to go back to work, the world went wonky - signed off for another week with Labyrinthitis - a viral inner ear infection which made me keep losing my balance and fall over.

Now, I've had the two bob bits since yesterday morning and can't take diareze coz we don't know if I'm pregnant or not - and there is still no sign of AF.

I did manage to do a test today but again it was BFN. It wasn't the first one of the day and I'm wondering if it would be squiffed because of the diarrhoea? I've been on the phone to NHS direct and they've said that it could continue for up to a week , drink lots of water and eat a bland diet full of carbohydrates, drink dioralyte stuff - which is YUK and if it gets painful see a doctor.

However, I already have a doctors appt on Thursday to review my blood test results and determine whether or not I'm fit to go back to work... .

Its just one thing after another, after another.

And I'm starving hungry and I've got to eat carbs without dairy.. , pasta without cheese? jacket spud without butter? somebody, anybody, inspire me please!!!

And the bloody dog has just farted .

Diege · 04/03/2008 19:54

oh Cal, that's the pits ...but you did make me laugh about the dog farting
As regards carbs but no diary, how about...baked spuds with baked beans? Pasta with stir-fried veg/chicken? Cous cous with err, veg/chicken... Er, that's it
My posh supplements still haven't arrived yet, so will have to slum it with the rest of you on pregnacare doncha know

Hello work was pants except for some bloke telling me I looking Blooming. Now surely thats a symptom!!

Cal, Im sorry you got another BFN. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh and

COME ON ARSENAL!!!!

MoosMa · 04/03/2008 20:52

Can you buy vit B by itself? I've heard it works wonders for MS but thought it had to be prescribed...

I'm going to get some folic acid when I go to Asda on Friday, trouble is I go with my mum so I'll have to sneak it past her, teehee!

kayzisbroody · 04/03/2008 21:20

I dont think I could possibly take anymore tablets. I feel like a walking pharmacey!

Dh just offered to do a HPT so he could show me that everyone gets a BFN at some point in their life.

Bless him!!

Diege · 04/03/2008 21:29

Moosma, yes you can but vit B by itself, but I think the dose for MS (0f B6) has to be worked out by GP/homeopath?? I remember investigating it when pregnant last time via the Blooming Awful website, but giving up because I was confused by variation in recommeded dose in Us compared to UK?? Would be very willing to try it next time though (I'll try anything!!)
GJ, the problem with the poshies for me is taking them 3 times a day. Plus you have to chnage to the next lot up when you're actually pregnant, though I'm bloomin well finishing the bottle for the price! If I have anything spare though I'll happily pass them on down through the thread list .
Off to bed now, as it's my 6am start tomorrow...Speak tomorrow, diege xxx

Diege · 04/03/2008 21:30

LOL Kay at dh!! Actaully dh's can be useful re: hpt if you get very faint lines. I've heard of women on mumsnet getting their dps to wee on a stick, and then being cheered by the fact that there faint line IS a line. There you go then, men have a use after all

Diege · 04/03/2008 21:31

their faint line [cringe]

Teuch · 04/03/2008 22:28

On the subject of rattling - I read on another thread about Vitamin E and wondered if anyone else knew much about it or was planning on taking it?

Seems to be a good all-rounder...

I#m takin my normal multivitamin, folic acid, echinacia (as I am fighting nasty cold ) and vitamin C. I rattle...

DH taking nothing, but then he does better than I do!

Teuch · 04/03/2008 22:29

eat better than I do!!!
