TTC for 18+ months and feeling low!

I'm fairly new at this forum and decided to join after TTC since the start of 2022
We discovered earlier this year that my DH morphology was low, although all other results were normal. He implemented life style changes straight away, and even went through a varicocele embolisation a few months ago, so we're waiting to see if that's helped.

Having gone through the rest of the year undergoing tests everything seems normal, so the NHS are not letting us even get on the IVF list until 2024. It's been such a long, physical and emotional journey and there seems to be no end in sight.

Anyone else going through similar things? I feel like I live life in 2 week cycles and it's so hard to try and not think about it all!!
Any tips?!

It wasn't just line eyes!!!!! (I have not slept at all too excited to test) 😅 and yes I didn't believe one brand or two brands, I needed 3 😂

Btw I found the boots early ones you have used good for testing just be aware I found they take a while to ‘load’ if you know what I mean so if you take any more wait for the full time. I panicked one day when it seemed lighter than previously but it was just compared to my one that had dried and was before the full time frame was up. xx

@Foreverhopeful92 ahh thanks for letting me know! I think where the lines are still faint I was okay with it taking a while for them to appear. Glad I know not to panic in a few days if it happens when I think it should be faster 😅
Only 10dpo today so I think the lines are looking alright but can't wait for them to be darker and come up faster!

@missmoosh those lines look very good to me! I didn’t test til 12dpo but they look the same if not darker than mine :)

I’m 11-13 DPO today and randomly started spotting pink/brown yesterday. I don’t think I’ve ever had this since before so really strange for me! Trying not to get my hopes up as I know the body can play tricks 😅

@kalixxx ooo could be implantation bleeding? If its not normal for younas well could be a good sign! Will you wait until you are due on to test?

@missmoosh tested this afternoon and got a BFN I know it’s still early days but was pretty gutted as I definitely had got my hopes up.

Still spotting today and AF is due anytime between tomorrow and Wednesday, I don’t track ovulation anymore and my cycles can vary by a few days so it’s hard to know 😭

How are you feeling, is it sinking in yet?

@kalixxx it's still early days if your not due on especially with an afternoon wee! Fingers crossed its not af just being mean. I had a similar thing last cycle and got my hopes up, so I know how rough it is!

Not yet, I keep staring at the tests! I think because I feel normal as well. Maybe once my period is actually late it will. Going to tell my mum on Monday, as she knew we were due to start ivf next week, and I don't want to outright lie to her.

I've started spotting this evening, think I'm 13dpo tomorrow, so not a good sign for me! 😞
Signing the nhs forms on Friday though, so hopefully we can get our nurse planning appointment in before Xmas with meds starting in Jan 🤞🤞

@Natty2 hey! So far I still don't feel pregnant lol! Got my booking appointment this Friday and early scan next Friday! Praying all is well, it's a terrifying time waiting!
Excellent to hear about your nurse planning appointment! So you should be ready to go for your next cycle do you think?

@Natty2 all good here. Not expecting to hear from the hospital for our IVF referral until the new year. Happy to just have a few more goes before then. Fertile window will be end of this week / next week then will just be chilling again till Christmas.

I've been v busy with work and ill with a cold so I'm just looking forward to some down time.

@LucyLoopyLu I forgot you must have had your hycosy by now? Did it all go ok? Sounds like a positive start to the new year.

I suspect we won't start until the January cycle with the Xmas hols, but will keep you posted as you hopefully won't be too far behind!

Glad to hear things are moving forward for everyone! I hope the new year brings some good news and appointments for those waiting to start the next stage.

As an update from me I had my 12 week scan today! I ovulated late so a little behind 12 weeks but dates line up with what I worked out from tracking so all good and no concerns so far ❤️

Still feels very surreal but feeling so grateful for this experience so far (even the constant nausea!).

@Natty2 hi, yes thanks the hyfosy was all fine. Could see both tubes although it took a while. Officially unexplained infertility and our referral for the IVF clinic is all going through now.
Hopefully the hyfosy might give us a bit of a boost 🤞

Amazon really knocking it out of the park with this one... 😩

@Foreverhopeful92 so pleased to hear that, and can't believe you are at 12 weeks! So exciting

We had our appointment yesterday. If my cd1 is delayed by 2 days this month we could start in just over a week 😳 but 1, that rarely happens with my cycle 😂 and 2. I think we're best to get the Christmas period out of the way and then start with no stress in the new year. My next cycle will only be about 5 weeks away so not long to go!

@Natty2 oooo! Imagine if you start in like a week! Your period might be delayed through stress of it? Why does it need to be delayed by 2 days for you to start?
Although if you want to start next cycle none of that matters 😂😂

Starting to get a bit more nausea and sore boobs now, booking appointment is tomorrow and early scan next Friday. Time is not moving, it's going so slow haha!

@missmoosh so they said cd 1 needs to be 18th December, and I'm due on 16th
We were tempted but then realistically, I have my family over for Xmas and away for new years with friends so it might be too stressful. Plus I need room in the fridge for the injections 😂😂
