TTC for 18+ months and feeling low!

I'm fairly new at this forum and decided to join after TTC since the start of 2022
We discovered earlier this year that my DH morphology was low, although all other results were normal. He implemented life style changes straight away, and even went through a varicocele embolisation a few months ago, so we're waiting to see if that's helped.

Having gone through the rest of the year undergoing tests everything seems normal, so the NHS are not letting us even get on the IVF list until 2024. It's been such a long, physical and emotional journey and there seems to be no end in sight.

Anyone else going through similar things? I feel like I live life in 2 week cycles and it's so hard to try and not think about it all!!
Any tips?!

I think the way my dates fall we probably will start in jan 🤞🤞

@Natty2 yeah I finally have so ewcm, so I'm not far off but the waiting is torture lol. If I'm like this now god knows what I'm going to be like in the tww after transfer!

So exciting, so not far behind me at all then! I'm hoping my nhs referral will get sent off over the next week or so, just in case this round doesn't work out!

I've just spoken to our private clinic, they've said we can fill in our pre treatment forms whilst we wait for the nhs signing.
They've said I could start on my next day 1... but my day 1 is the day we sign the forms!! Now I'm hoping for a irregular cycle 😂😂
Otherwise next cycle falls on Christmas
Either way, exciting to thing we can start in a few months, so I can only imagine how you're feeling now!

@Natty2 oh excellent it's so weird how it takes so long to get to the point and then suddenly it's like all systems go and it moves so quickly! Really hoping for first round success for both of us!

Medication arrived, even though I knew there would be a lot, its thrown me seeing how much is there!

@missmoosh I can imagine it's quite overwhelming! We did our pre- treatment forms this week and even all that info felt heavy! Just things you wouldn't normally even need to consider for a natural pregnancy

I weirdly think I've ovulated on cd12 this month which is very unlike me.. I only started taking opks yesterday as I normally ovulate cd 15-17 but my bbt chart seems odd..?

@Natty2 yeah I think it's the underlying thought of this isn't how I imagined making a baby!
Oh yeah your bbt has defo risen! I have odd cycles where I ovulate on CD 12, so it's defo possible! I still haven't had a temp rise despite my positive opk the other day, so I may not be the best person to ask about bbt though 😂😂😂

Had my bbt spike today, not sure it ovulation was yesterday or day before. But officially back in tww, last one before first round of ivf!

@missmoosh must be such a surreal feeling! I said to DH that next month will feel weird to try for the last time. (Even though it won't work!) We definitely missed the boat on my early ovulation this month 😅
Keep us posted when you start taking your meds. My sister in law recommended flax seeds or lots of fibre as the hormones mess up with your digestion 😵‍💫

@Natty2 yeah it defo is! I think in the back of my head I'm worried my anxiety is gonna delay my period, and I will miss the Christmas cut off still though! 😂

Oh no did you not get any in before ovulation??

I have read that it can cause issues so hopefully I can avoid that! Thanks for the tips!

@Natty2 how are you doing?
Due to start IVF next week, so in order to try and stop my AF showing up fashionably late, decided to test early to let my mind know it's negative and AF can arrive.
9dpo....but done two tests, both came up with vvfl within time frame....very cautious but I think this might be a bfp??

@missmoosh omg, yes I see the line!!!! This is amazing!! How are you feeling?!

@Natty2 it took most of the time to appear, so I'm just hoping tomorrow it will be stronger! If it's still there next week will contact GP.
I honestly just feel tired, actually took a couple days off as annual leave, as I just felt so bleh. (I suffer with Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue so this is normal for me 😂) but i genuinely feel no different than normal. Like at all, even cried last night to DH, that my boobs were deflating which meant I was for sure out!

@missmoosh I want to give a tentative congratulations and keeping my fingers crossed this gets darker for you! I've heard this is so common that people end up getting pregnant naturally right before ivf!!

My bbt had a proper dip a few days ago so I've been wondering if that was an implantation dip but I just know I'll start on my usual 13dpo!

@Natty2 thank you! Terrified to get my hopes up but they are up now anyway, so just going to try and enjoy today knowing that as it stands I am. If that changes nothing I can do to stop it right now. Yeah me too, must be the release of stress or something.

What dpo are you now?? I so hope this is both of our cycles, that would be amazing!

@Foreverhopeful92 thank you! Tests have dried and they are defo pink lines! Going to get some more tests this afternoon and try to hold out until morning to test again. Scared to do it with dilute urine and the line not show up! Gonna be a long day waiting 😅 how is everything going for you?

@missmoosh completely understand how you feel! I was the same - limited myself to one test a day and only fmu as was so worried about there being no line if I tested at a different time.
It all sounds so promising!! So so pleased for you! @Natty2 fingers crossed you will join with a BFP shortly - well done for holding out testing! Hope AF stays away! 🤞

i’m doing good thanks! Had a scan last week - measured at 8 weeks and saw the heartbeat which was just amazing! Now just waiting for my 12 week appointment! I’ve had quite a lot of nausea and actually threw up a little yesterday but I’m welcoming all the symptoms to be honest xx

Oh thats so exciting, must have been such a relief seeing a heartbeat! When did your symptoms start? I have never been so ready to have every horrible symptom 😂

Interestingly I’ve seen quite a few people get their BFP’s right as they’re about to start IVF!

@kalixxx thank you! Glad I'm not going mad 😂 it's clearer in person as well! Will update tomorrow if it's still there. The dried tests are a lot clearer which is nice! Pink colour to them in person still dry which makes me feel happy
