Evening ladies,

Hope everyone’s ok & welcome to all the new people joining 😊

I am so annoyed with myself, after swearing I wasn’t going to early test after the potential chemical last month, I caved today at 9DPO 😩 I can swear there is a faint line but as always line eyes is a possibility. Can’t tell you how annoyed I am with myself, I swore I wouldn’t put myself through the torment of early testing again!

don’t be like me! 😂

lots of love to everyone xx

Eirlys1986 · 03/08/2023 22:22

@H0pefull dont beat yourself up! I will likely do the exact same thing next week! 😂. I hope if it is indeed a faint line you get some progression and certainty over coming days xxx
@Angelsrose God speed with smep, we only started on CD 10 this month and by the time it was day after ovulation tbh my poor fella was absolutely knackered (for real! 😂) and we just couldn’t manage. Hopefully it’s been enough 🤞

ReginaPhalange12 · 03/08/2023 22:41

@H0pefull I started at 6DPO 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ short LP so thought if I was successful this month then it might show (very!) early.

Wishing you luck this month ✨

CurlyWurly1991 · 04/08/2023 08:08

@H0pefull dont beat yourself up, we all do it!
when will you next be testing? Fingers crossed for you x

Sez281 · 04/08/2023 08:26

@H0pefull as everyone has said we're all guilty of it, I keep saying I won't test till 11DPO (3 now) but I know I probably will at around 9 🙈 Keep us updated, hopefully it becomes stronger over the next few days 🤞🤞

RoseH36 · 04/08/2023 08:27

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow welcome! Sorry to hear about your mcs, although it's very good way of looking at things. I've had a mmc and a mc ttc #2 this year. Now got a prescription of progesterone to take from a positive pregnancy test so good to hear you've found that helped you.

@H0pefull lol its so hard not to cave isn't it? Hopefully by tomorrow it will be more obvious if there's a line or not 🤞

H0pefull · 04/08/2023 10:01

Morning all,

thanks for your re assuring messages that I’m not crazy 😂 definitely a negative test this morning but AF not due until Tuesday so you never know. I did think I would get a positive at this point though so assuming I am out this cycle. We have our first fertility appointment booked on 16th of this month (have been TTC since our miscarriage in June last year, I’m only 25 so GP was concerned that nothing has happened yet since the miscarriage) so glad that’s coming up shortly.

hope everyone’s ok xx

MrsBP15 · 04/08/2023 12:03

Hi @H0pefull Firstly I'm so sorry for your loss and for the fact that things have been a struggle for you both since then in terms of TTC. I hope that your tests help give a clearer picture of things and some answers at the very least.

I've only been at this for six months (TTC #1) so realise I'm somewhat of a newbie but I've found that I've been able to resist testing during TWW is to say I won't test without my husband there. That way if I say I want to test he can ask if I'm sure/talk me down a little and it has massively helped me avoid disappointment of seeing negative tests or indeed positive if it is then a chemical. Like I say, this works for me and might not be for everyone but it also means that it feels like my husband and I are really in it together!

Sending you buckets of baby dust and hopefully being able to talk things through on here is helpful ✨

Sez281 · 04/08/2023 17:03

@H0pefull you're definitely still not out. Fingers crossed for next few days 🤞
@Eirlys1986 I splashed out on the proceive max today and had one at lunchtime. I'm assuming that it's totally normal to have crazy neon urine after just one sachet? 😱😂

Eirlys1986 · 04/08/2023 17:34

@Sez281 yeh completely normal for the neon urine throughout 😂. Enjoy! X

SnookyPook · 04/08/2023 18:00

Hey ladies! How are we all? 10dpo here... Eek! Just a few more days to wait. Really don't know what to expect. Have had some cramping but nothing major. And a lack of other signs I've had in previous pregnancies, although, as we like tormenting ourselves with, every pregnancy can be different... So who knows? Biggest anomaly this month is a significant lack of pms compared to my previous few cycles. Even if it doesn't mean anything, it's a welcome change. Must acknowledge though that while I'm doing a fairly good job of convincing myself at surface level that I'm chill and what will be will be, I know if AF appears it's going to hit me pretty hard. But, as ever, will dist myself off and go again!

Hope you are all well. X

SnookyPook · 04/08/2023 18:01

*dust ... 😂

Eirlys1986 · 04/08/2023 18:14

@SnookyPook hopefully the lack of pms bodes well, I think it’s hard whatever we tell ourselves that we can be rational and chill about not getting a positive in a cycle that’s really really hard work! I have had such an emotional day for no apparent reason, toddler is having a bit of a hard time of it today and we had to leave a drama class I tried to take him to as he just went berserk and then I found that really upsetting and have felt really upset all day as a result. Obvs toddlers push our buttons mega style but I kind of feel like my reaction today has been a bit OTT which has made OH question if I may be early preggo and hormonal but I honestly think we would read something into my little toe feeling mildly warm at present 😂

SnookyPook · 04/08/2023 20:49

@Eirlys1986 haha it's sooooo hard not reading into every little thing during this time isn't it?! Sorry you've had a rough day. Fingers crossed that it is a BFP on the horizon...!

El1988 · 04/08/2023 21:39

Hi ladies, I’m new here.

35, and TTC 6 months, with a MMC 2 months ago… AF is currently visiting, and I’m really really hoping that this month will be our month… is it me or does this whole thing become totally all-consuming? I can’t think about anything else, especially during each TWW…

Pineappleapple · 04/08/2023 21:45

6dpo here. Not testing yet, holding out so far!

Eirlys1986 · 04/08/2023 21:49

@Pineappleapple Im 6dpo too! Not sure how far I’m going to make it but have no tests in the house and have made an agreement with OH I will only test with him from now on which I’ve never done before so that should help me, when do you plan on testing?
@El1988 hello 👋, it is very all consuming for sure and tww is so hard…so much so that the ladies on here have renamed it “the valley of torment” 😂. I wish you lots of luck for this cycle xx

Eirlys1986 · 04/08/2023 21:50

Ps @El1988 so sorry to hear about your MMC, I had MMC in June, really difficult experience and hard to move forward positively from that so I really hope this is your month! Xxx

SnookyPook · 04/08/2023 23:41

@El1988 welcome and so sorry to hear of your loss. I had a MMC in April and like @Eirlys1986 said, I know how difficult it is to move forwards from that. Sending lots of love and luck your way.

Three days left in the valley of torment for me... This last bit is extra excruciating!! 😩😆

Pineappleapple · 05/08/2023 06:47

@El1988 it's really hard isn't it. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage
@Eirlys1986 tww buddies! No idea when I will test, prefer if I manage not to and just wait for period but last few months it's been harder to wait. Will just hold.off long as I can

Eirlys1986 · 05/08/2023 07:37

@Pineappleapple good luck with the holding off. I will see how I feel next week, having no tests in the house is helpful. Testing at work used to be another pitfall for me due to the abundance of tests there 🙈 but now I have promised to only test with OH it makes avoiding that easier 👍🏻

H0pefull · 05/08/2023 07:48

Another clear negative at 10DPO this morning..counting myself as definitely out this month

ReginaPhalange12 · 05/08/2023 08:39

@Eirlys1986 I'm sure my DH would be horrified at the number of tests I've done. Well done for holding off.
11DPO here, AF was supposed to be here yesterday but not even getting any squinters. At least my LP is increasing which is good.

CurlyWurly1991 · 05/08/2023 09:17

Good luck to all the TWW-ers hanging on!
I’m at CD7 here and trying to hear myself up for fertile week starting. I o’d early on CD11 last month.

CurlyWurly1991 · 05/08/2023 09:18

gear myself up…
