Anyone else starting their TWW? I'm 1dpo and need help staying sane whilst I google all of the symptoms under the sun 😂😂 currently googling "how does your cervix feel if you've conceived" lol

Now you mention it @thejollytrolleydolly I think I had a day of the fear/anxiety just before I got my BFP with my first too. I'll be looking out for that again now...
@Myna13 I'm going to tell my husband about the grumpus cards! Theyre amazing.
Not a jot of a symptom for me yet... 🙄 Xx

Don't worry about symptoms. Some people don't get them at all! You'll be able to test soon enough and know for sure. Hopefully this is the lucky month for you too!

Hi all! I'm joining in! I'm currently 5 dpo, ttc no. 2 first cycle! I got my bfp first time on 8 dpo, was terrified of it being a chemical until af was due, so i promised myself i wouldn't test early this time. I'm already being tempted to order cheapies online 🤦🤦😅 god help us!

Hi @AP27 welcome! I'm also trying to hold off early testing and symptom spotting (I'm also about 5dpo). Trying not to think about it until at least middle of next week. When are you thinking of testing? @Bubblesandtroubles I didn't have any symptoms with my first! And previous months did loads of symptom spotting with no bfp - complete mind games

@AP27 welcome! Well we're a group of early testers so don't feel bad if you do! We're all here testing left right and centre 😂 which test did you use when you got your positive at 8dpo? I've got a variety to use but don't want to use the expensive ones too early 😂

Just a couple more days until the testing can commence ladies 🤪 x

I hope you have more self control than me because I couldn't wait and tested this morning. I'm about 99% sure I will do the same tomorrow even though the plan was to wait a little longer 😂

Awww @satellitesunshine that's so annoying! I had a similar situation last month, I only managed to dtd at the very start of my fertile window and then dp got covid so was in no state for adult time for the next 4 days so completely missed my window! So frustrating but the next window will come round quicker than you know ❤️

@Myna13 haha Tbf it's a good job I've been at work all day today and up at 3am for work tomorrow or I would probably be in the same boat! I'm off Monday Tuesday and Wednesday though so I will definitely cave then. Might just use the cheapies to scratch the itch and then use the good ones towards the end of the week xx

@thejollytrolleydolly I've used the cheapies so far because it's literally just to soothe my anxiety to know that I've tested 😂 im also saving the good ones for later next week!

@Myna13 thank you! I think I will be propping my eyes open with matchsticks but nothing a coffee can't solve! I'm sure I will be checking in on Monday with my bfn too 😂 sometimes you just need to get it out of your system don't you?! X

@thejollytrolleydolly yup 😂 in my opinion. testing and getting a bfn is better than not testing and just wondering 😅

Last time i used one step cheapies and then i confirmed the bfp with every other possible test 😂 the motivation not to test is currently still strong with me, though i am simptom spotting like crazy 😬😬

@AP27 that's a good idea, I think that's what I'm going to do too. I'm a day behind you but I reckon I'll be testing from Tuesday 😂 it's good that you have a will power to hold off a bit longer. I'm too impatient! X

@thejollytrolleydolly @Myna13 looking forward to seeing test updates :) it'll probably make me tempted myself! Good news is that AF hasn't turned up an entire week early which is what happened last month (that was a massive curve ball!)

@ThelastRolo20 mine wasn't a whole week but was 4 days and that threw me right off! Our bodies are strange things aren't they!
I wonder how early we will get our first BFP 🤞🤞 xx

@Bubblesandtroubles it's so weird when it happens isn't it. Especially when I'm normally like clockwork - meant this month I was totally thrown about when I'd be ovulating and we only had sex twice so I'm not overly optimistic 😂 you never know though.

Definitely looking forward to seeing (hopefully!) Some early positives x

@thejollytrolleydolly good morning from your resident early tester! 😅 I couldn't help myself. I just needed to this morning. I'm only 7dpo today and the box of cheapies claims to show faint lines from 10dpo. But they're cheapies and I woke up anxious thinking I'd rather know it's a negative than spend my day wondering. So I tested, and ofcourse.. it was a BFN.

Hoping we all have more luck in the next few days! Waiting to see some BFPs on this thread 🤞

@Myna13 I bet it felt good to do it though! I'll probably start testing tomorrow or Tuesday even though I will only be 6dpo tomorrow 😂 I've got days off until Thursday so I will have nothing better to do! Yes give it a few more days and see what happens! I've been really light headed today and weeing a lot. Not sure if it's too early for symptoms but I swear the last couple of times I've noticed symptoms really early on... we will see! Who's going to get the first BFP?! Who knows xx

@thejollytrolleydolly definitely felt good. I'm a lot less anxious now that I've got the test out of the way for today.
I was feeling light headed yesterday (6DPO, 7 today), and woke up to wee like 5 times last night. I don't remember drinking tons of water before bed though so not sure if that's a symptom? I'm very thirsty today. Feels like my mouth is constantly dry! CM still milky/lotion-ey. Hoping these are all good signs. Feeling like this isn't worth it if it's a BFN 😂

@Myna13 you just have to get it out of your system don't you? Well good luck for later in the week! I got a bit disheartened today because I felt my cervix and it had gotten lower and harder but then I did my research and it says that it won't go high again until just before or just after my period is due so im still in the game!! X

6dpo here and loads of CM today but I felt like I had a lot last month so not trying to get too excited about that 😂

Casually starting TTC by just not preventing it and only going by my apple cycle tracking so we will see how it goes. Don’t understand all the terminology as its our first and i haven’t looked into all of this enough 😂

but technically now its our TWW, I never notice anything on my fertile week apart from discharge and today my lower tummy is a bit crampy so we shall see what happens!

I wonder if we’ll get lucky first try without actively testing to see if I’ve ovulated but I guess we will know in a few weeks!
