Anyone else starting their TWW? I'm 1dpo and need help staying sane whilst I google all of the symptoms under the sun 😂😂 currently googling "how does your cervix feel if you've conceived" lol

@Hotmalibu94 I'm 4DPO today too! We're also trying for baby #1. Hoping all goes well for you this cycle. I'm quite thrilled we'll be testing around the same time! ❤
@satellitesunshine welcome to the group! I haven't used OPKs before but the one from yesterday does look darker than the others. I usually go by the texture of my CM. As long as you've DTD, I think it should be fine. Good luck! ❤

@ThelastRolo20 don't worry. All of our cycles go out of whack sometimes. Hoping all goes well for you this cycle ❤
Are you an early tester, or do you think you're going to be able to wait another 10 days?

@Myna13 ahhh exciting! I was so heavily into symptom spotting last month and I just ended up with a wacky load of symptoms that came to nothing so I'm trying to keep my sensible head on this month and keep track but not to the same extent as last month 😂 what cycle is this for you?
Are you an early tester? I tested at 8dpo, 11dpo and 12dpo before waiting for my missed period last time and then AF arrived the afternoon after I expected it 😒 so this time I'm just going to wait until AF is due if I can!

ahh hopefully this month is ours then! i’m sick of it already 😂 i think it must be, i was really emotional over absolutely nothing wednesday about 11pm almost like pms symptoms which is why i feel like it must be a positive opk because you can get mood swings like that around ov? but maybe i’m just wishful thinking as dh is away until monday now so if it’s not my peak and i actually peak when he’s away i’m automatically out 😅😅

@Hotmalibu94 we seem to be around the same DPO! This is my #2 round for baby number 2. I ovulated around the 10/11th of July (although only tracking through CM etc). Already counting down the days before I can test. I guarantee I'll be testing before I should as I am impatient haha. It seems to be a common trait in this thread 😂

@Hotmalibu94 oh no! It's so disappointing to get a BFN. This is our first cycle for #1. I had a miscarriage in June 2022 which prompted some medical investigations. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's so had to wait until my thyroid was under control for us to try again. I think this was the break my mental health needed as well.
I barely remember the symptoms I had the last time, but I'm definitely symptom spotting this month.
I'm definitely an early tester. My tests arrived on Wednesday, so I did one yesterday even though I know that there's no way that I could get a BFP. I just needed to do it, so I did. I'm hoping to wait until this time next week at least before I test again.

Hi @MaddKatt91 😁 sounds very similar to me! Fingers crossed for us both, I look forward to your early tests 😂 it's these threads that make me want to test early too but I'm going to try and stay strong!

@Myna13 it's so hard isn't it! Doesn't help that DH's bro and SIL are having a baby and it sounds very accidental 🙃 and they're possibly stealing the one name we had picked out 😭 got to hope they don't have a girl 😂 glad everything is settled for you and your Hashimotos and fingers crossed for a successful cycle!

@Myna13 going to try and wait until next Saturday - not too hopeful as goodness knows when I ovulated but fingers crossed anyway! Where are you in the TWW? when are you thinking of testing? X

@ThelastRolo20 I think I'm 5dpo. I ovulated on Sunday. But consistently DTD before and after. I got excited when my tests arrived on Wednesday and did one yesterday 😂 I know there's no way I could have got an accurate result, but doing it made me less anxious. I'm going to try and wait until this next week. If I make it to next Thursday without a test, that'll be great! Then I can poas every day until AF comes along (or hopefully doesn't)

@Myna13 haha I don't blame you! It's so hard to try and resist. I try and hold out so then it's not as long to wait until AF and the next go! Fingers crossed for Thursday - it's the symptom spotting that drives me crazy each month x

How have you been feeling? I've been symptom spotting myself 😅

Literally no symptoms yet apart from being tired but that's 100% due to having a toddler! I won't even start thinking about it until Monday (well I'll try not to anyway). Last month's cycle threw me a curve ball and AF arrived a whole 8 days early! So as long as that doesn't happen again I'm a lot happier haha x

Thanks @Myna13 just had some Amazon very cheap early tests through the post but negative on that too. I think I probably am out for this one again. We dtd every day of what should have been my fertile period. I'm not completely ruling out this month but thinking it's getting less likely as these are 6 day early tests and af should be wednesday.

@GHJ That's very disappointing. I don't know how good these early tests can be, so I really think you should wait a few days and test again before giving up. And if not, it's okay. There's always next month ❤
@ThelastRolo20 8 days is super early! Hopefully we make it to Monday and see how we're feeling then. I get the feeling I might anxiously test at some point over the weekend even though I know I shouldn't 😂

Hey @Myna13 I'm ok! Been up since 3am for work so I have been super tired this afternoon. I just feel bloated and have a period like lower backache. No idea what's causing it! Flo has changed my ovulation date due to the symptoms I have entered so I'm at 3dpo now! Only 4 more days until I whip the cheapies out 😂😂

I feel like changing the title of the thread to "early testers club" I don't know why but testing early is like scratching an itch. Even though I know it's going to be negative it just gets rid of the "what ifs!" Looking forward to seeing some test pictures in a week or so and I'll have my line eyes at the ready! I've never been able to get a positive until my period has been due although I know some people get their BFP's at 7DPO! Crazy!

I'm on baby number 2. Took 3 years to conceive my daughter and then fell pregnant without trying in March which ended in MMC in may. I'm on my second cycle since the mc after a false positive on a frer last month! Onwards and upwards!
