Dpo 1, tww keep sane

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

Can ovulation tests detect early pregnancy? I’m learning lots of new things during this TWW 😂

@cosymama2020 from what I’ve read a lot of people have detected early pregnancy through OPK as they had a late LH Surge, but others ovulate more than once or late in the pregnancy.

I’ve had a peak reading 2/3 times already so the fact I’m now getting a high reading is weird!! So im hoping, but may not be the case. And too early for me to take a PT

@BlossomTree123 id deffo try a pregnancy test hun!! So if you get positives on opk it means it’s detecting pregnancy as it can’t decide if it’s lh or hcg it’s picking up! Oohhh so excited for you!!! If you don’t want to test yet with a hcg deffo keep doing opks if it still is positive I think your pregnancy test will be too!! 😍

update: symptoms are back! Really bad back ache, dizzy, thirsty now, cramps (feels like I’m about to start my period) sorry for tmi loads of egg white discharge but yellow ! (Had this with my first daughter like it’s the start of a mucus plug if that makes sense) I hope I’m not reading into it too much 😂 I’m turning into a crazy lady 😂

@MrsP20202 i know yeah there’s me saying that knowing damn well I’d be worrying myself 🤣. Yeah use your opks if they satisfy your needs to pee on a stick!😂 i have loads of cheapies that come with my opks so I just use them lol. I’ve just woken from a nap and quite a horrible dream lol 😂I hope I sleep tonight

@MrsP20202 those symptoms also sound very promising!! I have my little weird stabbing pain back in my uterus right now to the right side and my boobs are deffo a bit fuller I have a crease under them for the first time in ages. (Completely shrunk after my last pregnancy) and all the weight loss 😩 I have severe morning sickness to look forward to!

@missmae @bookworm100 @HelloMoon87 also 7DPO and also very bloated low down! I don't think I've eaten anything bloat worthy so hoping this is good news. I feel like I've also felt very tiny cramps but I could definitely be imagining it!

Will definitely test when I get home from work in a bit even tho I know that's very silly and it will be negative.

I’m so annoyed with myself ! I’ve had heavy ache boobs today and tummy ache - so I thought I’d do another cb and basically worse than I had yesterday - still see a faint line but not convinced - feel really really down about it now - I know it’s still early days but I just had high hopes …

@missmae sane here but my stabbing pain is left side! I can never go on my boobs as them seem to get fuller or feel fuller before a period but I am having little shooting pains In my nipples but I don’t know if that’s from my 3 year old (she for some reason has taken to squeezing my boobs when she hugs me but very tightly 🤦🏻‍♀️ ) oh see with me I had HV with my daughter was in hospital on a drip throughout my pregnancy couldn’t even keep water down but with my son oh it was a breeze! Didn’t once get sick

@Tes004 how many DPO now? Can you show us a pic of the test?

@pinkandredflowers hopefully it is good signs for us 🥺. Haha we’ve all done it today I think no judgment here 😂!

@MrsP20202 surely all these pains etc must mean something for us, we’re not that crazy are we?! Do you know if you ovulated from your left side? When I did with my previous pregnancy my pains stayed to the left side during implantation as well! So I’m really hoping it means something this time too! Hmm see mine don’t hurt at all though this is why I’m kinda thinking I’m imagining it. They just feel less squishy than a few days ago 🤣 oh lucky you! I still had it with my last pregnancy that was a boy, lost 2 stone but eventually managed to settle it with anti sickness meds… I still have lots left in my bedside drawer ready 🫣

Feeling a bit down, my symptoms are all gone since the morning. I'm dpo 7 today.

test isn’t worth uploading - I can see a shadow in person but it don’t look like much in the pic @pinkandredflowers 😞

And I’m not sure how to work out dpo as I had a static smile 1/7 late afternoon - so either 2nd or rd would have been ovulation if it’s 12-24 hrs after - so I assume to play it safe 8-9dpo ??

You're likely 8 dpo, @Tes004. I would recommend waiting until Thursday to test (best even until weekend).

@missmae oh tell me about it if I’m not pregnant I’ll feel very stupid 😂 I can’t remember what side I felt pain during ovulation 😂 infact I think I didn’t think about it and dragged hubby upstairs 😂 oh don’t I hope if I do become pregnant I won’t get that again it was horrible! With both my babies I lost weight! I seem to lose weight when pregnant but when I have them I put so much on afterwards! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I didn’t get given the anti sickness meds are they any good?

@Tes004 from experience hun use the pink dye tests! I always had nasty evaps that were blue with clear blue got my hopes up many times 😞 if you can see a line how ever faint in person tho it’s a good sign try rest your brain and test in a few days ❤️ Please don’t stress (I no how hard it is not to stress)

@MrsP20202 i did one and neg, but only 6 DPO according to flo, but unsure!!! We will see.

@BlossomTree123 oh 6dpo you won’t get a positive as it takes anywhere from I believe, you implant from 6 days onwards then it takes a couple of days for a test to even show positive :) so my fingers are so crossed for you!

Omg does testing make anyone else feel completely delusional? I've just stared at a negative test for a good half an hour convincing myself there is a shadow (there is not!)

@Tes004 don't be disheartened, it's still early days and I agree, use the pink dye as it's more accurate.

That was me this morning, I took it from my bathroom to my bedroom, looked at it with a torch, the light off, light on, by the window, with my glasses and without! Drove myself crazy trying to find a line 🤪

I've read that symptoms can come and go! I know it's easy to say but keep faith! Sending you positive baby vibes 🤱

@Tes004 you're still early my love, don’t get too disheartened yet, there’s still plenty of time for those hcg levels to rise! ❤️ But I agree definitely use pink dye tests from now. I only use a clear blue when I get a positive from a pink dye first!

@MrsP20202 tbf I don’t think everyone experiences ovulation pain anyway! I was deffo crampy enough to notice them 😂! Oh bless you, tbh I’ve still not put my weight back on but I’m not complaining 😂. And I was given cyclizine I’m surprised they didn’t offer you any at all? They did work eventually… I was admitted a couple of times it was horrendous I was so weak I couldn’t walk anywhere. I started to try and eat dry toast or something dry every time I felt the nausea come and then I started to actually kind of help it. But I had to take them religiously. If I missed one or 2 it’s game over for a couple of days until it’s built back up in my system again. I got cocky a few times and was like yeah this is all going too well I don’t feel sick at all… stopped taking them and was back in hospital again. Lesson learnt 😂😂

@pm24 omg it's so nice to hear you are the same 😂 literally same as me torch on, torch off, try different lighting etc!

@MrsP20202 yes I’m too early to test, I definitely felt some weird stabbing pains 3 days after ovulation. But way to early to test so we will see!!
