Hello!

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

@cosymama2020 I had nothing on opk after ovulation, maybe like a tiny shadow, but that's expected I think.

@missmae how were doughnuts? 🤤
Did you get 10miu tests this afternoon?

I'm also feeling a little deflated today just because my symptoms are all gone. Before I had leaky boobs, quite strong ovulation/AF type of cramps and nausea, but all gone for yesterday and today. I know there is lots of time, I should take my own advice, but just wanted to share. Googled loads on getting bfp after symptoms going, but nothing was very useful...

@HelloMoon87 ahh you’re 100% right. It’s reassuring to hear especially when you say you had a negative 11dpo and then a positive in the afternoon! You’re right tho it really is all about patience. And we, do not have any. 😂
I'm all cosy under a blanket now going to binge Netflix for the day I think!

missmae · 12/07/2023 15:45

@HelloMoon87 the donuts were great. I go to this big European supermarket and they just sell the best snacks! 🤤 I did get them, I did one with roughly a 3 hour hold but very negative! Only 9dpo today so I don’t feel too bad about it. Reminding myself that all my previous positives were around 14dpo!
i don’t think symptoms disappearing is necessarily a bad thing, every pregnancy is different right?!
today I’ve been feeling very groggy, still very tired and fatigued, with mild cramps coming and going!

Ladies, we have time!!! Early days, things can change over a matter of hours. In my previous positive, I tested stark white negative on dpo 11 morning and then a positive on dpo 11 afternoon.

So the main thing is to stay patient, do some fun stuff to distract yourself, talk about it and we will get through to the next week together hopefully with some bfps.

🥰 this is why I love this group!!

pm24 · 12/07/2023 15:53

I am also feeling down today as my symptoms are non existent! I've finished work now for 10 days as I'm off for a short break. Was really hoping for some good news before we went as it's also DH bday! I know it's early but just can't help feel it's not happening for me 🥺

I need to pack but am currently on the sofa wrapped in a blanket. All I want to do is have some pizza and a cry.

cosymama2020 · 12/07/2023 15:56

Very true @HelloMoon87 ! I was 4 days late before I got my BFP so I don’t know why I’m getting stressed now haha!

I’m still super tired, eating everything my eyes land on and will not take any form of banter from the husband without snapping 😅

I think for me, the tiredness is the biggest symptom. I can have the odd day where I’m completely tired but this is day 3 of being completely wiped out and in bed by 9.30.

Sorry you are feeling this way. I 100% get it. Still have everything crossed for you! It's not over till AF.

missmae · 12/07/2023 16:04

@pm24 i feel like a lack of symptoms isn’t a bad thing! I’ve read on lots of forums that people had more symptoms the cycles they didn’t conceive… everybody is different! My sister didn’t have any at all, she’s only just starting to have sickness now at nearly 6 weeks!

@cosymama2020 same for me, the fatigue and tiredness has taken over the for the last week it’s been the worst, I want to sleep 24/7, it’s nice that I’ve been off work this week lol!

tmi question though, since about 5/6dpo I’ve been ever so dry down there - no cm at all… this is very unusual for me as I usually don’t dry up it stays creamy until af shows. But I’ve had nothing now for a good few days… Has this happened to anyone else?!

longingtobe23 · 12/07/2023 16:10

@HelloMoon87

you could be a motivational speaker it’s what I needed to hear I am only 11DPO so I guess I’m still just in with a chance 🥰

Scarletthoping · 12/07/2023 17:30

10DPO (I think) and also feel like my symptoms have disappeared 😬 Apart from my boobs are still a bit sore. Anyway that’s reassuring to know @missmae that many people don’t have symptoms or have less. Eeek! 🤞🏻

I’m still holding off testing. Mainly because I don’t have any and know the second I actually buy some I’ll test straight away and I want to wait until I can be sure of the result. It’s so SO hard to wait though 😫

bookworm100 · 12/07/2023 17:42

Handhold please! I've had a stressful day and am worried that I've harmed my chances through either a) the stress of the day or b) the small glass of red wine I am now indulging in to recover from it Blush

missmae · 12/07/2023 17:46

@Scarletthoping you're doing well lol! My boobs are not sore but they feel fuller? Can that even happen lol can they feel full, without feeling heavy and sore?😵‍💫

@bookworm100 oh bless you! 🫂 don’t worry neither of those will affect your chances!! Sit back and enjoy!!

pm24 · 12/07/2023 18:33

@bookworm100 you are fine. None of those will have hindered your chances. Try to relax and not think about it. Take a few deep breathes in and out x

HelloMoon87 · 12/07/2023 18:37

@missmae I'm all dry as well?! It was a lot more than usual before. Yeah going from quite strong symptoms to nothing is odd to say the least, but maybe that's ok?

OP posts:
BlossomTree123 · 12/07/2023 19:10

its so normal to not have symptoms or to have them! I know so many cases where people had no symptoms so were shocked they were pregnant and others who knew before a test would pick it up.

we do all have time! Im hoping we are going to get loads of BFPs this month

missmae · 12/07/2023 19:24

@HelloMoon87 yeah I’m never ever this dry, ive usually always got some there! yeah I think it’s okay! Like I’ve read so many forums of women still getting their bfp. So fingers crossed 🤞🏼
update though, boobs are finally starting to hurt and feel heavier…it really is all about patience 😂

HelloMoon87 · 12/07/2023 20:05

Aww thank you everyone, I've just been catching up. I feel so much better already. With my son, symptoms came and went till 3rd trimester when I could feel him move a lot (I had anterior placenta), and I remember I used to be anxious every other week. And yes lots get bfps without any symptoms as well.

@bookworm100 I also worry about that, I'm trying to take it easy this cycle with work but it's just so hard to not get caught up. Maybe nice relaxing bath/evening would help?

@missmae are you watching anything nice on Netflix?
I've just read that lack of cm can also be due to not getting hydrated? What?! I've started getting slight headache now, maybe all of this is just me not having enough water through the day

I think I'm going to test on and onwards Friday dpo 11. I decided I can't wait, and I'd rather know 🙈

OP posts:
missmae · 12/07/2023 20:34

@HelloMoon87 ah I also had an anterior placenta with last pregnancy. Nightmare when going for scans! But that’s good you feel better!😊
haha not really, I put the office on, I needed some humour! 😂and really? I mean I’ve been drinking a lot of water maybe not enough 🤔. I mean you’ve done better than most of us testing! Been searching and it says hcg levels can be detected 4-5 days after implantation. So it probably is more logical to start testing at 11dpo 😂

HelloMoon87 · 12/07/2023 20:49

@missmae yeah anterior placenta is not fun, even the midwife used to struggle to find the heartbeat 😂 office sounds fun, I'm going to watch glamorous with some ice cream now

So, I was even thinking of waiting till next week when AF is due. It's a bit hard to know when AF is due because I had a chemical in May, but should be roughly Monday. I've had 2 chemicals with fairly good lines (but just not same as control) in the last 5 months, so I'm definitely nervous.

OP posts:
missmae · 12/07/2023 20:53

@HelloMoon87 yes I had the same issue! especially when I was using a Doppler at home…😬 would take me forever to find it!! Did you start showing sooner because of that? Because I popped around 14 weeks and I’m sure it was because of the placenta! Ooo I’ve just had quesadillas. But something sweet would be nice. You have a lot of self control to be waiting till next week!! But I can imagine the nerves tbh it probably would be best for you to wait 🥺🤞🏼

pinkandredflowers · 12/07/2023 20:55

Hellooo everyone! Hope you've all had a nice day.

I have just tested again at 9dpo (I think, peak opk was evening of 2nd so assuming ovulation was 3rd) and bfn - there is no second line but my brain is playing tricks on me and I'm conviiinced there is a super super faint shadow 🙄 (there isn't I've tried all the rooms and light options 🤣)

Anyone else's eyes just completely lose the plot when looking at tests?!

I'm looking forward to love island to take my mind off it ha

HelloMoon87 · 12/07/2023 21:07

@missmae I don't remember when I popped haha. I do remember not feeling any movements until week 24 and being worried. When I started feeling it was more on the side as well, not at the front, so uncomfortable 😂. Nobody told me about my anterior placenta until then as well.
I think I'll test from Friday for sure. With chemical, I'd only bleed from dpo 19, and I just know at some point I'll find out even if I test day after AF.

@pinkandredflowers welcome back, long time no see 😂 did you take a photo of it in the best light and check the photo instead? I feel like sometimes that makes it better to decide whether there is a line?

OP posts:
pinkandredflowers · 12/07/2023 21:12

@HelloMoon87 definitely no line in pictures I am just living in lala land and think I'll stay until either a real positive or AF comes along 🤣
