Dpo 1, tww keep sane

Hello!

TTC #2, 36 yo. I should be dpo 1 today, I could feel ovulation yesterday evening, had peak opk yesterday morning.

I will try to test only on day when AF due, so next Sunday, as I've had 2 chemicals so unfortunately not expecting magic.

9DPO and stark white negative on a 10miu test today ☹️

@bookworm100 same here, I thought I could see a vvfl but it's just my brain making it up as I've spent the last ten minutes doing all sorts to the picture to see I could see the second line! Flo says I'm 9dpo and Premom says I'm 10dpo. Either I'm putting it down as a bfn today. 🙁

I feel totally whacked today, had a good night sleep but feel so tired and have a banging head!

also I think yesterdays test was an evap as BFN this morning. 8 DPO today so we will see but just had the urge

Bfn for me this morning on a savers pink dye - so 💯 shouldn’t have kept the clear blue ..
feel really down about it - even though I know it can still be early and I have 4-6 days to get my bfp - getting packing to take my son to Paris for his birthday today - so that will keep me busy and also not taking any tests with me - will try and relax and spend some one on one with him - tho I have just had a paddy and threw a box of tampons in bag just in case af rocks up too ! Feel emotional why are af symptoms so similar to pg !! Clearly a man created the female design !! Uhh

@Tes004 it's so early! I know what you mean though, it's so disappointing to see BFN. Trip sounds like a good plan, hope you enjoy the trip with your son!!

To add to the feed - 10dpo slight shadow but think it’s evap so bfn for me today

@bookworm100 i tested with my 20mIU I can’t see much today at all just shadows of a line up to the light! Will use a 10miu when they come! @BlossomTree123 @pm24 we’re still early tho guys!

9dpo today so I woke up at 5:30 again 🙄. Today just feeling really groggy, like I’m about to come down with something and feel really hungry! Not much so far this morning!

Morning @missmae @BlossomTree123 @HelloMoon87 - I sense we're all getting a little disheartened but it is still early!

Question, you know how tests say "from 6 days before your missed period", if I'm due next Wednesday 19th...where would that put me now?

I'm going by 10DPO based on ovulation peak strips, but my temp is only 7DPO and I do normally have high temps for 13 days before AF making Wednesday 19th when I'm due on so I'm just wondering when by that calculation is the beginning of when it's legitimate to test with an early test, if that makes sense?

Sorry, I'm 9DPO by LH peak, 7DPO by temp.

@bookworm100 I think temp is more accurate than ovulation tests. Which opk did you use? But yes, I would test on the weekend to be on the safe side?

@bookworm100 I'm dpo 9 today. I didn't temp though so going purely by symptoms of ovulation and opks.

All my symptoms are gone since yesterday afternoon, which is odd because in all my pregnancies I had some type of symptoms on dpo 8 night, usually frequent weeing or night sweats. Just have to be patient and wait till the weekend...

Thanks @HelloMoon87 ! I just used internet cheapies for LH testing.

I'm only tempted to go by the LH peak as it corresponded with my ovulation pain/CM and I had an ultrasound the month before where he could see I'd ovulated and that was a few days before my temp rise.

That said, I do always have about 13 high temps before my period arrives, and if you're not meant to test until at least 6 days before your missed period I guess I am resting too early atm and maybe Friday is the first day I could expect to get even a faint line.

Nonetheless I will keep testing every day until then I'm sure as you never know and I'm enjoying the camaraderie of testing with you guys!

Do you do your DPO by LH or temps?

Sorry, just seen that you said! Yes, we both might be earlier than we realise if we're going by LH strips - wish there was a way to know for sure what DPO you are!

And I'm also 9DPO by LH 😊

@bookworm100 yeah I'd think if anything was to be seen, it would be Friday but even then it might be a bit early. I'd say this Sunday would be the best time to test, but I'll probably cave and test on Friday.

@bookworm100 aww yeah this time is so nerve wracking. It's so easy to feel disheartened, but our time will come if not this cycle then next or the one after. It's coming!!! I'll stay on this thread as long as possible, it's lovely to have such supportive group.
I've been eating quite badly last few days, hoping to do some exercise and eat healthily today.
Hope implantation happens today, if I see pink/brown spotting I'll be so excited. Summoning the gods of implantation

@HelloMoon87 omg me too! I've been eating like an absolute beast and been so lazy.

I'm also eating healthy today and am about to go for a walk...to buy some more tests

Hopefully a bit of self care today and we'll both be feeling better no matter what!

@bookworm100 i wasn’t expecting to see a line on my test tbh.. I am hoping maybe on my new tests they should be here by 3pm so until then I’m going shopping for donuts. 😂 also again I’ve never gotten a bfp until af due which is next Tuesday anyway! But I will keep testing lol😆
I don’t temp myself I just use opks too and go off my symptoms. I think I ov on day of peak. Last time I caught on day of peak too!

@missmae ah that's interesting that it's normally closer to AF for you - I'm sure it's probably madness to test this early but I'm going to keep doing it 😅

I did an OPK this morning, was a big old circle so I was grumpy afterwards thinking I was out. Had a chat with myself - I’m only 4 DPO (potentially) 3, so I need to try and find some patience and just wait it out...

But every inch of me can’t wait it out and I’m symptom spotting like mad 😂

Ladies, we have time!!! Early days, things can change over a matter of hours. In my previous positive, I tested stark white negative on dpo 11 morning and then a positive on dpo 11 afternoon.

So the main thing is to stay patient, do some fun stuff to distract yourself, talk about it and we will get through to the next week together hopefully with some bfps.
