I wasn't late, I just tested before my period. I seem to have very short cycles. 24/25 days. This one was 24 days.

@MK85 I would advise you to ditch the clearblue sticks. I tried them for 2 cycles and whilst they're accurate they do not offer anything more than the far cheaper Easy@home sticks which last for many cycles. I think they're more accurate and you can see your LH increase when you input the data onto the premom app. I don't think that you should rely on the darkness of the clearblue strips. If you are worried about ovulation, the best way to check is through a day 21 progesterone via your GP. It is also worth checking your LH and FSH between CD2 and CD6. Best of luck.

Im just wondering for those of you who use clearblue . Has anyone tried taking a test a day or two after ovulation? Probably not but thought I'd ask anyway

My peak fertility was two days ago.
But i tested again this morning as i dont think ive actually released the egg. Temps not rising and still have little cm and pain.
My LH readings have dropped but still registering at 0.48..which i never have unless ovulation is going to kick off.
Clearblue reset itself after peak ( so automatically gives blank first day)
However I checked the strip itself and the line looks really strong. I'm not sure if lines on clearblue can take a few days to go down or of its picking up on lh and estrogen again like I'm still yet to ovulate

I had clear blue peak fertility mon Tues

Cheap sticks coralated..

Used cheap sticks wed am - was still positive but lighter
Neg on cheaps by thursday..

You could have peak peak on cb

And show light on cheap sticks 4 ovulation day after i guess?

And im feeling a bit sick

Guna do one of those early tests mon or Tues

Unfortunately i have lots of health issues since bad glandular fever last yr

Had more hosp referals in post today

Gastro assessment at hosp next thurs

My b12 is low too but gp wants re tested in aug - then b12 injection jn Aug if still low

Have been having at least one banana a day 4 progesterone

Kellogs 4 b12 & beetroot 4 b12

Issue is 4 those with pcos
Or those who ovulate later jn cycle - hard 2 time it

P.s I've recently stating taking sunflowers seeds during the luteal as I've heard it can support progesterone. Pumpkin is supposed to be good up until ovulation.
I think its a method people follow called seed cycling

Hope the pain eases soon - could u ask 4 a transvaginal scan ? - maybe u have cysts or fibroids ? They could check various things via scan

How’s everyone doing? I’ve used clear blue ovulation tests for the first time this month…yesterday in the morning the static smiley appeared and we DTD in the evening. Does the static smiley mean ‘ovulation day’ or is it more a ‘peak fertility window’? Just wondering if I need to DTD again today because frankly I’m exhausted already 😂😅

@Cinai Static is your peak so ovulation in the next 48hrs if I remember rightly. I'd say go for it again today if you can manage. Sorry lol!

Although my temp this month didn't rise and i was continuing to have symptoms until 4th day after peak test.

I'm currently 10dpo.
I did one of those finger prick progesterone tests... never again.
I couldn't draw enough blood to fill the vial.
I had plasters on every single finger as i had a moment of complete insanity at 7am ,still half asleep, I ended up hacking all my fingers with a knife as I'd used all the lancets up 🙈 and I still couldn't get enough f*kn blood as it was clotting immediately and wouldn't drip.
Results should be due tomorrow but I'm already certain the sample will fail due to insuffient amount or cells being damaged as I squeezed the shit out of them

@MK85 in case you end up doing one again - not sure how good the instructions are for those tests, but I took part in a post-COVID trial and had to do a few of these tests. They said to stick your hand in a bowl of warm water for 5 mins, and then do a load of star jumps before pricking your finger. My finger bled so much I made a right mess of everything in the vicinity!

Honestly, I tried everything.

I had a hot shower, exercised, warmed my hands and gave them a gentle massage beforehand but it was still a difficult task 😫 I don't think I'll ever attempt to do that again. I still feel traumatised by it 😆 I think I'll just pay the extra £35 to have it drawn from vein next time.
I got my results back today but my levels weren't satisfactory to confirm ovulation but I've definitely had temp spike. I'm questioning if I've ovulated a few days later than I thought I had or weather I could have low progesterone

I.did a urine preg test this am that was negative

Ordered the blood test one cuz apparently it shows there b4 urine

Im just ugh at feeling nausea/ unwell

( ive been through a lot in the past year with tests and referals .. hospital next week & 2 other medical appts next week too)

Nausea could be the low b12 etc

On average its released 36hrs from start of surge. Give or take and the egg is viable for 24hrs after release so id definitely try and do it over the next few days @
