@bubballoo fingers crossed for you, I experienced the same before I got my sticky bean

@MK85 praying for a Christmas miracle for you 🙏🏻

Downtherabbithole83 · 30/10/2023 21:16

Looks like a good line to me @bubballoo 🤞

Sending positive vibes and thoughts your way @MK85 xx

40andtrying1 · 04/11/2023 17:12

I am approx 12 dpo
had spotting at 9 dpo, but I did a couple months ago at 9dpo and was not pregnant.
Wonder why this happens.
To be honest it has started happening since I started taking coq 10 and vitamin C

Cervix feels hard, probably going to come on at 14dpo as usual. 😕

10 months ttc (I think,lost count)

Angelsrose · 04/11/2023 17:36

@40andtrying1 I think Coq10 messed up my cycle so I stopped taking it in May and got a BFP in September. I asked my GP about Coq10 and she said it was outside of her experience. I was keen not to do anything to reduce my chances of ovulation which is why I stopped Coq10. I originally started taking it after reading "It starts with the egg" which I still regard as an excellent book but I am not sure that Coq10 suits all women.

40andtrying1 · 04/11/2023 18:36

It’s hard to know what to do for the best. I’ve never spotted before period until starting the coq 10 and vitamin c. I may stop it soon, I don’t think any of the seven vitamins I am taking are helping.

MK85 · 04/11/2023 19:10

@40andtrying1 how much q10 were you taking ? I haven't read the book but I believe she suggests 600mg ubiquinol which I think is quite excessive not to mention unfeasible. There's actually a thread on here somewhere about women who took q10 and it really messed with their cycles. I think one of the girls on it had actually emailed the author with a link to the thread.
I took 100mg and never had any issue with it affecting my cycle.
I amped the dosage up months before my ivf round but to be honest, given that they said my embryos were poor quality I can't speak highly of q10 or any of the other supplements aimed at supporting egg quality . I also took nmn and glutathione and I think I'll stick to a regular multivitamin in future and save myself some money . I was spending around £200 a month past few months. I threw everything at that round in hope of producing a good quality embryo

Fingers crossed for you this month anyway.
I'm 6days past a 5 day transfer so I'm guessing around 11dpo

Bruzz · 04/11/2023 19:11

Hello, I hope you don't mind me joining you. I am (I think) 7dpo, this is my first proper cycle after a MMC in September. I had increased cm today (sorry tmi) and checked cervix, high and soft, so did a test. Can anyone tell me what they think? I don't want to get my hopes up especially after such an awful time recently with mmc. Thanks all, not sure if image is attaching!

Bruzz · 04/11/2023 19:12

Image attached now, thanks again everyone

It’s been quiet on here again - how’s everyone doing?

MK85 · 08/11/2023 20:09

@Downtherabbithole83 how are you getting on ?
I'm currently 10dp5dt which is about 15dpo I think in a normal cycle 🤷‍♀️
My ivf cycle resulted in a bfp.
I'm trying to remain hopeful but at the same time I'm cautious that it's super early days and I'm trying not to get overly excited

Downtherabbithole83 · 08/11/2023 21:02

I’ll stay cautiously optimistic for you @MK85! Apologies for not remembering, but have you had many BFPs before?

All okay here - hcg test last Thursday was only 41 so definitely have miscarried. Stopped bleeding on Sunday so was like a normal period in the end. However, I’m still testing a faint positive about the same strength it’s been all along so I’m concerned that the levels, whilst low, aren’t dropping. I have another blood test on Friday…

bubballoo · 10/11/2023 21:11

Had a blood test to track HCG after previous miscarriages and it hasn't gone up in 4 days 🙁
So now I just wait to miscarry. Feeling so low, I really thought this would be something.

MK85 · 10/11/2023 21:24

@Downtherabbithole83
Have you been sent for any further testing to see why your hcg levels aren't dropping ? I would have thought they would rule out retained tissue or blighted ovum ect
You'd think your levels would have decreased after a few days

Downtherabbithole83 · 10/11/2023 21:59

Sorry to hear that @bubballoo. Has the level changed at all?

How are you doing @MK85? I should be able to see my hcg level from my blood test today on the NHS app tomorrow… hoping it’s at least a bit lower. I don’t understand why I’m still testing positive - I’m sure if my level hasn’t changed much they’ll want to investigate a bit more. All a bit annoying really!

bubballoo · 10/11/2023 22:02

From 259 on Monday to 206 today. Should've been 650-1100 to be viable.
I'm not sure what to do other than wait now

bubballoo · 10/11/2023 22:13

If I still haven't started bleeding next week I'll call the EPU. I had the blood tests privately and I'm only 5+2 so too early to see anything on a scan now.

I'm not even sure how you get under the care of the EPU. I guess I'll call and see. I saw them for a previous miscarriage but I was further along and my midwife referred me.

MK85 · 10/11/2023 22:24

@bubballoo I think it depends, some EPU'S you can self refer and others require a referral

Downtherabbithole83 · 10/11/2023 22:39

@bubballoo the waiting really is the worst bit… so much of this ttc game is waiting for something. It’s so hard.

bubballoo · 10/11/2023 22:44

Yeah, thinking of you @Downtherabbithole83 it's really shit.

I just want to be done with this now and try again. I.e. move on, get over it. But you can't, you have to wait until your body says so.

bubballoo · 15/11/2023 22:48

Scanned at the EPU today, HCG is still a similar level (I.e. not going up or down) and there was nothing on the scan, no sign of anything in tubes or uterus at 6weeks and I haven't bled. I know this is not a viable pregnancy (which EPU were also clear about) I am mainly fed up of this weird limbo state.

How is everyone else getting on? Other people's good news always buoys me up ☺️

40andtrying1 · 16/11/2023 07:28

Looks like a very faint positive 💓

bubballoo · 16/11/2023 09:14

Yay! That's great news @40andtrying1 😁

Downtherabbithole83 · 16/11/2023 22:25

@bubballoo sorry that is wasn’t better news at EPU. The limbo sucks - hopefully the bleed will begin soon so you can move.

@40andtrying1 that’s exciting - how many dpo are you?

Any news @MK85? Have been thinking of you - hope everything’s okay.

40andtrying1 · 20/11/2023 06:00

I have gone back to 600 coq-10, I’ve spaced the disagreement out 10 hours between each one. But I really do think it has increased the ewcm - a lot! So I am going to continue with it.
I’ve started my husband on it now as I hear it improves semen.. so fingers crossed.
I am 3dpo now, time will tell… 💕

hennie222 · 28/11/2023 07:53

Morning all, hope everyone's doing ok. Came on to share an update and ask some Qs....
So POAS this am (13dpo) and it's faintly positive! Hurrah! (I'm not getting too excited yet mind..). There's a lot to be said for relaxing and not "trying too hard". I'vejust restarted my side hustle job that I gave up last time I was PG (mmc) and have gotten really into a new exercise regime.....
I've been taking Coq10 (not for very long) - think I should probably stop taking that now. Might start on baby aspirin too as I had a MMC previously...but need to do more research. Would like to know anyone's thoughts on those!

@40andtrying1 and news for you yet? keeping all things crossed.
