@Lifegivesyoulimes really sorry to hear that. I've had one chemical and that was hard enough. I constantly think about it and the what ifs. If it had of stuck I'd be due this month :(
I can't imagine how your feeling having had 6.
I think as difficult as it is, it's definitely reassuring. I was told that at my appointment with fertility that it's a good sign the egg and sperm are coming together.

I had to lose 2 and a half stone . As hard as it was , i managed to lose it in relatively short period of time.

Anyone else testing soon? I’m now 11 DPO (I think). I’m feeling pain in my breasts today, although more/only on one side…I hope that is a good sign and not something nasty. Thinking of testing tomorrow morning.

I’m 7dpo and not feeling anything different at the moment.

I don’t plan on testing unless af is late though - don’t see the point anymore to be honest. It’s always negative. After my chemical in February I’ve not had a sniff of anything - plus my ewcm seems to have stopped completely when I’ve always had quite a lot really regularly. I’m 40 and wondering if my body is saying it’s not okay to fall pregnant again 🤷‍♀️

I finally went to the doctors and mentioned this a couple of weeks ago and have bloods being taken next week and the week after, though opks still have a clear peak but the numbers on it are lower than they were the month I fell pregnant.

I am fortunate that I have two dc and a stepchild but I am starting to realise that I am unlikely to manage to have a child with my partner which is so hard after our tfmr in November.

@Downtherabbithole83 I just did a test and it was negative. I’m 14 DPO I think and my period is due tomorrow so I’m sure that I’m out for this month.
Good luck to you! Don’t give up hope, I’m 40 too and I firmly believe that there’s a chance for us. My best friend got pregnant with her first at 40 and texted me yesterday to say that she’s pregnant again at 42. A little success story to keep us going 🙂

Thanks @40andtrying1 and @Cinai - we’re not giving up so much as trying to be realistic. Something appears to have changed for me since my last chemical so just getting our heads around our situation so as not to be too disappointed.

I use the Premom app which attaches a numerical value to the lines on the IC tests. Not an exact science but has been useful in learning more about my cycle.

Sorry about the negative test @Cinai. Were you expecting to see a line or just hoping?

I was 50/50 in my expectations..I had sore boobs, was very tired and had vivid dreams this week which slightly got my hopes up, but yesterday I also felt that my period was coming, so I felt somewhat prepared to see a negative result.

Have hardly been here this cycle. How is everyone?

Have really switched off this cycle- barely had time to DTD (maybe twice I think) with work, business trips, and mostly having a bloody teenager at home for the summer 🙈🙈

However, have just checked apps (flow and dot) and both day period is due tomorrow! Been so off the ball it's completely snuck up on me. Don't feel like I am due on whatsoever. Boobs are less sore than normal, no PMS- completely took me by surprise that I'm due on, that how little symptoms I've had.

Had sex day 13 of cycle- normally 25/26 day cycle- flo app showing as 2 days outside of fertility window- so just can't see how it can be possible? Resisting going to get some FRER

@Rusticanella I think sometimes it's beneficial to switch off for a bit. TTC can really consume you and take over your life.
I'm around CD10 . I'm not sure if I'll bother with opks and temps in the lead up to ovulation this month. I might just wait until I feel ovulation happening to check and confirm it. I might possibly subject myself to another blood test since my progesterone came back low last month.
Got our letter through for ivf yesterday and are awaiting consent forms. We contemplated delaying it for a few months until we finished our clomid course but in the end figured it's probably time we moved on

@Downtherabbithole83 I had a chemical in Dec , and also noticed a big change in ecwm. I had absolutely nothing for months until last cycle when I started having loads again. My periods were quite messed up after my chemical too , super light and short and I was worried I was going into peri or something.
Things seem like they are returning to normality slightly so I wonder if it could just be a prolonged hormonal thing

Well, officially day 25 and the day my period would start, but nothing yet....you just know as soon as I go to buy a test it will show up.

Anyone else have a short cycle and can give me some indication of whether at CD13 it would be possible to conceive? Feel like I'd like to know before testing. Flo app says unlikely but Dot up says high chance (which I didn't notice until today as normally only log on Flo) so bloody confused.

@ThesisthenaViva welcome :) I'm trying for my first also, so your not alone. Honestly, I'm dreading the thought of ivf. I was really hoping it wouldn't come to it.
The emotional side terrifies me more than the physical.

I have short cycles- 25/26 days. I conceived back in May (early loss) and it was on day 17. I know this for certain as my husband was in and out of the country and we only dtd once that month.

@MK85 I totally get you. It's like another journey within another journey. I've heard stories of women falling pregnant soon before they start IVF...so let's remain hopeful eh?

@MK85 @ThesisthenaViva I have heard that a lot, people conceiving just before starting IVF! Fingers crossed for you both

So did a test. Was negative- but was a digital one as that's all I had. Not sure I'm totally out yet, but looking more likely.

Weird that after my tfmr my cycles settled back to normal so quickly and then since my chemical it’s been weird - I’ve definitely noticed a chance in my periods too (shorter and lighter) so 🤞 you’re right and things will go back to normal. Had my blood test yesterday so will be interesting to see what the results of that are.

I’ll be on holiday during my next fertile period so have decided no opks and to just not worry about it for this month. We’re only giving it until Xmas though so feels like maybe we’re out.

Hope you’re feeling okay about the ivf - many of my friends have had success going that route so I have everything crossed for you.

Sorry to hear that @Rusticanella - it’s so hard when the signs seem to show it could be a positive and then nothing shows on the test.

My period is due end of the week and I’m already having some period-type pains which has been a sign for me in the past but I don’t have my other signs so know that it’s going to be another miss this month but there’s still a part of me that wants to hope.

Hey all! Just checking in as I haven't posted for a while. On cycle 3 after my MMC and feeling a lot better in myself (back to normal) not feeling as many "symptoms" as last month which in my experience is a good thing. I hope everyone is doing ok. Only at 6dpo and already poas 🙈 would like to fall before the end of the year but trying not to put too much pressure on myself right now. Fingers crossed to all of my tww sisters xx
