I thought I’d create this thread if anyone wants to jump on.

I have a little boy who was 2 in April 💖

we decided in March to start trying for baby #2 and we were delighted to get pregnant that same month! Unfortunately we lost the baby at the end of April at 6w 4d

The MC is completed and I have taken an OPK this morning which looks to be really high. Not quite peak but definitely high which is just great that I’m ovulating again! I didn’t know what would happen. We both feel ready to try again this month so will be going for it.

@Jadeypie I was too afraid to do a test this morn😕. I don't know what's come over me. I was dying to test from 5dpo got the faint line on days 9&10 but feel like I want to wait another day or 2 to test again so if it's there i'm definitely sure. AF was due today according to app but it's only a 26 day cycle since now my MMC so will test again in a day or 2 and hopefully allow myself to get excited then🙏. I think the fear kicked in big time too, I honestly think I have some ptsd after my MMC in March. Im terrified to go back to the epau 😕

Fair play to you for not doing ovulation tests and just listening to your own body, I do agree they can be another thing to obsess over. I have no will power like that and was sometimes doing 3 or 4 a day in case I missed a high reading 🙈

@Sez281 that's why your holding off because anxiety has kicked in just give yourself a few days like you said and do one when you feel ready!

PTSD is actually very common a few months after a loss I suppose we just try and bury it hence why it jumps on you down the line! Hang in there sending you hugs 🥰

I'm using the fact of going back to the epu as a comfort I would rather have the early scans than wait if that makes sense

May be quite personal but does anyone here get positive LH tests but not get much if any EWCM?

@Jadeypie yeah I know what you mean, if it is confirmed then it'll be good to get seen at early stage and have an idea what's happening....I just spent a lot of time there for my last one which resulted in medical management then emergency surgical management a week later. Even driving by the place makes me feel emotional 😢 But yeah there's no point in worrying as I know either way there's nothing I can do and I will be in the best place 🙏

Hi @Strawb28 , I don’t think anything is too personal on these threads, that’s why I love them 😀
I don’t think I get loads, but enough that I notice it.
When I was ttc #1 I used to drink grapefruit juice as it is meant to be good for increasing it. I did not enjoy it but it done the job.

How many dpo are you now?

@Strawb28 I don't think I get as much as I ust to or I just don't notice it as much

@Sez281 I understand I was there for medical management for about four weeks nightmare it was. But here we are and all these positive outcomes will come for us too xx

@Jadeypie it's horrible isn't it 🥴 I know everyone here has similar stories so we're all in the same boat which is so comforting as so many others don't understand 💔

I didn't test first thing this morning as I woke up at 6am bursting and went to the toilet without thinking 🙈😂 I'm so sure it's a BFP now that I'm going to do one in a couple of hours. I didn't find out until 5w last time as we weren't actively ttc and I was sure I'd had AF the week before I found out, I only did a test that time as I noticed some spotting and found it strange. My symptoms didn't start until 6w on that one but they're so strong now (my breast pain is waking me up 🥴) that I know its definitely positive. I'll test later to confirm then tell my DP 😊 Flying out on hols today so I'll make doc appointment for the day after I come home 🤞🙏

@Sez281 oh it really does sound promising! you will have to keep us updated! I'm fully invested haha And I hope you have a lovely holiday 🥰

Thank you @xxcxdonxx and @Jadeypie i do get positive LH tests but I defo dont see much EWCM and I hear of women having lots!! It's a definite concern but I've a call back from my Dr on July 19th so will be able to ask more then

I’m fighting sleeping round the clock, my god it’s like I’ve been sedated, I can’t rem a time where I’d energy for anything

@Strawb28 same, I don’t get much, small bit that I notice when I wipe but that’s about it.

So I'm 8dpo today guys, I had some pink when I wiped today during one toilet visit and nothing since and I've taken a LH test as I've seen some people say they get darker if you a pregnant and its looking quite dark in terms of the time of the month. I'll spare yous the tissue pic but I've attached the lh test. Any thoughts??

Ooh @Strawb28 I’ve read that too and I’m sure I’ve used a LH test as a pregnancy test in the past.
No real advice but I guess all you can really do is wait and re-test!

I've had a busy week with a family wedding and had folk staying with us so I'm struggling to catch up on the threads!
@Sez281 keep us updated if you test again in the morning, keeping fingers crossed for you.

I relate to the anxiety around revisiting epau - I had my booking bloods done at the local midwife clinic yesterday and last time I was there was booking bloods for the pregnancy I lost. It was already making me feel emotional being in the waiting room, remembering how hopeful and excited I was last time, then it was the same nurse. She said 'didn't I see you not long ago?' And I started crying. She was so lovely though, we had a great conversation that was quite therapeutic.
Even though I'm pregnant again I'm still dealing with these emotions, even the layer of sadness that I just can't allow myself to be hopeful this time. Totally get it that others are feeling the same way especially if you spent a long time in hospital with medical management 😪

@Strawb28 That might indeed be promising! When will you do a pregnancy test?

@Hankthehonk aw that's so poignant about your nurse. Glad you had a nice chat with her 💕 and thanks, I'm doing ok. I think I dealt with the negative emotions while the pms was bad so by the time AF arrived I was able to be more philosophical. Just enjoying a few days break from the madness before I got fertile week and tww once more... Haha.

@xxcxdonxx and @Hankthehonk thank you for the input. My AF isn't actually due for 6 more days which is why I thought the pink was very weird I would usually get brown spotting a few days before but never pink! I will probably test with a frer on Sunday when I'm 11dpo and 4 days away from AF! X

@Hankthehonk aww even reading that experience has me welling up 😢The nurse sounds lovely. God love them it must be such a tough job, but then so rewarding also with stories like yours 💓
@Strawb28 not to get your hopes up too much but yeah in Feb when I tested after spotting I put LH one in along with hcg and it had a very strong line but really don't know if it's connected. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

My BFP is a little darker again but I'm still not getting my hopes up too much. Going to wait another few days before I call doc. Nothing I can do on holidays anyway for the next 10 days 🙈 I Also noticed that my breasts weren't as sore this morn which now has me worried but I could just be over thinking everything 🥴

Just been trying to catch up on everyone's journey lol so many updates!

AF finally arrived for me yesterday after 9 weeks since MC. I feel a little relieved and almost excited to start again! Xx

Thank you @Sez281 i have to admit my hopes are already a wee bit up but I am also very realistic and have had my hopes up before!! Lol. Will keep you all updated ❤️
