1DPO - Anyone want to wait with me ☺

Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

@xLJ1990x thanks you! I'd try hold out until 9DPO if you can but I totally understand the urge.

@BABYPRAYING i find it quite stressful when you're staring at it and deciding if it is a bfp or bfn. Hoping that if I wait it will be just clear what it is either way

It's exactly a week til AF should come so I'm trying to limit myself to one test between now and then! Did one yesterday (8dpo) which was a BFN

Good plan! I told myself two years the first time so was pleased after 3 months but you just never know! Someone on another thread just found out she's pregnant after one too 😊

Ah yes that's very true! And a good reason not to be disappointed if it takes us longer to conceive 😊 it's very difficult to time these things!

I'm now counting down my AF and psyching myself up to eat better once it ends! I've been enjoying comfort food 🙈

@happyclam I'm finding it sooo hard not to decide to just test before Wednesday.

Actually spent some time googling line progressions and saw quite a few bfn which turn into bfp later at 8 dpo so probably will hold off tomorrow.

@LeopardLover Comfort food sounds good! The morning I knew for sure it had been a chemical last month I just ate loads of sweet pastries for breakfast

@Kiwiburgh I find I get disheartened with a bfn too, even when early

Hey all, I'll be 8dpo tomorrow, won't be able to stop myself testing! 8 and 9 are so early to get a positive though!
I've been feeling nauseas and absolutely exhausted today. It's awful. Hope everyone's doing OK!

@xLJ1990x The problem is, I am all about the comfort food! But to give myself the best possible chance I need to quit it and go clean like I did with my son. I've also been having a fair few fizzy drinks recently which is so unlike me! I can feel the extra lbs 🙈 When will you be testing?

@BABYPRAYING You still have plenty of time to get that BFP. Someone on another thread had a negative in the morning and a positive in the afternoon... So a lot can change in a few hours!

@LeopardLover I'm supposed to hold out to Wednesday, but so tempted to test tomorrow. Rings still very tight on my finger, no sign of AF but feeling pretty normal. So no idea what to think! I stopped having fizzy drinks a while ago, just went off them. I've been drinking kombucha by remedy recently. They're delicious and naturally low sugar because they're fermented. You could try them if you like fizzy drinks?

It's quite hard to eat clean all the time. I had quite a lot of cake this weekend

@xLJ1990x If you have spare tests and it won't send you into a spiral, I vote you test! 🙏🏻 I totally forgot I used to order those by the case - they are so delicious. I need to start making my own kombucha tbh because that habit gets expensive. 🤤 I actually had a cake in a cafe today so clean eating is going well.

I don't normally drink fizzy unless I'm at a restaurant (I'll always pick kombucha if they have it) but it was my son's birthday party and we have a bunch of cans left over. I'll make husband take them to the garage tonight 😅

Thanks for the messages. I know it's still early and I can still get my BFP. You read so many getting them at 9-10DPO. I'm not going to lie I'm feeling pretty down at the moment. Last night I was in tears. Hope you all get BFP soon. Crossing my fingers for you all 🤞🏼✨❤️

@LeopardLover I bought some cheapies and looked at the leaflet and I thought they were early detection! But they're 25mIU ones. I have three early ones in total, the CB triple check one. Today I'm 8 dpo. I'll let you know if I do end up testing early!

Making your own kombucha could be amazing! I used to only have fizzy at a restaurant too, but then in my student days I went so little that I just got out of the habit. At least in the garage they're out of sight and out of mind :D

10dpo with a frer and BFN. I feel like there should be even the faintest of lines by now.

I know it's so disappointing but you're definitely still in with a chance, only a small number of people get BFP's on 10dpo 😊🤞

I'm so sorry to hear the negatives so far. It is quite early, with my pregnancies I got positives at dpo 11.
After I had a chemical, I started thinking that it is better to be negative than to lose a pregnancy. The body will know when the right time is. I really hope we all get our bfps soon, if not this cycle.

With both pregnancies, I had somewhat early symptoms, but I'm still hopeful. I'll do a test on dpo 11, as before that I had negatives.

I have no symptoms at all, I definitely feel down, but hopeful it will happen very soon 🤞

Yeah it's so difficult! I found this on Ava if it helps: "Yes. It’s not uncommon to get a negative pregnancy test at 10 DPO and still be pregnant. In an analysis of over 93,000 menstrual cycles, the fertility tracking app Fertility Friend found that only 10% of pregnancy charts showed a positive at 10 DPO."
