1DPO - Anyone want to wait with me ☺

Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

Approx 10-12dpo, alot of ewcm when wiping and some aches in belly but I usually over think every little twinge this time in my cycle in the hope its good news.
Did a 6 day before missed period test, mainly just to manage expectations.. said results to appear within 10 mins. This line started to appear on the 10th minute. Please tell me what what think. I am being realistic and trying not to get hopes up. Xx

@Flowers213 well theres definitely a line. It's quite thin though....so you have any other test's available?

@LeopardLover this is my 4th cycle and last month I had a chemical. Ovulated quite quickly after it compared to my normal cycles!

Last month I just assumed any sensation in my belly was wind to try not to get hopes up 😂 I do remember eating like a horse a few days before the bfp though. Decided to just keep trying straight away.

Had some slight cramping today and just trying to ignore

@BABYPRAYING I don't have any other brands, this test was taken this evening I will do another one tomorrow with FMU. Trying not to get my hopes up. Your right the line is clear and has colour but it is thin.

The 10th minute still counts as 10 mins... Doesn't it!? Eeeek! I vote you try and buy another test tomorrow / order one from Amazon. Crossing my fingers for you!

@xLJ1990x Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your chemical! 😔 It's good you ovulated quite quickly though so fingers crossed for you! I have heard about lots of CM being a sign. I don't remember much about last time. I just know since having my son I have way more in general 🙈

Slight cramping sounds positive to me!! 🙏🏻 I have IBS so can't even use that as a reliable symptom 😅

@LeopardLover tbh I think I might have more CM than usual as well... It's just hard to be sure! Just never sure whether it could also be wishful thinking.

It makes sense that to know more with progressive pregnancies though. Before ttc I never realised how much it can consume your thoughts. Perpetual waiting. For ovulation, for the tww. And then after pregnancies for the baby I guess 😂

@xLJ1990x I feel like the waiting never ends haha! I remember waiting for 8 weeks, then 12 weeks, then 20 weeks, then 24... I probably relaxed after 24 (higher chance of survival if born early). Then they arrive and there are all the milestones 😅

@LeopardLover I'd not even thought about the waiting to see if it sticks when it happens again! According to what I read the chances of it happening a second time are the same as the first.

Read a story online where one woman didn't let herself celebrate the second bfp after a chemical and then regretted it because it worked out.

Last time I mentioned it to maybe 3 friends. Was so glad I didn't tell more people! Did you wait before telling people with you son?

@BABYPRAYING hope you still have a good day anyway. Early testing feels like a blessing and a curse, because you never know if it is too early or it didn't happen this month.

I do find it satisfies the 'what if?' feeling a bit though. When are you planning to test again?

Morning ladies! 10dpo the longest I've had in 14 months of trying normally only make it too 8! Of course I peed on a stick this morning and negative but I have read that the rapid response need a lot more hog 💁🤞🏻 still crampy and brown discharge never had this before?? Do we reckon it's af coming?

@xLJ1990x thanks lovely. Yes I think I feel better testing rather than not. It starts to bother me until 10-12DPO when it's negative and you just feel like giving up.

I'll probably test everyday now until AF. Got loads of internet cheapies to Lee me entertained so why not 🤣

I'm just having a big cuddle with my border collie to get the day started 🥰

@BABYPRAYING A cuddle with your collie sounds like a great start to the day! 7DPO is early so still plenty of time to get a positive 🙏🏻 and it's good testing makes you feel better! I was actually going to test with a cheapie this morning but I forgot and used that FMU up 😅

@xLJ1990x I've been on threads where women have had chemical pregnancies then in the next few cycles had a successful pregnancy! It's a good sign you can get pregnant too. 🩷 I can understand that. We had a lockdown baby so I had the luxury of not seeing anyone! So we told family at 13 weeks and everyone else at 20+. I think I told work at about 22 weeks 🤣 this time I'll probably tell everyone after a private 8 week scan. I want to celebrate early and get lots of support this time! X

@Bethpotter111 10 DPO is still early so definitely doesn't rule you out! I was really crampy before my BFP. Brown discharge is normally implantation I think - could you have ovulated a little later? Crossing my fingers!

Ahh ladies, the wait is killing me.
Also no symptoms, even tiredness is gone today. What is going on?! I'm almost resigning at dpo4 😅

@LeopardLover love the name! How old is your little one? Mine is 22 months and sleep has been quite bad since 20m...

Hey guys! What a long week at work eek. We had the school inspectors in it was very stressful but all went well thankfully 😴😅. I'm 5dpo today, not much going on. I did another test, obviously BFN. I wasted a FRER... What is wrong with me?! 😅😂😂 Hope you're all good!

@Pinkmoon23 bless you. Time to relax for a long weekend! I took today as holiday so extra long weekend 😊 7DPO for me. BFN this morning but yesterday and today had really dull cramps/ache. Also yesterday I had twinges/spasms x

Unfortunately I think af is here :( only when I wipe but very pink and heavier crampy ah well always next month off to wine and off to centre parcs Monday so something to look forward too!

@LeopardLover I'm hoping it will be the same for me. Two of my friends who I had told both knew someone separately who it was the very next month. I so hope that is the case for me! My hopes are up because this time last month my fingers swelled so my wedding ring was tighter than usual and it happened again today. Was it still lockdown when you had your son?
