1DPO - Anyone want to wait with me ☺

Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

I'm so sorry @Kiwiburgh 😟 Really hope you're OK. Testing early can be so troublesome but it's so hard not to. Thinking of you x

I'm in a similar boat to you, 11dpo and bfn. AF due Sunday or Monday I reckon. Feeling out 😭

@Kiwiburgh Thank you! Think I'll test again Saturday and Monday then give it a rest. Last time it was all over by the Sunday - and I ovulated on the same day of the week as this month.

@Kiwiburgh Thank you ❤️ I'm 11pdo and I know it could still show up later but honestly I'm feeling like my period is going to come any minute now. Ughh the last few days before AF feel like decades 😩😩

@Pinkmoon23 Yup, same here! Some pregnancies don't show up as positive until 14dpo+ so there's still a glimmer of hope for us

I got a bfp on Monday! Very faint but definitely there on a FRER. Then tested again today and much stronger, +13dpo today! Am in total shock

How did the frer look today? Do you have a photo to share?

I'm really tempted to poas tomorrow, dpo 11, but feel like I'm out this cycle, so don't want to go into a bad cycle of testing. Maybe saturday when I'm dpo 12 is better... I wish I could just forget about it until af is due Sunday or Monday but it's really hard to.

@PeacefulD I know what you mean about the cycle of testing. Once I start I won't stop 🙈 try and wait as long as you can. I'm having such a time guessing if my lines are dark enough because I tested too early.its easier said than done though

@Kiwiburgh It was really bad when I had my chemical, all consuming, my mental health really took a dip. I've been calmer since, just assuming I'm not pregnant, then at least it'll be a pleasant surprise. Easier said than done, still quite consuming, googling and thinking about it. Testing early is just not worth it since that month, though I've tried to have something positive to look forward to after due date like dinner out or cinema, so that I can get there without poas and celebrate if positive

@PeacefulD thank you! Feels very weird.. desperate to tell everyone I know but decided we wouldn't until 10/12 weeks!

First photo is Monday and second is todays (although this is a photo taken now of the test I took this morning so it's a bit old)

@happyclam Wow 13 dpo is really strong, fx all goes well. Are you thinking of doing early scan or waiting till week 12?

@PeacefulD ooh is that an option? I have no idea, I'm a first timer... tbh I've found everything really unhelpful. I called the dr but they pointed me to a self referral for the midwives, and I had to do that online and couldn't speak to anyone.. had to fill in an online form and I'd hear back for a first appointment at 8 weeks?

How's everyone feeling this evening? I'm SUPER bloated today, I look about 4 months pregnant. Boobs are still a bit tender, I thought pms symptoms were disappearing but I still feel pretty emotional today. I feel like I've had so many textbook "symptoms" this cycle. Even down to getting a cold! Tomorrow will be 12dpo for me and if I don't get a 2nd line I think I'll stop testing. Really hoping and praying tomorrow will be our bfp but I have very little hope.

It's true, I've been obsessively googling about BFP's after 11dpo and there's so many examples. Really keeping my fingers crossed but I'm not holding out hope for myself 😭

@Pinkmoon23 I'm feeling so nauseous! I was gagging this morning when changing the little ones nappy! My entire search history lately has been " bfp after 10 days, bfp after 11 days" and so on

That sounds right! anything to do with pregnancy will be through the midwife, the first step does take a while to book, but once 8 weeks pass it'll be easier to reach out directly to midwife. During covid, this whole process was arduous but I'm sure it's better now

I think if you want, you can do an early scan, but that might have to be privately if there are no risk factors (previous pregnancies). You might just prefer to wait, it's personal choice

Tried the clear blue digital again today and got a positive yay. was a negative 2 days ago ( it's the 6 days early one though so not as sensative)
The bottom frer also today.
Going to try and not test tomorrow, I prefer to see the 48hr progression. Hopefully I don't give in 😅
