1DPO - Anyone want to wait with me ☺

Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

@BABYPRAYING it sort of is fmu, it's 0415 here and I was dying to pee so thought I'd take another test. Essentially it was a 8 hour hold 😔

I'll take another one tomorrow morning and hope for the best.

I do love appletiser. I avoided the office fridge today so no fizz for me! I love the thought of fizzy vimto. Sorry you were feeling grumpy yesterday, although good food and TV sounds like the perfect antidote. I really want to watch the new Bridgerton! Now that it's dried it's maybe the same colour. I should probably take my own advise and give it the 48 hours to increase.

I don't think there's much difference to be honest. I wouldn't worry!

@Kiwiburgh they look the same to me! Definitely a line there, try not to worry (easier said than done I know 😟) and retest, really keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞😊

Thanks guys, I'm obsessing and can't help myself testing and googling so this thread is helping me keep my sanity! I'm not managing much of a hold as I'm peeing so frequently at the moment. I'll retest tomorrow 11dpo and I'm reeeeeally hoping I'll get a proper line!

Does anyone know how long after implantation Hcg typically becomes high enough to get a BFP? Apparently average day of implantation is 9dpo I've read.

@LeopardLover office drinks can be a slippery slope! Where I worked once had a coffee machine which made nice lattes. I ended up having 3 or 4 a day! It's still there, and light. Felt anxious about it a couple of times but calm again now.

@Pinkmoon23 I'm not really sure but think it might vary between women and between pregnancies. It is soooo hard not to google constantly!

@Pinkmoon23 I google like a crazy person too. From what I've read average implantation day is 9dpo the most successful implantation seems to be between 6-10 dpo.

Google also on average tells me it takes 48-72 hrs for hcg to double but as @xLJ1990x says everyone seems to be different. I've seen some progression tests with huge differences in 24hrs, others little.

@Kiwiburgh I've seen that too. Think I'm still going to test again tomorrow, but I think after a lines where it is less faint I'll try to relax and stop testing. My line has definitely dried blue at least

Everything I've read says after 12DPO. But I guess it depends when you implant! I try to wait until after 12DPO but I understand why people test early. I like to enjoy thinking I could be pregnant even if I'm not for as long as possible 😅

@xLJ1990x We have one of those too! Thankfully I don't drink coffee so that isn't much of a pull 😉 Did I recommend the Fertility Homeopath to you? She says it can be perfectly normal to spot for a few days! I might watch some of her videos now actually 😅 I'm feeling good, it's CD9 so I'll start secretly peeing on OPKs on Saturday!

I'm starting to feel really out this month 😟. My pms mood swing, grumpy, emotionally sensitive feelings are subsiding this evening, which usually happens around 10dpo. I've read pms symptoms stopping around 10dpo usually indicates pregesterone lowering and not raising. Meh. It's a guessing game at this point until AF arrives or I get a BFP but not feeling very positive.

That makes sense! I know what you mean, I like being in the "I might be pregnant" bubble before I get a BFN 😭
