Hey,

just thought I’d start a thread for those in their TWW.
I’m 1DPO - looking for people to chat to and just keep each other company as title states.

last month I was super patient during my TWW and fully waited until 12DPO and tested once.
I just have a feeling this month I’m going to be super impatient and need people to tell me off and not test early lol.

if you’re joining, what DPO are you and any symptoms?

hahahaa! 😂 boots didn't have their early response ones in although the stock checker online said they had them. But I got other ones and the strips.
I legit did use one of each just now to make sure they where working 😂 one seemed stark negative but the strip looked like it had a shadow but I'm not sure if it was an evap line but couldn't pick it up on camera. So now I'm more confused & just wanting FMU tomorrow! I've got a lie in tomorrow morning because I'm off work but you can guarantee I'll be on tomorrow around 11:30 with my results to update you 😂😂😂

so tomorrows tests line up will be;
FRER
Clearblue digital 6 days early
a boots cheape stick
boots cheapie strip
early test cheapie strip

if there’s no BFP on any of those tomorrow I give up. 😂

@Nmmck93 Oh at least you’re stocked up now though! Can’t believe we thought we’d just not test, who even are we 😂

Oh good! If there is no update past 11:30, I will be tagging you with spam tags for updates hahaha. I will also do my fmu tomorrow and be straight on here to update. I just have the two I’ve ordered, no doubt all five strips will be used to make sure haha.

Oh well it’s funny you say about the shadow, as I swore I saw the faintest of shadow lines on mine today too, but the more I looked at it, the more I think I was just making it up. Should have seen me, probably looked at it in every different lighting aspect of my whole house, squinting, not squinting, holding up to the sunlight, held it up to the fish tank light, different filter on my phone, horrific 😂🫣

@DHB We were just lying to ourselves 😂 but least I’ve got a range now to work with tomorrow; I’m going to home bargains after work so maybe I’ll pick some more then aswell 😂

omg that was literally me running around checking natural light, the flash on my phone, taking a picture and zooming in. We’re just driving ourselves crazy.

ill update here once I stare at the tests long enough to decide if I see anything or not 😂 and I will upload the results for advice lol.

@Nmmck93 Oh absolutely, there was never any realistic chance of us not buying more tests and not testing them. Boots honestly must seem my name and be like oh for christ sake woman. The last few times, it’s been the same lady too hahaha, so this time I’ve ordered to collect from another store HA.

Yes please do!! I’ll do the same and if anyone else agrees there is a faint line, that’s it, I’m sealed on that 🫣

@DHB omg same! The same lady served me 3 times this week; she must think I'm nuts buying this many but I have no self control & I think she's learned that.

I already can’t wait to wake up tomorrow and wee, I might try pot pissing this time, and then I can dip all the little buggers in and do lots of tests 🫣

Oh I only ever do dip testing lol. I use a lil plastic shot glass. At this rate I'm gunna get myself a personalised one made. I carry one around in my bag aswell incase I'm not home when I need to my evening ovulation tests during my fertile week lol.

Hi there. I'm ttc no 1 and only cycle 2 9dpo at the moment. Hoping to hold out until af late as I did a ridiculous amount of testing last time with a faint line to start with which then wasn't there on subsequent days. Drove myself crazy.

A friend of mine has only ever done 2 pregnancy tests in her life and both were positive as she waited until af was properly late bath times. I think she's an alien or something - can't understand her there at all!!

Quick question af is due tomorrow, temps have already dropped and I had some cramping today but I started getting sharp stabbing pains in my uterus to the point where they’re really painfull. Could there be an underlying cause or am I just paranoid.

i’m nearly 100% sure that I’m out, went to the toilet and there was blood on my pad so I’m assuming that’s her starting but will update fully tomorrow.

@DHB I will still be dectective on your tests tomorrow so don’t forget to send them.

I'm showing all signs of AF arriving as scheduled on Saturday. My wine is already in the fridge and I've just treated myself to some brie cheese also ready for the weekend. Might as well have something to look forward to lol. Though spoke to husband about trying for next month and the wedding clash but he's confident we can work around it between us if it was our month

@Nmmck93 Nooooooooo, I hope AF didn’t come?!

I’m pretty certain I’m out and just waiting for AF to come. Another early test and a cheap strip test this morning with fmu and completely negative, it’d have shown up by now, especially on the early detection 😢

I don’t have any symptoms whatsoever and don’t feel pregnant, also don’t feel like AF is coming so maybe I’m just broken this month.

Im new here and just had my first iui im day 4 days after. I already want to test but am holding out as i know it would be BFN and dampen my spirts. Ive already bought cheap tests 😅. Test day is 16th according to clinic. Its soo far away. Anyone near that date too

I hate the first af day waiting at what time she’ll arrive hoping it won’t be in the middle of doing anything important.

@DHB yeah AF arrived yesterday evening and has me in immense pain. Typical!

oooh I don’t see nothing on those tests but don’t put yourself out yet. Not out until AF shows.

@Nmmck93 Oh what a cow, that is so frustrating :( Sending you all the baby dust in the world for this month though, you’ll have to keep me updated!

I will keep you posted on how mine is going but honestly, I don’t even know for definite when I ovulated as after the MC in March, my cycle was 5 weeks from first bleed to next period, but then the pink discharge and cramps on CD14-15 made me think I must have ovulated then, or maybe I didn’t at all 😩 ugh.

AF has pretty much turned up. Drowned my sorrows with a large glass of wine this evening with a friend . Onto a new cycle for me.

Hello to everyone here, this is my third tww and I was wondering what what you ladies do to survive this and make it easier, also I only had a chance of intercourse on day 11 of my cycle as my partner must have injured my cervix because I started bleeding profusely straight after and trying again this month was not a possibility so I have a question in case anyone has had a similar experience, will the sperm be flushed out with the blood or do I have a change of conception? This was on Monday this week, bleeding lasted all night and reduced the next day, still a bit sore but no more bleeding

just checking in, any BFP or did ugly AF show her face.

my AF is at the tail end so I’m going be starting a new cycle & going to start taking Macca root to see if that helps.

anyone going to try anything different this month?

@Nmmck93 AF still not here for me :( But all my tests have been big fat negatives so maybe I’ve got a funny cycle, or I didn’t ovulate when I thought I did, who knows! A waiting game for me :(
