Ovulation 17th or 18th April, TWW

I’m ovulating today or tomorrow and wondered if anyone wanted to do the TWW with me?

TTC number 3
Cycle number 1
33 years old
My first with my partner who has low sperm morphology and I’m 10 years older than the last time I was pregnant!

I’m excited and nervous, this may be a long TTC journey for us but I’m trying to stay positive.

I’m a couple of days ahead of you (OV 15/16th) but I’ll join you!

36, TTC #4, cycle 2

I’m not holding out much hope for this month - we didn’t manage to have sex much after OV as DH was ill. Also not convinced I’ve ovulated this month - usually I feel it really strongly but nothing this month.

It’s 4 years since we conceived DC3, and I’m
sure my egg quality has plummeted since then!

Joining you! I'm a little ahead, OV - 14th, cycle 1. TTC our second but with a 9year age gap. I've been pregnant twice and both times it happened straight away but I'm a lot older now at almost 37.

So pleased to have company! And a fair few with quite a big age gap as well — my DC are 9 and 10.

I think I can already feel my boobs and I might not have even ovulated yet. I think the TWW may drive me a little crazy.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter we’re hoping to go for number 4 after this one so all being well I’ll be trying for number 4 in similar circumstances to you. I hope you still have some chance this month.

@Tdcp same age gap 🙂. I’m hoping it happens quickly for you again — if it’s not too personal, how long ago were you last pregnant?

@Mismatc I was last pregnant 6.5 years ago. I had horrendous HG and ended up having a termination because I lost 3 stone in 2.5 months and my organs started failing. The hospital said I was doing it to myself because all I needed to do was "drink more water" and halved my medication and sent me home (had 6 admissions by this point). It's taken me a long time to accept what happened but I am really hoping it doesn't happen again. Though now DD is a lot older it will be a lot easier than having a toddler / hg and countless hospital stays.

Ovulation dates are the 19th for me. I’m hoping I can break that egg this month. Also had hg in previous pregnancy. Lockdown baby. I’m hoping for an easier pregnancy this time but also hoping to fall pregnant quickly. I hate the tww it feels like it drags so much and then it’s the whole waiting to see if you are pregnant or the disappointment of af. Good luck to all

@Mismatc hello! Thank you. We are ttc# 3 this time so I’m glad to have company with others also on to number three. But my age gaps are smaller. My youngest just turned two.

The TWW sends me a bit loopy. my flo app says to test may 3rd! So I’m hiding my tests until then.

@Tdcp Horrible what happened to you, I had severe HG last year March which ended up in hospital stay not to long after I had a miscarriage.
I am so anxious because I had a similar experience with my 6 year old.

do you perhaps remember the meds you given?

@NayNay03 I'm so sorry, it's so awful and so stressful isn't it. I had it with my first as well but it was more nausea based, I couldn't lay down in bed for about 4 months because everything would spin. I'm dreading it happening again but I'm trying to be positive. I was on Ondensetron and one beginning with an M?

@Tdcp oh my goodness, what a horrendous experience. I wonder, were you given steroids? HG is just awful and can be so invalidated. I hope you don’t have it again at all but if you do, that you have more compassionate care.

@Holly03 TWW is so slow but I’ve quite enjoyed my day at work today and not thought about it all that much, long May it continue!

As for me 1dpo/ day of ovulation and I’m actually okay! Not too impatient yet and had a productive day at work. Hopefully I can keep my mind on the real world and not obsessing over TTC.

@Mismatc I’m similar timing and I’m trying not to get overexcited or impatient this cycle. Hoping to stay busy and productive with life the next two weeks x

I'm 7DPO and I have had horrendous cramps and bloating, my breasts are so sore as well which was the first symptom with DD. Negative test though at the moment (couldn't help myself)

@Tdcp Haha, we all do it! Hopefully you get a BFP in just a few days.

My first two DC I “knew” really early that I was pregnant and I was right. However, I’ve had times in the intervening years where I felt convinced I was pregnant and I definitely wasn’t so I no longer trust myself 😂

Sorry, @Catchafallingstar7 I missed your message. I’m still feeling quite chilled, I imagine it will get more tough if I start noticing symptoms and thinking a lot into them. What strategies do you have to stop yourself getting too impatient or overexcited? I think I am just a slave to my emotions with no control

@Mismatc hi there ! I wish I could offer some good advice but currently I’m thinking of hiding the tests I have in the house and I’m only 6dpo 😂😱 ridiculous isn’t it. I tell myself I’ll wait til my missed af but I don’t know why I can’t stop symptom spotting ahh well. Better to be hopeful and excited at this stage I guess xxx

@Tdcp same here! Weird cramps on one side only and my uterus just feels quite obvious. Boobs are okay but my boobs did nothing apart from get massive in my previous pregnancies anyway. Desperate to test but I know it’s way too early x x x

How’s everyone doing? I think I’m 6dpo today so still a while off being able to test.

Last month I was spotting every single ‘symptom’ and was convinced I was pregnant when I wasn’t, so this month I’m ignoring anything my body might be doing!

Hello! I’m 5dpo and don’t feel pregnant at all. I don’t think it’s my month and I feel okay about that which is progress for me. Hopefully, I can be patient and accept whatever this journey has in store. My partner has been referred for semen analysis again, we will see how long that takes and what the results are. Maybe get a puppy if it starts taking a very long time to conceive, haha.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter how many dpo do you usually start testing?

@Mismatc last month I started way too early (7/8 dpo) which just led to loads of disappointment as I was convinced I was pregnant. This time I’m trying to wait it out until 10/11 dpo but I really don’t feel this is our month (and I’m ok with that) so I think it’ll be easier to wait. 7dpo today and no desire to POAS yet!

I'm 9dpo now and still negative (I know it's early..) dp has told me yesterday that he's only done this for me and he doesn't really want another child. I feel devastated, my head is such a mess. I was so excited at the thought and now it's all ruined.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter I’m 6dpo and no desire yet, I think I will test as I approach AF but I won’t be disappointed with a negative.

@Tdcp I’m so sorry to hear that, how are you feeling? I can’t imagine how devastating that is after thinking you together wanted the shared future of another baby.

when is you af due?

I caved and tested this morning (9dpo). Negative. Will try to hold off until 11dpo to test again!

@Mismatc I'm not really sure how I feel, one minute I'm okay and the next I'm sad again. I think it was just that he went ahead and 'decided' and then said he didn't actually want this. Don't mess with me like that you know! I'm 10 dpo now and still negative so that's something I guess.

@NayNay03 AF is due 02/05. I’m 7dpo and don’t feel pregnant, I’m fairly sure I remember really knowing I was pregnant with my first two DC. I’m going to check with my DP tonight whether he has filled in his referral form for his sperm analysis.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter 9dpo isn’t too bad to start POAS! I really hope it was just too early for you.

@Tdcp I can only imagine how that feels. It would have been so much kinder to be honest from the outset although maybe he thought he was doing the right thing or being nice to go along with it. It’s such a shame because to be excited and start the TTC journey and have that taken away must be heartbreaking.
