Ovulation 17th or 18th April, TWW

I’m ovulating today or tomorrow and wondered if anyone wanted to do the TWW with me?

TTC number 3
Cycle number 1
33 years old
My first with my partner who has low sperm morphology and I’m 10 years older than the last time I was pregnant!

I’m excited and nervous, this may be a long TTC journey for us but I’m trying to stay positive.

Hi all how are we doing?

AF due 1/5 and not getting the feeling I’m pregnant this month. whilst I have loads of symptoms, if you Google them it says they are also symptoms of AF coming so just feeling like I want to fast forward to next month and try again! I started testing at 8dpo and all bfn so far.

im thinking I might try pre-seed next month?Anyone tried it?

@Catchafallingstar7 I’m okay! I’m 8dpo and feel slight symptoms in my boobs but I think these are probably normal AF symptoms that I have more awareness of. I haven’t tested yet and think it will be bfn this month.

That said, I probably will still test because I don’t get disappointed by bfn — for me, that is the expected result and a bfp would be exciting. Not testing could leave that bit of hope that it might be bfp, testing and getting bfn makes me feel in control. I seem to be a little different in that respect!

You have inspired me, I might try pressed as well.

@Mismatc ive heard that before! I know some women that find it easier to accept if they see the bfn sooner (before they see af) So I can understand.

i wish I could adapt my mindset to not expecting bfp! Unfortunately I convince myself all the time. Urgh :(

this month I Just started asking DH to try zinc and new vits. Also kindly asked him to STOP using the jacuzzi in the gym and then I think pre-seed will be the next think I try. Xx

I tested this morning 9DPO, definite negative. I think I’m feeling my normal premenstrual self but just paying more attention to my body, I’m not feeling pregnant. I’ll keep testing each day until AF comes.

@Catchafallingstar7 Haha, I hope he is able to give up his jacuzzi time. I’m hoping my DP can have his next sperm analysis soon and we can get a bit more information.

11dpo and BFN here. I’m almost certain I’m out this month, but will keep testing. I’ve mentally moved on to May (cycle #3) already.

I've been off work today with horrendous nausea. 1 more day until af is due to appear!

@Mismatc I was negative with a clearblue this morning. I'm relieved and disappointed at the same time! I hope you're doing okay!

AF arrived early today so I’m definitely out for this month!

@Tdcp yeah, I can only imagine how complicated that is for you.

11dpo here and bfn. Feeling symptoms of af coming already so feeling out and mentally moving on to cycle three.

knowing me I will keep testing until Sunday when af is due to arrive.

think I’m going to switch it up a bit more next month.

I’m bfn at 11DPO, even took a FRER this morning. I feel slightly sore boobs but I think that must be my normal af symptoms that I’m paying extra attention to. I’m due af on Tuesday and then on to next month!

No testing for me over the weekend as me and DP are spending it with different people and if it did become positive he doesn’t want to miss out on sharing that moment. I’ll test again Sunday evening/ Monday morning. Expecting bfn and af on Tuesday.

@Mismatc Well af arrived three days before expected! What on earth. Never had a cycle early before. Late sometimes but never early. It’s definitely full af though. BFN before work then had code red at work. Annoying… that means I’ve just had a 26 day cycle. Weird!!!

going to try SMEP a little bit more focused if we can. Although DH is a shift worker 😂 so not always easy. No caffeine. No alcohol. Still no hot tubs for husband 😂 and I’m ordering pre-seed 🫣 never tried it before.

not tried this before. But thought might just give it a cycle throwing everything at it I can. Then go back to being slightly more relaxed if it doesn’t work.

So, af was due today and no sign. The nausea is getting worse though, I was sent home from work today after 2 days off. Negative test still so it could be a coincidence but with the last 2 pregnancies I was being sick / nauseous around 1-2 weeks before a positive. Gah!

On another note, dp has apologised. He said he's with me no matter what happens.

@Catchafallingstar7 good luck with SMEP! I think we could either go more that way or just be super relaxed and see what happens. Not sure yet. My DP has been under some stress to do with work over the last week or so so I’m not sure it’s right to choose something which puts pressure on us.

@Tdcp I’m really happy to hear that you feel supported now, regardless of what happens. That’s such a lovely resolution after what must have been a horrendous week. Was it after af was due that you got bfps before?

I’ve not tested and am looking forward to going to see a friend today for the night. I’m not feeling pregnant and just not really thinking about it (which is a nice break from obsessing). Hopefully, af will arrive on Tuesday and we can try again

I tested when I got home on Sunday night and not having tested for a couple of days, I had built up a little bit of hope. I tested bfn, felt a bit sad and af came later that evening. I’m usually quite regular, sometimes a day either side, it was strange for it to come so early, I wasn’t due on until Tuesday/ Wednesday.

On to the next month! I think I felt sad because it made it real that conceiving naturally may not happen for us.

How are you all getting on? I’m CD7 and feeling much more relaxed about TTC at the moment. I have so much else going on in life and am feeling really stressed so I think that this month probably won’t happen anyway. I’m hoping that I give no thought to it and a bfp just surprises me out of the blue!

Are we staying on this thread for the next cycle? I think we were all unlucky last month!’

CD10 here, negative OPK though weirdly had EWCM a few days ago. Haven’t DTD yet so maybe I’m already out for this month!

I’m happy to stay, feels really unlucky that no one got a bfp last month, I’d like a happy ending for at least one person, haha.
