Ovulation 17th or 18th April, TWW

I’m ovulating today or tomorrow and wondered if anyone wanted to do the TWW with me?

TTC number 3
Cycle number 1
33 years old
My first with my partner who has low sperm morphology and I’m 10 years older than the last time I was pregnant!

I’m excited and nervous, this may be a long TTC journey for us but I’m trying to stay positive.

Hi both @Clettercletterthatsbetter @Mismatc I feel surprised how much different it’s been for us this time compared to last time. I didn’t have to focus too hard when I was younger. I really am compassionate for anyone that ttc for years.

im sorry to hear af came early for you ! That’s what happened to me last month.

im two days out from af starting but had cramping for the last 48 hours. Today my armpits hurt lots. Like underarm pain. I know it’s just wishful thinking but I still spent 20 minutes Googling if this is a sign. It’s all consuming!

I’m due on Thursday as well. I still have really sore boobs but I’ve noticed them so much less today now that I’ve accepted I’m not pregnant. Clearly, noticing my “symptoms” is psychological because I am no longer poking them every 5 minutes…

I’ve still got everything crossed for you both!
I’m feeling pretty down about it today - I just wish I knew why it’s taking longer this time.

I know I’m so lucky to already have children, but I’d just like to know whether it’s going to happen again for us or not.

Old blood here and there yesterday and today, at is on her way. All tests have been stark white bfn

AF arrived 8 hours after she normally does.

onwards and upwards. If i conceive the next cycle, my app predicts 29/02 EDD! Trying to be positive.

Are you planning on doing anything differently this month? I’m wondering if my luteal phase is too short, so I’ve ordered some natural progesterone cream which is supposed to help.

At least AF coming early has given me a better chance next month. If it had arrived on time I would have been away on OV day and afterwards. At least now I’m at home
for the whole of my fertile window!

this month I’m trying to focus more on my diet much more. I’m not hugely overweight but I’m heavier than I was when I was ttc before.

I also think I need to DTD much more after the fertile window. We tended to stop after ovulation but I could have missed valuable opportunities.

I’m not sure what to do differently to be honest! Any ideas? I’m CD2 now, just hoping this is the month

I’m CD7 already! Been a crazy few months renovating but we finally moved house yesterday. I think ovulation will come around quickly with lots of unpacking and sorting out our home. Just hoping that this is the month.

Congrats on the move @Mismatc - hopefully now that’s out of the way you’ll be feeling more relaxed and this will be your month!

CD11 here. No sign of OV yet, but I’m feeling a bit more optimistic this month. I’ll also start using the natural progesterone cream after OV to see if that helps lengthen my luteal phase. We shall see what happens!

It will be interesting to see if the progesterone cream helps!

I’m not even doing OPKs this month, I just really don’t want to. I guess we will see what happens with no tracking whatsoever.

Hi @Mismatc CD 10 today. Some signs of fertile window like EWCM (sorry overshare) but definitely not near ovulation yet. I have started OPKS this month as I haven’t done them ever before! Only started today though - I’ll use the box but once that box is gone I’m not sure if it’s something I’ll stick with.

I’m the same @Catchafallingstar7 - some EWCM but no positive OPK yet, which suggests this might be a longer cycle for me or I’ll have an even shorter luteal phase this time 😭

If it doesn’t happen this month then I might try BBT charting, but I’m not sure how effective it would be for me as my sleep is usually very disturbed thanks to my children!

I’m feeling a lot less positive about this month now… CD15 and still no positive OPK!

I usually get a positive on day 12 or 13 so I’m wondering if I’m not going to ovulate this month…

I’m really hoping for a bfp for at least one of us 😊. I’m not testing and barely aware of my cycle day. I was losing a bit of the joy of being intimate so I’m trying to forget about it and enjoy each other

I’m CD14 so about to start/ have just started my TWW. I’m hoping I feel similarly to have I have felt at the beginning of this cycle, mildly aware but not obsessed.

We’re away for a wedding next weekend so I won’t test until Sunday 18th evening/ Monday 19th morning which will be 10/11 dpo.

I have my fingers crossed for at least one of us this month!

just booked a holiday so focusing on that instead now as distraction. Desperate for it to happen for us soon as the age gap is really bothering me. But At least I can make use of the all inclusive if it hasn’t Happened by September

5dpo here. My cycle has been really weird this month - ovulation later than usual so we didn’t manage to dtd at all after ovulation, and I had two periods of spotting (pre-ovulation and around ovulation) so I have no idea what’s going on. I’m going to try not to test until Sunday 18th.

@Catchafallingstar7 @Mismatc any news? 10dpo here and still stark white - I think I’m out this month too… 😞
I just have a feeling it won’t happen for us again - perhaps I need to make my peace with that…

Hi @Mismatc im 8dpo but nearly 9dpo I haven’t tested yet this month. AF due in 4/5days. I’ve got lots of my PMS symptoms I usually get at this time so had a sad feeling all day today that I’m out again. I’ll come and update next Sunday.

i get how you feel when you said you feel it won’t happen for us. Had a similar mind frame the last few days. Every due date I’ve day dreamed seems impossible now and I’m finding it hard to visualise.

i have a baby shower this weekend which is around when AF is due :(

We must remember, it is normal for it to take a while and we are doing our best 💐

I haven’t tested yet, I’ll test this evening for the first time. I’ve got sore boobs but I’ve had them every month. I think I’ve made peace that it may not happen naturally for us — if we get to September I think we will consider treatment.

10dpo is still really early but I understand just not feeling pregnant. Hopefully at least one of us gets it this month!
