@bringmearainbow yep I up mine everytime too and have a follow up blood test next week 😊. Normally an easy fix if it is a little out of line 😘 xx

@LuckyMoonstone are you under consultant led care? My last one was meant to be but obviously didn't get that far. This one I imagine if they say the same I won't see a consultant until a few months time, they're pretty slow on the NHS sadly xx

@FfoxRedN yes it’s a mix of consultant and midwife. I didn’t see him until 17 weeks! Felt that was a bit ridiculous knowing I needed my thyroxine increasing but leaving it that long, surely it should be done from the start if it’s so important 🙄

@LuckyMoonstone yeah guidelines say up it by 25mcg/mg whatever it is on a positive test so I've done it with my stash the GP Dr doesn't even know yet. I get sick of waiting in the queue to get an appt! Xx

Well honestly I don't know what to think there's progress the sac has grown and there is now a yolk sac and a potential foetal pole that measures about 2mm. They said still too early. From peak opk I would be 6+5 today I don't know what to feel other than disappointed

@bringmearainbow that's about the right size for that gestation, was there a little heartbeat? Xx

@FfoxRedN no HB yet. I thought at 6+5 you should see the HB hence my disappointment 🙈 she wasn't 100% there was a fetal pole but she said what looked like it could be one was 2mm

@bringmearainbow was it an internal scan? Have they booked you for another one?
If you didn't release the egg until 2 days after that small bit of time could make all the difference in growth. I have everything crossed for you that at the next one there'll be more to see 🙏🏼. It's a really good sign your nausea has gotten worse too xx

@bringmearainbow It's really good that there's been growth though and that they can see a yolk sac now :) What are the next steps? Will they scan you again next week?

@FfoxRedN yes internal she did try on tummy but she had no hope I didn't have a full bladder as I knew there would be no point 😂

@TheBirdintheCave @FfoxRedN annoyingly I have to wait nearly 2 weeks next scan is 16th May 🙄

@TheBirdintheCave yes I know really frustrating 😩 She did say probably a few days would make a difference so I was kind of hoping they might suggest a week at least but I don't know if they just didn't have the appointments because of bank holiday 🤷🏼‍♀️

@bringmearainbow I don't think you have anything to worry about, it all sounds really positive! I would say you probably O'd a good few days after peak anyway so your possibly nearer the 6 week mark which seems consistent with what you saw at the scan. Also some people implant early and others a bit later which can impact dates. Was this a NHS scan or private?

@bunnykins123 it was nhs. I got a positive at 10dpo which was 3weeks 2 days ago. It's so hard because I am really happy with the progress but I've now got that horrible niggle in my brain 😩🙈 gah it's so hard to stay positive isn't it

@bringmearainbow so so hard to stay positive but keep that little bit of faith, it will get you through it. @bunnykins123 is right, there's been growth and it's so early still that those couple of days can make all the difference, especially whilst it's all so small 🥹. I'm sure they would get you in closer if you were really concerned but it sounds like they want to wait until 8 weeks so there'll be more progression xxx

@bringmearainbow totally understand the sulk! I booked a private scan in at 6 weeks and they emailed me saying to push back a week as you are more likely to see something at 7 weeks. I didn't end up going to the private one in the end. I do think 6 weeks-ish is a bit hit and miss with what you'll see. Did they say what the size of the sac was?

@bunnykins123 it was 3mm 12 days ago and they said the sac has grown well but she didn't say a measurement this time or maybe she did and I didn't process it properly. They said if it got to 7mm and they saw what they saw then they would class it as a mc so it's obviously not that big. I just expected more because I'm closer to 7 weeks than 6 but like you say there's so many variables in all that 🙄 I do have that tilted uterus too which I know shouldn't matter too much in an internal but could be a factor 🤔

@bringmearainbow it’s very positive that they can now see the sac and pole :) I had a scan about that time, think it was around 6 and a half weeks and they didn’t even class what they saw as a heartbeat, just a slightly flickering blob! But they were happy to confirm it was definitely there so that’s all they need at this stage!
