@MrsJGrealish I've had I think maybe 2 moments of feeling sick and zero actually being sick it feels so strange to not have nausea all day long 🙈 I've never had such bad mood swings in any of my pregnancies though and I'm generally not a moody person its even driving me a bit cuckoo 😂 think I've got allllll the hormones 😳

Thirty follicles counted today so the consultant reckons 15-20 eggs will be collected early next week as not all will mature. I've got to go for another scan on Thursday and then possibly one on Saturday too.

Still worried about getting OHSS. The clinic are really pushing for a freeze all which is so disheartening as the holiday gets in the way of next month 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

@TheBirdintheCave that's a brilliant number! Why are they pushing to freeze? You would like a fresh transfer? Sorry I don't know all the terms xx

@TheBirdintheCave that's an amazing amount! My friend had the same though, risk of OHSS. She previously had 2 fresh transfers and neither worked. I'm sure you've done loads of research but frozen transfers have way better success rates for PCOS cases. She's just waiting for her transfer after eggcollection in Feb. The clinic will only do what they think is right to get a baby for you rather than just transfer and it not work or put you at risk 😘 xx

@MrsJGrealish Egg collection is likely to be on the day of the Coronation which is supremely annoying as I wanted to watch it 😂 The freeze all is because of my OHSS risk.

@FfoxRedN I'm just getting so old 😭 We have to stop at 38 as I personally just can't imagine being much older than I am now and going back to having a baby. At this rate we'll be looking at July to transfer I imagine? I may as well not bother. Ironically we did IVF as thought it would be quicker than getting pregnant naturally again within our remaining time frame 🙄

Weirdly I don't really care about it not working, sounds stupid, as I don't believe it will work anyway, fresh or frozen. So I'd rather just do the fresh transfer and then move on with my life when it doesn't work.

@TheBirdintheCave are you only doing one round? You have to do what's right for you, but July is only 2 months away! That time will fly by. I do know what you mean though, you have to give it a go to know you tried everything, you also never know what would have happened naturally so give this the best go you can 🥰 xx

@TheBirdintheCave I get what you mean by feeling too old. I'm struggling with that too. Its v hard but I need to end sometime. 41 this month ffs. But July isn't that far away and 36 is no age at all xx

@TheBirdintheCave my teenage daughter is going through a tough time atm too so not sure I've the energy for a newborn.

@FfoxRedN One fresh round yes, so however many embryos we get (if any) will be how many chances we have for frozen transfers. I think we can only afford three anyway. I'm not sure what happens price wise if they have to do the stupid freeze all as embryo transfer et al is included in our package but FET is not.

@TheBirdintheCave I see what you mean. It may be that they take part of the cost of the first FET off maybe. I'm sure they will answer all your questions and then you can move forward armed with all the info for what's best xx

@MrsJGrealish have you had any update back from your tests yet hun? I can't remember when they said you'd get the results xx

@FfoxRedN hopefully the end of the week. Though mayday bank holiday might hinder it. This is the month I'll conceive from DTD once and finding out I've some weird shit going on 😂

@MrsJGrealish there's nothing wrong with that! I felt like I needed to be taken away on Friday. I've never been such a mess. Until it happens again next week! It's scary how much all this affects you mentally 😵‍💫 xx

@MrsJGrealish ahhh not long I hope you get some answers. Oh poor DD being a teenager is hard

Doctor rang me with my blood results. I can't remember if I said but I went to the gp for the dizziness and she sent me for blood tests. Everything looked fine other than my thyroid test. she said something is being suppressed in my thyroid so she wants to send me to an endocrinologist and do some other blood tests in the meantime. It was an unfortunate time for her to ring as DH is out at football and DS was running round the house being noisy so it was hard to concentrate

Eurgh posted too early 🙄 luckily I have private healthcare so should get to be seen fairly quickly 🤞🏼 she did say it might just be because I'm pregnant but wants a specialist to check it out

@bringmearainbow I'm sure I've read online before that a few women have had to up their thyroid meds as pregnancy made their thyroid go a bit jumpy. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but it's good to be getting it looked at anyway!

@MrsJGrealish hope you get some answers at your next appointment 🤞 poor DD, I hope she is doing ok - being a teenager is hard!

@TheBirdintheCave wow those are some great numbers there! Like other have said, I know it's super frustrating (especially when you thought this would speed things up) but I think if they are advising for FET then I would just roll with it. A couple of month is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Have they told you why they are pushing for this?

@bringmearainbow yeah I’ve had to increase my thyroxine in pregnancy so maybe your pregnancy has just pushed yours over the threshold or something. I waited five months for a referral to endocrinology 🤣 by that time I had to tell them I was pregnant and had already been seen by somebody else!
