@LuckyMoonstone That's great news! Another milestone passed 😬

AF arrived at 1pm so hopefully I can have the first injection tomorrow night 🤞🏻

LuckyMoonstone · 26/04/2023 07:23

@bunnykins123 yeah I did read online that most of them move, I just really hope that includes me. Will try not to waste my energy worrying about it for the next 12 weeks 😬
@TheBirdintheCave yay for AF! Good luck with the injections, be brave!

LuckyMoonstone · 26/04/2023 07:25

@bunnykins123 sorry forgot to answer your question. I just feel massively relieved to have got half way 😅 i feel like the second half will go a bit quicker. I need to tell work soon, my plan was to do it this week but I feel really embarrassed for some reason 😆 basically announcing to everyone I work with that I’ve been shagging 👍

MrsJGrealish · 26/04/2023 07:49

@LuckyMoonstone 😂😂😂 we talk about sex all the time in work.,I'm all like 'shhhhh it's a small shop' I know WAY too much about who swallows and doesn't 🙈 good job keeping it hidden though! Good luck 😉

bunnykins123 · 26/04/2023 08:14

@TheBirdintheCave that's great AF has shown up! Good luck with the first dose of meds today 🤞 let us know how it goes!

@LuckyMoonstone I was the same, I didn't tell anyone until a few weeks ago as I felt like the more people I told, the more real it would become and the more likely something would go wrong. Weird mindset but I think given my history it was a self preservation thing. Absolutely no way can I hide the bump now, I'm huge! Nooo I wouldn't waste a second thinking about it. For once this was one thing I haven't worried about which makes a change!

@MrsJGrealish haha my office is the same. I know far too much about the team, they are all early 20s so feel a bit mumsy around them anyway but even more so when I hear about their personal life / relationship woes 😂 how did your appointment go?

Indianna2006 · 26/04/2023 08:32

@LuckyMoonstone aww yay. Half way milestone. My placenta was posterior this time and my baby still sat back to back. Naughty bugger lol. I relaxed a lot more after the half way mark 🥰

@TheBirdintheCave yay for AF for once. Good luck for doing all the injections. You will be just fine.

FfoxRedN · 26/04/2023 09:05

@LuckyMoonstone congrats on the halfway point 🥰🥰. So happy it's all going well for you!
So nausea is back, couldn't being myself to eat homemade chicken Kiev, which is saying something!!! x

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 26/04/2023 09:22

@FfoxRedN Hoorah for returning nausea :D Shame about the Kyiv though as that sounds delicious... Ok, now I want chicken Kyiv 😂

bringmearainbow · 26/04/2023 10:18

@LuckyMoonstone haha it starts young never wanting a picture taken 🤦🏼‍♀️

@bunnykins123 no they don't utterly useless half the time. I did tell him last night I need more help so hopefully he might use his brain a bit more 🤞🏼

@TheBirdintheCave yay so happy AF has arrived you got this lovely 💪🏼

@MrsJGrealish 😂 oh no that's just not what you wanna know 🙈

@FfoxRedN so happy the nausea is back! Mine started a little this morning not full on but I got the slight queasy sensation in my stomach so made sure I packed a million snacks. I've already put on 2kg 😩 though how I don't know I haven't exactly been gluttonous. Must be the constipation and bloat 🙄

MrsJGrealish · 26/04/2023 11:26

@bunnykins123 without writing all the gory details online I'll know more in 10 days. I dunno maybe sooner if there's a big issue. I was in a fair bit of pain last night 😕 x

MrsJGrealish · 26/04/2023 12:14

Mind the clinic was a world away from nhs. DH was offered coffee or tea and there were plants, music and no queues or angry people 😊

TheBirdintheCave · 26/04/2023 12:46

@MrsJGrealish I'm glad things are moving forward for you now :) And I'm glad the clinic environment was so nice!

I've been told by the clinic to wait until tomorrow to start stims now as my period was ONE WHOLE HOUR too late yesterday for it to be counted as CD1 😭

MrsJGrealish · 26/04/2023 13:12

@TheBirdintheCave what time did it start?? Ugh imagine getting all geared up for today then them saying nope. Frustrating!! If it's not one thing it's something else. Update us when you do it, give me something to think about xx 😘

Oh I asked about the cyclogest. You know when you're sitting talking about your history. Obviously stroke is something you talk about. Then she said oh so you were on oestrogen pill. I said no. Just cerazette. (I get migraines so I can't take oestrogen) Then she looked super confused and said oh did you have a DVT? I said no. Still a look of confusion and then she changed the topic what symptoms blah blah. I'm beginning to think my neurologist is too old to be giving advice to younger people. His clinic was called 'care of the elderly' I was 24 😂 anyway I'll see where I go from here when these results come back.

@FfoxRedN yay to sickness!!!!!

TheBirdintheCave · 26/04/2023 13:13

@MrsJGrealish 1pm and their cut off is midday 😂

FfoxRedN · 26/04/2023 16:32

@bringmearainbow I darent get on the scales! I dread to think what I've put on!! Remind me are you taking progesterone or anything? The bloat is deffo uncomfortable! Xx

@MrsJGrealish I'm so glad the private clinic actually listened to you. Was she implying that the progesterone wouldn't have been an issue with your stroke history? I'm
Glad you've not got long to wait for some results xx

@TheBirdintheCave gah how frustrating!! BUT, you are on your way lovely, the journey had begun and you can get moving, exciting times 🥰 xx

OP posts:
MrsJGrealish · 26/04/2023 16:49

@FfoxRedN yes!! This sounds weird and probably in my imagination but I'm pretty sure I can feel it drop about 10dpo. When it drops my energy picks up and I'm suddenly wide awake at 11pm. I'm glad it's not a long wait and she says if it's serious she'll ring me otherwise I'll get an email. She's just gynae though but a lot younger than professor whatshisname (apologies he has the longest name in the history of names) xx

MrsJGrealish · 26/04/2023 16:51

Currently doing wedding nails..ugly foot picture coming up🙈

LuckyMoonstone · 26/04/2023 17:13

@TheBirdintheCave so daft that an hour makes that much difference!

bringmearainbow · 26/04/2023 19:29

@FfoxRedN I only had to because I went to the gp for the dizziness incase it was an ear infection and she made me get on them I try and avoid scales like the plague normally 😂 she did put me on extra folic acid because I'm fat though 🙈 I'm not on any progesterone they did briefly talk about it after last MC for this pregnancy but I don't have any problems with spotting or bleeding my body likes to hang into them for as long as possible so I don't think it would do much anyway 🤔

@TheBirdintheCave I can't believe an hour makes a difference that's crazy!

LuckyMoonstone · 26/04/2023 19:43

@bringmearainbow it’s good that they got you on the extra folic acid straight away. I didn’t get it until 13 weeks 😐 what is even the point by then, if I need it then the damage is already done by not taking it

bringmearainbow · 26/04/2023 21:15

@LuckyMoonstone tbf they only did because I spoke to the midwife on this online chat thing which I have to say is so useful and she told me to ring the gp for dizziness and whilst I was there get them to prescribe it because my bmi is 30 🤷🏼‍♀️ I didn't even know it was a thing but yes pretty useless them prescribing it at 13 weeks as you're only meant to take the extra up to 12 🙄

FfoxRedN · 27/04/2023 15:35

@bringmearainbow luckily I'm already taking folate, but talking about BMI....I went and tried some stuff on in H&M today (away for the weekend and all my clothes are way too small and uncomfortable and I now have a bloat pooch 😩) and my god, 360 mirrors are NOT the one. I scurried out of there quick time 😂.

Did they discuss aspirin with you? Someone mentioned it to me today and it was considered by my gynae but she decided against it, trouble is now I'm worrying I should be taking it 🤯. You aren't missing anything with the progesterone, it's positively grim!

@TheBirdintheCave first day of meds today? Really good luck to you and I wish you all the best for your journey 😘. You'll be absolutely fine! Xx

@MrsJGrealish it definitely sounds like there's an imbalance there somewhere lovely xx

OP posts:
bringmearainbow · 27/04/2023 16:04

@FfoxRedN I effing hate shopping 😂 the mirrors are awful and I just can't be bothered. I'm living in leggings atm I bought some new high waisted ones in the hopes they will do me with a belly too 🤞🏼 my stomach looks about 12 weeks gone atm 🙄 I'm not sad to miss the progesterone after hearing the stories 😳 no they haven't mentioned aspirin. I did debate whether to just take it but I think it's the fear of should I shouldn't I I think there's some very mixed reviews which put me off just taking it.

Gotta say I'm having a wobble today I've been really positive this whole time but today the fear is majorly creeping in I wish my scan was closer

TheBirdintheCave · 27/04/2023 21:10

I did it! 😬😬 And now I have pizza 💪🏻

bringmearainbow · 27/04/2023 21:27

@TheBirdintheCave ahhhh amazing well done lovely 💪🏼
