TWW - Short(ish) LP

Hi ladies! I was just wondering anyone wanted to join me in the TWW? According to my apps I was due to O tomorrow (10th, CD23) but have ended up O'ing on Thursday (06th, CD19 ) so currently 3DPO. Thankfully had been BD but it's not going to be enough we don't think as only caught -3, -2, +1. This is our third month trying so not too long but I would love some company to stop me going mad, I only have a 10-12 day LP which is stressing me out as it doesn't feel long enough but apparently it is!! . Baby dust to you all!

@Ttcmumma I can definitely see a line! Did it show up within the timeframe? So exciting 😃

The first pic I sent was basically instant, attached now is the pic now. 5-10 mins later and I done a second one which is currently like the first pic I sent but slowly darkening as I type

I've ordered clear blue to come before 1pm, it often comes early like 8am so I'll try store my pee haha. Or wait till the next day. I'm so shocked!!! My period isn't even due for atleast another 4 days so I'm not going to get excited just incase 😳

I am feeling very hopeful for you and keeping everything crossed.

I did my first test on the 17th May but going by due date I wasn’t 4 weeks until 20th May. but with the shorter luteal phase on the 17th I was already late for AF. I didn’t get a strong/dark line until almost 5 weeks.

@BB2818 thank you! They've dried alot darker, I know it's past the time limit now but considering there was a pink line to begin with I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. Just don't know how to feel as I know it doesn't guarantee a baby!! I just put in my natural cycles app that I got a positive and it's saying I'm only 3 weeks and 3 days pregnant so it's ridiculously early!

Try and stay positive and keep yourself busy. Be kind to yourself.

Contact GP as if you have a history of losses you will be able to get an early scan. I had been referred for one and then had a bleed a couple of days later. 2 scans later baby is growing nicely. I’m still incredibly anxious. But think of every symptom as a blessing 🤢🤣

For a week or two I think I'm going to just try and forget in a sense 😅 just to keep myself as relaxed as possible. I have blood work booked for Tuesday as my prolactin is high and they need to check that... Maybe I can mention to them then so they can check my HCG and incase my high prolactin causes miscarriage they may want to treat sooner. Omg I'm going to have to call them asap aren't I 😅. Yeah epu told me last time if I fall pregnant again then contact for an early scan, problem is I don't trust the scans. Last year I had a private scan at 10 weeks and 2 days tho found out baby measured 10 weeks 5 days, strong heart beat etc. When I went for my NHS scan at 13 weeks 2 days, they said the baby died at 10 weeks 6 days by size. So the baby died the day after I reassured myself with the private scan!! So honestly I don't think they'll ever relax me anymore 😅 the baby looked absolutely fine and super active so I was so convinced all was well. The likelihood of that happening again tho is slim surely 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Ttcmumma all our losses have been before 11 weeks. I just kept setting little goals… I need to get to the early scan, need to get to 11 weeks, 12 week scan, telling family, etc. Actually telling people made me feel a bit better as their happiness and excitement for us kept me going.

I know it doesn’t guarantee it will plain sailing and I still often feel anxious. Especially when I am being scanned. I have had more bad news from them than good so I suppose that’s understandable.

If you are having bloods done anyway call up and ask them to test your HCG levels at the same time. It will only be an extra tube of blood.

@Ttcmumma ahhhhhh this is amazing news! Congratulations! I am so happy this little groups positivity has worked 🤗 I'm only a couple of weeks ahead of you, so hopefully we can hold each others virtual hand, leaning on @BB2818 to advise our weird symptoms when we reach our milestones 🤗

@BB2818 I'm feeling OK thanks, docs won't test me for anything as I'm in a self referral area. Booking in not until late August and then scan at ~11+4 in September. I am driving myself mad but trying to keep calm at the same time! I have 0 symptoms that I can really put my finger on but I'm only 5+1.

I'm so worried about having a loss as I know it's so common, the logical person in me knows there is nothing I can do about it but it is something I can't help worrying about!

@TTC12023 will you have an early private scan? Its self referral in my area was seen by midwife at 7 weeks. I was referred for early scan but ended up with one anyway when I had a bleed. So far they have been so good. Much better than when I had DC.

Yep, digital agrees! Booked in for bloods tomorrow but annoyingly can't speak to a doctor until Friday 🤦🏼‍♀️ but atleast the balls rolling to keep an eye on this one 🤞

@mahii95 yeah I think so! I got a positive LH on the 18th (as dark as the control line) and a super strong positive on the 19th (darker than the control line) so my app predicts I ovulated on the 20th Which would be about 11dpo right? I keep counting it wrong 🤣. Dtd on the 19th only x

@Ttcmumma so exciting! I'm away for a week or so with work so will be picking up my own digital at some point as DH can't stop me from taking it  fingers crossed mine say 3+ - although really scared to do it in case it doesn't! I have no reason to be anxious but I am 🙈 last test I did was lunchtime(ish) on Saturday and it was a dye stealer, I'm sure everything is fine it's just so disconcerting with no symptoms!!

@BB2818 yes we're planning on going for an early scan, I know I'm a week behind my LMP dating so holding out until W/C 14th as I'll be in my 7th week - I don't want to go to early and then stress because something isn't showing quite right 🙈🙈

Hi all 7dpo today.. had a bit of spotting late last night.. at 6dpo around 11.25pm.. what do you all think? Implantation or not enough? Nothing since Pictures attached.. sorry if TMI 😬🥴

@TTC12023 I love how different we all are. I'm over here paranoid because I'm not even 3 weeks yet and I feel sick 🤢, I cannot brush my tongue when I brush my teeth overwise it's game over lol. But I'm paranoid because I don't remember having symptoms super early with my living son, but with my MMC I had symptoms before my missed period too. I haven't even missed my period yet 🤦🏼‍♀️ but hoping it's irrelevant and was just bad luck last time! I'll attach a pic of my test today, it's got pretty dark already lol

@mahii95 ohhh I've never had implantation bleeding, but I would definitely think that's what that is! Especially considering the timing. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

@mahii95 I have bled in every pregnancy. I don’t have experience of a light implantation bleed. I assume that’s what it should look like. Do you have short luteal phases?

@Ttcmumma I am struggling with brushing teeth full stop. 99% of the time it makes me vomit. Then all I want to do is brush my teeth again. In a never ending vicious cycle. Everyone tries telling me that sickness should ease off around 12 weeks. 14 weeks and 🤢 still going strong 🤦🏼‍♀️

@BB2818 my luteal phase lasts about 13-14 days I believe.

How I'm concerned about my BBT as it's incredibly low for a luteal phase.. was 36.31 (6dpo) yesterday and 36.43 (7dpo) today..

Isn't that too low for LP?
