TWW - Short(ish) LP

Hi ladies! I was just wondering anyone wanted to join me in the TWW? According to my apps I was due to O tomorrow (10th, CD23) but have ended up O'ing on Thursday (06th, CD19 ) so currently 3DPO. Thankfully had been BD but it's not going to be enough we don't think as only caught -3, -2, +1. This is our third month trying so not too long but I would love some company to stop me going mad, I only have a 10-12 day LP which is stressing me out as it doesn't feel long enough but apparently it is!! . Baby dust to you all!

@TTC12023 If I ovulated when the clear blue said I'm 5dpo but if I ovulated early I'm 9dpo. Light pink bleeding since Monday. I really hope it is. I'm just confused but I only use clear blue static smiley and I only used it to confirm with Premom. I don't even know when I could test, I'm going to leave it as long as possible. Here's hoping, but it dosent make the wait any easier 💕💕

Ok I caved in and bought a test last night. Tested first thing this morning and got a big fat negative. 15dpo and no sign of AF yet 😔

14dpo and still negative this morning too

@Ttcmumma I would like to think if I was pregnant it would show at 15dpo 🤷🏼‍♀️ unless I was out with ovulation 🤪

@BB2818 yep same! I think I can only be out by one day at most for my ovulation. My lh test peaked evening of cd15 and morning of cd16 my temp had risen and stayed risen. So my app says I ovulated cd15 but latest it could of been is cd16 I'd say. It's so annoying because I've had new symptoms this month, my nipples changed alot which has never happened. I'm also eating cereal right now and not throwing it up is a struggle yet my tests are stark white and I am convinced AF is coming 😅

@Ttcmumma I don’t really have any symptoms. When I have been pregnant in the past I have had extreme morning sickness - in fact that’s what has previously made me test.

I do spot for a few days before AF usually but haven’t yet. Which is unusual at cycle day 30 🤪

@BB2818 honestly this TTC journey is stressful lol. With my son's pregnancy I had no idea but i was VERY hormonal I'm pretty sure my other half hated me at the time 😅. Then found out at hospital one day after af was due when they did the standard pee test before operation. My pregnancy last year I don't actually remember how I felt but I just knew and tested 4 days before AF and got bfp. Tho that ended in miscarriage so maybe I'm better to test positive later 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've seen a lot of people on here not have symptoms and get a bfp so the fact you're not spotting yet may be a good sign! I'm convinced I'm about to start any second 😅 but still very much within standard time frame if af comes anytime now or this weekend

Secretly hoping my ovulation day was out. But I know AF is going to arrive at some point 🤦🏼‍♀️

@BB2818 @Ttcmumma fingers crossed for you both that you're late showers on the tests! Some people don't get + test until over 15DPO, i guess late implantation could cause that? 🤔Sickness would be a good sign @Ttcmumma , did you manage your cornflakes?!

@Babydustthisyear Does that mean you've had spotting since O dated by clear blue? Maybe it's bleeding from the egg being released? It must be really confusing, especially if you've never experienced it before.

I'm now 8DPO with a temp drop this morning, but not by much (0.6) any symptoms I thought I had have gone (aside from my tender nipples, but I get some level of that every month). DTD with DH usually triggers AF in the LP but thankfully it doesn't seem to have done this morning which I'm thankful for as an 8 day LP would be worrying! Starting to think I need to have a conversation with DH, although this is only cycle 3 so I'm probably worrying about nothing!

I'm so grateful to have you ladies to talk to! I've started treads before but no on has ever responded 😥 DH want's to keep things 'casual' but it's getting to me as I'm the only one planning the not planning 🙄

Hey @TTC12023 - Iv been spotting since 3 days after positive reading on clear blue but I'm wondering can I ovulate early with a low reading on premom? If so it could be implantation Iv no idea lol! Every month I'm like if only I had implantation it would be more clear to me before testing and turns out it's not 😂😂

@Babydustthisyear that does seem too early for implementation but like you say maybe you O'd early and the premom app didn't pick it up? I heard that the light can make a difference, although have no experience of it myself! I thought of doing OPKs as well as checking cervix as well as BBT seems like I'd get really stressed, but maybe that's where I'm going wrong! Although women managed before!

I like the smaller threads. It’s easy to get lost in the larger ones 🥰.

I am over thinking. If I have had two lots of 21 day bloods. First came back fine, second (this cycle) only a slight elevation maybe I ovulated later this cycle 🤷🏼‍♀️. Even though I do ovulate later than the ‘norm’ for my first lot to be fine and these only slightly. Maybe I am clutching a bit 🤪

@BB2818 I don't know I could get on board with that idea! You might have O'd a couple of day's later for it to show a lower reading? Do you just use OPK's or do you BBT aswell?

If they tried 21 day bloods on me they'd likely tell me I had an issue as I usually don't O until day 23 😝Sometimes I'm lucky and O at 19 (aren't I lucky!)
Makes the whole thing very long though, I'd much prefer a 'normal' cycle!

@TTC12023 I think that’s why I am having two lots next cycle 🙈. Although the nurse said it’s quite standard to start at 21 days an adjust for higher or lower readings on the next lot of bloods.

I don’t use ovulation tests anymore I used to alongside temperature monitoring. I do temperature monitor but it’s been a bit off it this cycle with Covid (inaccurate readings) and forgetting whilst away.

I initially requested bloods because I had two cycles where I had multiple strong positive ovulation strips with negatives in between. I mentioned this to the amazing nurse at our surgery. She said that the ovulation tests pick up the surge in hormones as your body prepares to ovulate, not you actually ovulating. One theory was that I failed to ovulate and my body kept trying 🤷🏼‍♀️. She did say it was hard to actually determine. Especially as my bloods came back fine. This was back in August and September. I had a miscarriage in the May/June which could have been messing with my cycles.

I know there could be absolutely nothing wrong with me. I have had Covid three times in just over a year, miscarriage and was previously on and off the pill for 7 years. All of that could have an impact. Plus I have conceived twice on the pill - unfortunately ending in losses.

@TTC12023 I did manage the cereal but it wasn't easy and I had to concentrate 🤣 if my son spoke to me I was thrown off focus and heaved lol. But I'm telling you it's all in my head!! I've gone to the toilet to check my AF has arrived numerous times today and it's just discharge but the cramping is quite a lot! No sign of any blood just yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

Cycle day 31, 16dpo, no sign of AF - no cramps, no spots, no spotting 🤷🏼‍♀️

If I am not pregnant I wish AF would hurry up so we can get on with the next cycle 🙈

@BB2818 being in limbo is not fun! I'm cycle day 30. 15dpo, test still stark white, AF cramps for the past atleast 8 days?! Normally my cramps mean I will start in the next day or two. And tmi but I constantly feel wet down there... I woke up convinced I had started this morning but not a spot of red. 99.9% convinced I'm out and af will arrive this weekend tho lol as you say if it's going to come can it hurry up so we can move onto the next cycle

@Ttcmumma Are you testing everyday?

I bought a pack of 2. Used one yesterday now plan to wait until Tuesday, unless AF shows up before 🤷🏼‍♀️

@BB2818 yeah just with internet cheapies. I used a frer the other day just incase they were completely wrong but it was negative so just doing internet cheapies to satisfy my lack of self control until either AF arrives or I get some kind of line on the cheapies. I'm guessing af will come tomorrow and just make this another 30 day cycle 🤷🏼‍♀️

🤣 at the long LP statement! I guess you ladies are in a long one this month! Sounds like both your cycles are relatively 'short' in the scheme of things? I'm lucky if I have a 29 day but usually I'm a 32/33 day girl 😒

Only on 9DPO today but feeling weird, sicky and my boobs feel HUGE. Normally my boobs hurt all over after O but this month it 1) started late & 2) it's only my nipples (sorry TMI!). Won't test until Monday which I would be 'late' but only based on a 10 day LP 🫤

17dpo today - although just noticed on my app it says I ovulated on day 15 this month (based on temperature) I thought it was day 16 🤷🏼‍♀️. Although sounds like it was even later based on bloods 🤪

Cycle day 32 - the longest I have had in a long while. When I have had a 32 day cycle, I would have been spotting for a few days prior.

I did have very mild back ache and cramps yesterday evening. But other than that no sign of AF. Not testing now until Tuesday.

I think my body is trying to mess with me on purpose at this point. Been out with my son for a few hours where I felt quite alot of cramping, I'm also really irritable so his not listening is getting to me even quicker than usual 🤦🏼‍♀️. Tmi but i felt a sudden release of wetness a couple of times when I was out. I have a panty liner on for now as I'm certain with the cramps and mood I will start today. Internet cheapies were still negative this morning. But now I'm home ive come toilet to change what I suspected to be a dirty panty liner when in fact it was just thick cm?! I do remember being extra irritable around my AF due date when pregnant with my son but can't remember if I had this level of cramping! I think if I don't start today I will buy another frer tomorrow incase my internet cheapies are just rubbish?!

@Ttcmumma How many days late are you now? Isn’t cm a sign of early pregnancy?
