TWW - Short(ish) LP

Hi ladies! I was just wondering anyone wanted to join me in the TWW? According to my apps I was due to O tomorrow (10th, CD23) but have ended up O'ing on Thursday (06th, CD19 ) so currently 3DPO. Thankfully had been BD but it's not going to be enough we don't think as only caught -3, -2, +1. This is our third month trying so not too long but I would love some company to stop me going mad, I only have a 10-12 day LP which is stressing me out as it doesn't feel long enough but apparently it is!! . Baby dust to you all!

@BB2818 oh bless, that's hard. With my son I remember vomitting on myself whilst driving 🤣 it was once in a while I was sick and think it stopped by 16 weeks. My last pregnancy it stopped around 11 weeks but then went on to find out that's roughly when the baby died so I guess hold onto hope for the fact you're still sick!!

@mahii95 I don't think there's a too low temp as long as it's a rise for you, I've had over 37 degrees before and not been pregnant so it's hard to say, everyone's different. I didn't bbt this time. Has it increased since before ovulation?

@mahii95 I see what you mean, it doesn't seem to have risen alot. Did your app confirm ovulation? Also are you very strict with doing the bbt, so same time every morning with atleast 4 hours of sleep and doing your temp before absolutely anything else, even before talking getting out of bed etc? I found it difficult with my son waking me etc in the night and not always waking the same time it was sometimes hard to see the change. The bleeding and timing seems hopeful tho! I'd say give it another couple days to see if hcg rises and then test x

Well, this morning I got up 1hr 15 earlier than usual and woke up 2 hours beforehand for a few minutes due to husband's snoring 😵‍💫🥴 so I'm hoping that's why it was lower than I hoped.. reckon that'll have any to do with it ? @Ttcmumma

@mahii95 it very much so could be the cause!

@mahii95 anything can effect your BBT different sleep patterns, drinking alcohol, illness. I can’t say there is a best way. We had barely DTD the month we conceived. I had just had months of blood tests trying to figure out when I ovulate and DH was booked in for checks the week after I got our positive pregnancy test 🙈.

@Ttcmumma The frustrating thing is there is no pattern to it. I can go a few days just feeling nauseous and not been or barely being sick. Other days it’s constant. Sometimes it’s stuck to the morning other times it’s through the night. I tend to have more control if I have slept better and not rushed getting up for work etc.

When I went in for my last drip they asked how many times I had been sick so far that day. I‘m like I have had 6 episodes but the first one I threw up at least 10 times in a row 🤷🏼‍♀️. The cyclizine injection is good stuff but very painful when they administer 😬

@BB2818 oh god that's so rubbish, I guess if it had stopped for more than a few days you'd worry then, but also you're in the second trimester now so hopefully it eases off for you! This is supposed to be the easy trimester haha. I doubt it'll work as you seem quite bad with it but I find chewing gum before I even get out my bed and anytime I get nauseas to be white helpful. I learnt that in my last pregnancy because I just couldn't get my son to school I felt so sick. A glass of coke and a chewing gum worked a treat! Tho I'm scared to do the glass of coke this time incase my caffeine is too high so I'll be sticking to just gum unless I can't cope lol. ATM im very sicky in the morning but then just nauseas/no appetite all day x

Hi everyone, hope it's ok to join. I am 8DPO, AF due in a few days. I have a shorter luteal phase (around 10/11 days). Took a test today & stark white BFN, I was hoping as AF was due soon I'd have a faint line. When do you all test if you have a shorter LP?

Hey @ReginaPhalange12 i start anytime from 6dpo haha, my positive this time was 10dpo onwards but I hadn't tested in a couple days prior to it, I doubt I would have got a positive on 8dpo with the lightness I got at 10dpo x

@Ttcmumma it's honestly the strangest thing that I have no symptoms, I don't even feel bloated anymore 😵‍💫
Just have to wait and see I guess! Trust that my body is doing what it's supposed to do; or I've have 4 dodgy tests (unlikely!) 🤣

@TTC12023 super unlikely, youre probably just one of the lucky ones 😅. Are you young? I was pregnant at 21 with my first and found it much easier and less symptomatic haha, not that im old now, just feel like it's actually kinder to your body the younger you are

@Ttcmumma waiting 10DPO is the sensible thing to do... will I do that? Doubtful 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ I work from home so the tests are right there!!

@Ttcmumma nope, I'm 33 🤣
I'm sure everything is fine, I'm just worrying! Got a dye stealer this evening but I also know that it doesn't mean everything is 'OK'
It's so frustrating that my GP literally couldn't care less and just told me to self refer 🙈🙈

@TTC12023 if it helps my clear but faint line did not become any darker when I had a miscarriage last year. Never got a dye stealer. So that’s a positive that you are getting much darker lines 🥰

@Ttcmumma I had my DC at 22 and still had awful morning sickness (or all the frigging time sickness). Would love to be one of those women that just pop out a baby on the toilet and didn’t even know they were pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

@BB2818 did you have any cramping at all? My belly feels abit like AF is coming and it's worrying me as I'd be due sometime in the next few days x

@Ttcmumma I was just about to come on & write this exact thing. It definitely feels like AF cramps, not cramping I've had with ovulation or even cramping I felt a couple of days ago. I know it's not over until AF arrives but I'm feeling so deflated tonight

@Ttcmumma I did in the first few weeks and lower back ache. Apparently it’s quite common as you’re beginning to stretch and change. Early pregnancy and AF symptoms are quite similar, which doesn’t help when you are feeling anxious 😔

@Ttcmumma I had a bit of 'pulling' and a very dull ache on the day I tested and maybe once since for 30 mins but nothing I could massively put my finger on IYSWIM. I am more 'aware' of that area but I've had no cramping personally.

Did my digital this morning and got a 3+ which made me happy 🙂

Thanks ladies! I'm abit achey in my lower belly and lower back (back mostly just when I've done alot and to be fair I have scoliosis) boobs are quite sore, sickness isn't too bad today. Haven't bothered testing again today, might get another digital for next week if AF definitely stays away but hopefully all is fine x

Hi ladies.. I'm wondering about cervical mucus? What was your CM like before you got your BFP? Mine seems to be quite dry which makes me think AF is on her way 🥺

@mahii95 surprisingly more dry than usual but what I did have was thicker than usual x

@Ttcmumma mine is quiet dry? Reckon i still have a chance for BFP? I'm 9dpo today x
