TWW - Short(ish) LP

Hi ladies! I was just wondering anyone wanted to join me in the TWW? According to my apps I was due to O tomorrow (10th, CD23) but have ended up O'ing on Thursday (06th, CD19 ) so currently 3DPO. Thankfully had been BD but it's not going to be enough we don't think as only caught -3, -2, +1. This is our third month trying so not too long but I would love some company to stop me going mad, I only have a 10-12 day LP which is stressing me out as it doesn't feel long enough but apparently it is!! . Baby dust to you all!

I did another about 40 mins later just to double check 🫣🫣 line still there. DH won't let me do any more until maybe next week 😩
I don't even 'feel' pregnant, so much so I'm worried that it's not real! I have 0 symptoms, not even sore boobs! I had a funny turn last night but think that was tiredness and too much booze 🙈 of the weekend!
I honestly am in a state of shock and not sure what to do 🥺

@TTC12023 haha next step is usually just rolling with it for abit then contacting doctors to be referred to the midwives etc for booking in x

Oh and if you wish to take pregnancy vitamins, go get em! X

@TTC12023 contact your GP ask them to run bloods to confirm. Depending on your area you self refer to midwife. Your GP should be able to give you a link to do that.

I don’t think I had any/many symptoms for about a week/week and half after my positive test this time. In the past I have been sick/nauseous before a positive test 🙈

@BB2818 @Ttcmumma I don't think they're likely to run any tests as I have no history of anything, I guess I was just expecting to feel 'more' - if that makes any sense!

I have some vits, DH and I went and picked some up from the stores yesterday. I know I can either self refer or be referred in my area but holding off until next week. Such a strange feeling expecting AF to turn up and thinking those lines are false positives 🙈🙈🙈

I'm after a bit of advice.. I tested for ovulation yesterday and got a peak on fermometer digital OPK ( ++) . However got a low result on CB digital OPK (circle) so I assumed the CB test isnt sensitive enough..

We had guests round all day and managed to DTD just after midnight last night.

I tested again this morning and got a low result on Femometer now as well.. :-(

Today is showing as ovulation day according to the App and had a BBT dip this morning..

Can somebody advise if I have a chance in TTC this month or have I missed my window.

@TTC12023 I think doing bloods to confirm a pregnancy is quite standard. They will probably do too lots a few days apart to make sure HCG is rising.

@mahii95 never out until AF arrives. Sperm can survive up to 5 days. How long have you been TTC?

@BB2818 Think I should call the GP then? According to my O date I'm only 4+3 which is why I think I don't have any symptoms! Occasional waves of nausea but thing it's in my head 😂

@TTC12023 Yes call. Your HCG levels will probably be low with you being so early so they will repeat. Mine were something like 25. I got all worried and bought a load of pregnancy tests but it had more than tripled when they repeated 2 days later.

@mahii95 have you been on contraception? It can take some time to adjust after being on.

No hun.. no contraception whatsoever.. my cycles messed up so much after covid vaccines.. went from regular 30-32 days to 80+ days.. they are
Somewhat regular since January- like 42-49ish days.. so between 6-7weeks which are so much better xx

Hey guys, this is my second peak this month. I annoyingly haven't been doing bbt as my sleep patterns are a bit trash. But I already got positive strips on cd11 and cd12 which align to my currently 27 day cycle quite well. My app confirmed this is another positive. How likely do we think it is that I didn't ovulate the first time? (Never happened before) or do I need to order a pregnancy test? 😳

Sorry should app I'm now on cd23! So it's been more than 10 days since my last positive

@Ttcmumma I was experiencing this last Summer. Nurse told me that you get an LH surge as your body prepares to ovulate not when you actually ovulate. Obviously I am no expert but it could be your body didn’t ovulate the first time. Have you had bloods done to check ovulation?

@BB2818 nah, I bbted for months which kind of confirmed I tend to ovulate first time. Never had a second positive before. Maybe the high prolactin causing issues. Will have to jump on my other half tonight and see what happens lol

@Ttcmumma it could be that you're pregnant if you're around 9/10dpo as I got a peak on OPK and positive on HPT with my DS. However can I add that I tested when I was late..

@mahii95 yes I've heard this before which makes me suspicious! I'm around 10dpo now if I did ovulate the first time. Everything has felt as tho I did the first time and I've had some sharp pains/twinges in my womb area. I'm also a little cranky (I was a top notch bitch when first pregnant with my son😅). But I won't get my hopes up incase i did just fail to ovulate the first time! Might try quickly order some hcg and lh tests so I can see what's going on x
