Ovulation date 25th or 26th March - TWW thread

Hi ladies, who would like to join a TWW thread. My ovulation date is today or tomorrow ❤️

Month 9 TTC baby number 2.

I have a 1 year old who took 16 months to conceive.

I’m 29 and my hubs is 31. We know my husband has a fertility issue so we’re aware it could well be a long road ahead. Not that it makes TTC any more bearable. Every month is depressing when AF arrives!

Would love to share in the TWW with some others!

@Stillwinston is that Sperm Meets Egg method? Does that involve dtd every day? I don’t think I’d have the energy! I dtd last night (not even in my fertile window), but trying to dtd outside of the fertile window too - do make it seem less forced when we dtd in it 😂 so tiring!

@TTCing dtd does not happen for us outside the fertile window atm 😂far too tiring

@TTCing yeah, I'd heard good things on here about it so thought we'd give it a go - you dtd every other day until you have a peak OPK test and then you do 3 days in a row effectively. I'm absolutely knackered with work and everything but we managed to dtd Monday and today so going to try and see it through 😬

For anyone who comes across this thread in future, here is my line progression on boots early tests, last test on 22nd April puts me at 5 weeks going by first day of last period x

I got a static smile this morning, does anyone know how long the fertile window lasts? Won’t be able to have sex until tomo evening (if that!).

@Shutte it varies! One month I didn't ovulate until 3 days after peak test and this month I ovulated about 12 hours after peak test

@Shutte i think I’ve heard it’s 12-48 hours after the static smiley?

I haven’t had a static smiley yet this cycle. But (if my chemical pregnancy hasn’t disturbed things) I think it will be Thursday xx

smu always seems to be best time to test for me, got my 3+! No more testing for me now x

@TTCing I'm in a similar boat to you. Took 12 months to conceive our first who is now 20 months. I'm 29 and DH is 33. I had an early miscarriage first cycle trying for baby2 and am now in my TWW in my 3rd cycle.

I think I'm 4-5 dpo.

I’ve been having fully aches in tummy and back all day, but I’m Dpo 9/10 so I’m not sure

@TTCing think I'm 2dpo but moved onto the easy at home OPKs rather than the clearblue digital so I'm not 100% sure 🤦🏼‍♀️ pretty sure I'll be out this month as well though as we didn't get a chance to dtd as often as we should have even though we wanted to follow SMEP - there always seems to be something that gets in the way during the fertile week, it's so frustrating 😩

@Stillwinston as long as you did it in your fertile window at all you still have a chance! Last year I concieved having only done it twice the entire month. Been doing it 4-5 times in fertile window this year and nothing 😅

Morning ladies, static smiley for me this morning. We dtd on Sunday only so far. Hoping to dtd tonight and Thursday night. I think that’s the most we’ll manage this cycle.

@Stillwinston when i conceived with my daughter we only dtd twice that month and when I conceived last cycle, we only dtd twice then too x

@Stillwinston with my daughter we DTD twice and with my miscarriage recently we did it once!

We only managed it twice this month.

@Stillwinston i feel like I’m already counting down the tww when ovulation hasn’t quite happened yet 🤣 it’s rough, isn’t it? How many DPO do you think you’ll test? Hope you’re doing okay x

@TTCing I'm going away next Wednesday to the Highlands so won't have access to a test (if I don't buy one beforehand) until 15dpo - I'm really hoping I can hold strong and not test as part of my disappointment is fuelled by early testing 🤞

@Stillwinston hopefully that will be a welcome distraction and make the wait more tolerable!

we dtd on Sunday and last night. Hoping to tomorrow to (if we can motivate ourselves 🤣). Then I’ll be joining you in the tww! Xx
