Ovulation date 25th or 26th March - TWW thread

Hi ladies, who would like to join a TWW thread. My ovulation date is today or tomorrow ❤️

Month 9 TTC baby number 2.

I have a 1 year old who took 16 months to conceive.

I’m 29 and my hubs is 31. We know my husband has a fertility issue so we’re aware it could well be a long road ahead. Not that it makes TTC any more bearable. Every month is depressing when AF arrives!

Would love to share in the TWW with some others!

Yes please - think we have exactly the same dates! I'm also trying for baby no. 2 but have been trying for almost 2 years now (had a mc last August so it's been broken up a bit). My son (2.5) also took over 2 years to conceive so I'm very used to the disappointment of the tww every month🙄I'm 36 and hubby is 37 so I imagine time is a bit more limited on my side than for you. Hoping this thread is lucky for us! x

Welcome @Stillwinston! Sorry to hear about your miscarriage and about your TTC journey. That must be so tough for you.

I find it all so emotionally draining. So I can imagine it’s been an even greater struggle for you. Sending you a lot of love and empathy. And I’ll cross my fingers for your rainbow baby to come soon ❤️

Oh gosh, thank you. I totally didn't mean for my post to sound like a pity party - I'm incredibly lucky to have my amazing son so sometimes I just have to shake myself out of my funk! And the TWW is hard no matter how long you've been trying so apologies if I diminished how you're feeling, that was definitely not my intention ❤

Have you had a positive ovulation test yet? I've had the flashing smiley for the past 5 days now, just want to get the static so I can start the countdown to misinterpreting every single feeling as a "symptom" 😂

And re. AF - my app is estimating the 14th or 15th April and I'm normally pretty true to the dates they suggest, when are you expecting yours?

ovulated yesterday. Period due 7th April.
4th month ttc. fallen pregnant instantly but have had 3x miscarriages + 1 child. Hate the wait / anxiety when period is due. I literally can’t sleep the days leading up to my period and then the disappointment in your heart when it arrives 😞

So sorry to hear about your losses @TTCnumbertwo2, that must be so hard 💔the TWW is the cruelest thing, it's amazing how quickly the month goes by when you're not trying but how slowly the time crawls when you're in it 😫sending you lots of luck for this cycle x

I’m so thankful for my girl too! And the wait for a baby is hard but it’s so worth it ❤️

I actually only tested for ovulation for the first time yesterday and it was a static smiley yesterday. Yesterday was the first time we dtd this cycle! So I’m hoping we’ll manage once or twice more today/tomorrow.

I think I’ll be due AF on 7th/8th/9th April. Sometime around then. My cycle length tends to vary between 28 to 31 days!

@TTCnumbertwo2 sorry to hear about your three losses. That must be so tough and make it so hard. Even when you have had a positive test.

I had a miscarriage before my first and the anxiety never goes away after.

Looks like you guys are slightly ahead of me re. ovulation then, I'm looking forward to having some solidarity with all the symptom spotting over the next couple of weeks though 😀and it only takes 1 sperm @TTCing so hopefully this will be your month!

I have the exact same dates as a few of us. According to my natural cycles app I ovulated yesterday or today. Praying this is a lucky month for us all. TTC baby number 1 x

I finally got my static smiley late last night so my predicted dates for AF have now moved forward to the 8th/9th, same as everyone else on here it seems! Hopefully we can keep each other sane over the next 2 weeks😂

How many times has everyone managed to dtd?

I only managed two days before ovulation and the day of ovulation (I think). I’m a bit disappointed as I wanted to make it to three times in my fertile window. But I’ve just not been feeling up to it this week.

Now the painstaking wait begins!

My TWW starts today so good to have some company. It's our 3rd cycle TTC.

We dtd three times in fertile week. Not tracking ovulation, just working with dates so it's just a estimate but definitely had all the signs of ovulation 😊

Would love to join your thread again please. It made last months TWW slightly more bearable

We're 8 months into TTC our first. I'm 31 and husbands 32. No apparent fertility issues that we're aware of. I've been through a couple of tests due to issues ovulating to start with but scans and bloods came back clear.

I think I'm going to hit my LH surge today (will be testing throughout today to confirm) so really hopeful for ovulation tomorrow.

@TTCing We managed to dtd a couple of times in the fertile window so I'm hoping it's enough though not holding out much hope.

Nice to see so many more people on this thread, hopefully we'll all be super lucky! Has everyone started to get crazy already like I am even though it's only 1dpo? 😂

@Stillwinston im absolutely going crazy! I can’t bear another month trying let alone however many more months 😫 and it’s not even though I would get excited if I do fall pregnant as I’ve had 3x miscarriages, so I’m just going to be so stressed. This is a tough stage in my life for sure!

@TTCnumbertwo2 oh gosh, it's so bloody hard isn't it and you've had a super tough time, no wonder you find it so stressful. Pregnancy is terrifying at best of times but add in multiple losses and it becomes terrifying😩at least we can have a safe space here and share our worries and anguish without any judgement xx

Yes it’s soo tough ! I saw a gynaecologist last week whilst I’m waiting for the recurrent miscarriage specialist and she’s prescribed me in the mean time with herapin injections and progesterone pessaries as soon as I get a bfp. I hope this time it will work out. I’m 34 soon. Hoping it will be our month for us all 🙏🏼

@Stillwinston oh! The tww turns me delusional! I’m usually okay until about 7dpo and then I convince myself every month I’m pregnant!

@TTCnumbertwo2 i know what you mean about not getting excited if pregnant. I’ll always have the fear and anxiety. I had a miscarriage before I had my daughter. It’s really anxiety inducing now! Hopefully this month will be yours! X

Can I join. I am currently trying for my first baby, I turn 35 in May. Not tracking ovulation yet, just hoping for the best. My app says I should be ovulating today, have dtd lots recently to cover it and plan on continuing this week too. Currently on cycle 2 of trying.

Can I join please? Bit of background, lost a little bean in November at 7 weeks, then went on to have 2 chemical pregnancies, since November I have been obsessively using opk’s, after my chemical last month I really went down hill and decided no more opk’s and no more obsessing, I’m currently cycle day 10 and have not sure if I’ve ovulated or not, however in previous cycles I always seemed to ovulate cycle day 10/11 going by my opk’s, started feeling crampy yesterday and today so possible ovulation but I refuse to test 😂 trying the more chilled out approach x

Bless you @Mummy1502, you've been on a journey haven't you. I'm sorry to hear this. I totally understand with the obsessing but it sounds like you're doing the correct thing for yourself. Maybe I should take a leaf out of your book!
