Ovulation date 25th or 26th March - TWW thread

Hi ladies, who would like to join a TWW thread. My ovulation date is today or tomorrow ❤️

Month 9 TTC baby number 2.

I have a 1 year old who took 16 months to conceive.

I’m 29 and my hubs is 31. We know my husband has a fertility issue so we’re aware it could well be a long road ahead. Not that it makes TTC any more bearable. Every month is depressing when AF arrives!

Would love to share in the TWW with some others!

@Bailem thankyou x

Kirstyddd · 12/04/2023 12:01

@TTCing first time I’m using them and with the app’s predicting I should ovulate in 2 day I just don’t really no where they should be

@Stillwinston thanks it’s still all new to me

TTC53 · 12/04/2023 12:07

@Kirstyddd here's some of mine. It got ever so slightly higher than my usual the day before and only one day of surge.

I took one just an hour or two after it and it was already back down so I think I caught it just in time! I reckon my.surge had actually occurred the evening before or during the night going by my standard ovulation migraine. Hope this helps a little

Thanks,
am I right in thinking when I hit peak it’s usually around 24 hrs after that I should ovulate / release an egg

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 17:02

@Kirstyddd yea but for some people they ovulate the day of peak (I think I’m one of those going by symptoms) as long as your are dtd in the days leading up to ovulation, the day of and a couple of days after you will have it covered x

Kirstyddd · 12/04/2023 18:21

I’m trying it both ways to be honest, I’m trying to dtd every other day currently then when my levels go up everyday for around a week

hope this gets us there

Ttcmumma · 12/04/2023 18:30

@Mummy1502 personal question but is that roughly when you dtd this time to successfully concieve? I thought I was really fertile with my first being an accident but I don't know we are as fertile as I thought lol. 1st month trying went with the flow, second month only managed 5 days before and day of ovulation as I was away from home in-between. This month managed 5,3,2 and 1 day before but nothing on the day/after ovulation. I know I'm not out yet but I'm convinced I am so planning for next month 😅 I guess similar to this month +on the day and day after ovulation also would be good?

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 19:07

@Kirstyddd good luck x

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 19:12

@Ttcmumma i didn’t track ovulation this month so I don’t know when I ovulated 😂 but I can post a pic of the days we dtd, this cycle started from 19th (numbers are now in brown as I’ve changed it to pregnancy mode) the days we dtd have the red hearts, in my previous cycles that I’ve tracked I normally ovulate around cycle day 11/12, my cycles are only short 22-24 days, I have a feeling I ovulated later this month though as I didn’t get a positive until at was a day late x

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 19:14

@Ttcmumma that should have said I normally ovulate cycle day 10/11 from previous tracked cycles x

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 19:15

@Ttcmumma meant to say didn’t get a positive until af was a day late 😂 x

Ttcmumma · 12/04/2023 19:22

@Mummy1502 thank you for sharing!! It tooks like if you ovulated as usual or even slightly late you likely covered before during and after. I really never knew TTC is so exhausting 😅.
Also wondering if you not tracking and being abit more relaxed helped 🤔. They say it does! Last year I tried for about 8 months and fell pregnant the month I gave up. We dtd only twice the whole month 🤣. But glad to see you done it quite alot and conceived so shouldn't be a problem 'overdoing' it just incase lol

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 19:33

@Ttcmumma yea that’s what we did I was so heartbroken from the chemical then the cycle after af arrived on Mother’s Day so I was mentally drained and cried so much all the time we just said stop testing and chill, I felt much happier straight away, it really did help, I really thought I was out this month when I didn’t have a line in the days before af was due, was shocked to see a line yesterday which was the day after af was due! Then today to already have a digi positive, I’m so nervous now but excited, I just hope it sticks x

Ttcmumma · 12/04/2023 19:47

@Mummy1502 those first periods after a loss are so hard! Especially yours falling on mother's Day. I'm so sorry to hear your journey was rough but hoping with everything that the pregnancy is now a much smoother and healthy journey for both you and baby 😊.
I won't lie I've been a bit of a mental case since my MMC at 14 weeks in January. I'm obsessed with being pregnant again it's probably not healthy. Forcing myself to calm down this time if af does arrive. Unless I'm like you and get surprised after af due date!

Getting pregnant with my nearly 5 year old I didn't know a thing about ovulation, timing, bbt anything. We just decided we were comfortable enough in our relationship to stop using protection but not necessarily planning for a baby and he was conceived shortly after that! Partner was shocked to say the least 🤣.

Stillwinston · 12/04/2023 20:01

When we fell pregnant last August we were having a month off trying so I think being relaxed is definitely the way - though I've been insane ever since! Everyone says you're way more fertile for 3 months after a miscarriage so I'm finding myself getting more and more uptight about it as the months go on 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Ttcmumma will keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞❤️

Ttcmumma · 12/04/2023 20:10

@Stillwinston yeah I've heard that 3 month thing and this is my 3rd cycle since miscarriage so as you could imagine, been crazy lol. Also last cycle to have a baby before Christmas since my son was so excited about sharing next Christmas with a sibling. I'm hoping that if I don't get my way and af arrives in the next few days then maybe I can chill as I will have less of a 'deadline' on myself with the 3 months being up and no chance of 2023 baby! Already calculated if af arrives on Friday when due, next cycle would make a baby due well into January 2024... Am I insane? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you! 🤞🏻For you too ♥️

Mummy1502 · 13/04/2023 06:12

@Ttcmumma yea it’s so hard ttc but I defo think the more relaxed approach helps, I really hope this is your month x

Amber125 · 13/04/2023 07:52

My tests are getting lighter and my symptoms are disappearing! Should I be worried? This was my test from a few days ago vs the one this morning with fmu that’s 100% noticeably lighter :(

@Amber125 how far gone are you? X

Amber125 · 13/04/2023 08:00

@Mummy1502 I’m 5 weeks tomorrow going by the nhs website due date calculator thing. I got my first positive last Monday the 3rd then they were getting darker but I’ve noticed today and yesterday the test line has definitely got lighter and I don’t even ‘feel’ pregnant anymore.. :( I’ve never had a chemical or a miscarriage so not sure if this is what’s going to happen but im just thinking the worst now!

Mummy1502 · 13/04/2023 08:04

@Amber125 try not to panic, I know it’s hard, I’ve been through a chemical but tests never even got dark so I can’t comment on that, they stayed faint and never even tested positive on a digital, to me it looks like the test is maybe a bit faulty? The colour isn’t running the whole way through but looks dark on the top and bottom, can you do another? I think it’s normal for symptoms to come and go in the early stages, I have seen a few people say that and been fine x

Kirstyddd · 13/04/2023 08:31

@Stillwinston my test are dropping to the point they can’t be detected, is this normal, I was expecting them to go up not down
