Hi ladies, who would like to join a TWW thread. My ovulation date is today or tomorrow ❤️

Month 9 TTC baby number 2.

I have a 1 year old who took 16 months to conceive.

I’m 29 and my hubs is 31. We know my husband has a fertility issue so we’re aware it could well be a long road ahead. Not that it makes TTC any more bearable. Every month is depressing when AF arrives!

Would love to share in the TWW with some others!

A weird one for you all... At the end of last week, so from around 8dpo I suddenly had montgomery tubercles... I hadn't shared this symptom yet as firstly I didn't know what it was called and secondly I kind of assumed it was breast cancer and was too scared to admit it. I just now found the name of it on Google and it can actually be a sign of pregnancy.

Has anyone ever experienced this before a bfp? Or even after a miscarriage? I miscarried at 14 weeks in January so wondering if my body is still doing some 'pregnant' things which I doubt it as my hormones have been checked and are fine along with my cycles being back to normal for 2 cycles now... I'm currently 11dpo and still getting negatives. Intrigued if anyone else have ever experienced it.

Google montgomery tubercles if you've never heard of it (I hadn't until just now!!) And it's almost exactly what my areolas currently look like 😅

Huge congratulations @Mummy1502. So pleased for you and glad that you were able to get hold of a FRER to help confirm.

@TTCing I hope that you are being kind to yourself.

AF due tomorrow but I don't think I'll test for a few more days yet if it doesn't arrive. It trolled me last cycle and was two days late

TTC53 · 11/04/2023 15:55

@Ttcmumma I've never heard of that term and after having a quick peek at mine I also have a few too. Although come to think of it I believe having a couple is normal for me.

Sorry to hear of your miscarriage. What dpo did you get your bfp then? Could it still be too early this cycle for a positive?

NoodleQueen90 · 11/04/2023 16:06

@Ttcmumma I didn't know that they were called that but I do have these sometimes as part of my normal cycle...the day before my BFP (vvfl @ 9DPO) they seemed to get a bit more obvious and whiter looking than usual along with sore boobs.

Ttcmumma · 11/04/2023 16:11

@ttc53 thank you for your response! Yes I do believe they are normal to have but that day they got very exaggerated😅 I woke up and was just thinking 'where did these come from and why are they so big?!' I mean nothing repulsive haha but in comparison to the day before even I had gained so many and they were larger than usual.

Thank you! I didn't track quite as intensely then but believe it was 4 days before my AF was due so around yesterday/today in equivalence to this cycle but I actually hope when I do get a bfp it is different timings to that pregnancy as it may freak me out if it follows a similar pattern lol. My one successful pregnancy in 2017/18 was a happy accident (easier days 🙄) so I found out also by accident when I was one day late due to being in hospital. Also never noticed these Montgomery tubercles his whole pregnancy hence them being new and a reason for me to Google like crazy haha

Ttcmumma · 11/04/2023 16:12

@NoodleQueen90 oh thank you! Interesting to know. I've never noticed an increase in amount or size as part of my cycles before. Could just be a new thing! Will have to see if I get the bfp or if it's just a new thing going on for me 😅

Stillwinston · 11/04/2023 16:13

@Mummy1502 massive congratulations 🎉😀 so happy for you x

Stillwinston · 11/04/2023 16:15

@Ttcmumma I've also always had these - if you've never noticed them before then hopefully that's a good sign for you 🤞😊

NoodleQueen90 · 11/04/2023 17:16

@Ttcmumma keeping everything crossed for you! 🤞🏽

Mummy1502 · 11/04/2023 17:36

Thankyou ladies! Will update with fmu frer as still feeling cautious, praying for line progression but the tests I did today were 4th wee of the day and 5th wee of the day 😂 x

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 06:42

Congrats @Mummy1502 really hoping this is a healthy pregnancy for you!

I think I'm going to give up testing this month. Unless by some suprise my period doesn't arrive but I doubt it. 12dpo and even early detection tests are stark white, symptoms still seem to be there but cramping is more intense. Driving myself crazy at these white tests every morning!

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 08:00

@Ttcmumma Thankyou! You sound like me, all my tests were stark white (minus 1 indent then all negative after) until af was a day late, I had lots of cramping and thought af was going to make an appearance but it didn’t x

TTC53 · 12/04/2023 08:05

Hi @Kirstyddd, why are you concerned about your results? I'd say perfectly normal if you have a 28 ish day cycle. Mine personally only get darker the evening before the actual surge.

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 08:48

Smu gave me a clearer line and tried to get better lighting so you can all see the pink x

@TTCing thankyou! Im shocked x

Stillwinston · 12/04/2023 09:44

There's no denying that line @Mummy1502, congratulations 🎉😊

Stillwinston · 12/04/2023 09:46

@Kirstyddd you're still pretty early in your cycle so I wouldn't expect a peak at this point necessarily - try not to worry as stress can do funny things when TTC 😊 x

Stillwinston · 12/04/2023 09:48

@Ttcmumma you're definitely not out yet! Will keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞 x

Mummy1502 · 12/04/2023 10:17

@Stillwinston thankyou x
