3DPO in the two week wait - anyone else?

Hi Everyone,

I am currently 3DPO and beginning the agonising 2ww period.

this is the first month I managed to actually catch my peak on OPK’s which I think it making it all the more agonising.

i’m not holding out much hope, myself and my husband have been trying for around 9 months, but this month is the first time I’ve got more of an idea of when I ovulated which I think is making things worse.

I’m already reading into anything weird that is happening with my body, and would really appreciate the company during the next 2 weeks.

@kalixxx why is everything so scary 😂 it is really interesting but then I start to worry that if I do get a BFP later will it end in a miscarriage or a chemical.

I want it so bad. But it seems so scary doesn’t it!

@SophT27 that was my exact take from it as well 😩😂 need to try and relax about the whole thing, easier said than done though isn’t it 😅

@kalixxx we do. Stressing isn’t going to help is it. It really is a case of what will be, will be, but I can’t help feeling that I am out for this month. There are only so many negative tests you can look at aren’t there.

will you be testing again tomorrow?

@SophT27 I’m the same, I have this gut feeling that this isn’t my cycle!

I’d like to say no I won’t but as I have a test spare I know I’ll cave as soon as I wake up 😅 my OH always tells me not to test early (I should listen really 😂) so I won’t test over the weekend and I’ll be back at it on Monday! I’ll be 13 DPO (I think) by then so if that’s a BFN I’ll take it as this isn’t my month.

@kalixxx same 😂 I’ll be 12 DPO tomorrow so even though I should wait until Sunday when AF is due, I will probably test tomorrow because I have a spare test in the cupboard.

I don’t tell my DH I’m testing early (or at all) I won’t tell him unless I get a BFP. I usually just tell him when AF arrives and that is enough.

I want this so badly, but I am so convinced that this isn’t my month now.

@SophT27 I’m the exact same, no point in making 2 of us disappointed and getting the I told you it’s not a good idea testing early speech 😅😂

I’m feeling pretty much normal, boobs are begging to hurt a little but that’s normal. Kind of glad nothing is happening or I’d be symptom spotting! How are you feeling?

@kalixxx I felt awful at the start of the week - really nauseous and tired. I’ve still felt tired today, but not so sick. I have had some cramps, it’s why I’m so sure AF is on its way. My boobs feel heavy and I’ve noticed today they look quite veiny, but that might be a sign of AF too.

I was convinced at the start of the week that this was our month. But now I really don’t think it is.

I had a chemical last June, which came as a surprise, and we have been trying since then but with no luck. How about you?

I have just tested with FMU and it’s a BFN at 12DPO. I really do think that’s me out for this month. I just want AF to come now so I know for sure and can get on with things.

@SophT27 it’s so awful when your body plays tricks on you and leaves you feeling like you must be pregnant! Last cycle my nipples were so sensitive and painful which has never happened so I was convinced 🙄

This is cycle 3 for me so I’m trying to be optimistic it’s still early days but like you say I just want it to happen so bad.

Ah sorry to hear you had a BFN ☹️ Are you sure you’re 12 DPO? There’s definitely still every chance until AF arrives, keeping everything crossed for you!

I tested again this morning and it’s a stark white negative ☹️ I won’t test again till Monday but I’m the same, real gut feeling it won’t be this cycle!

I retested and it looks like yesterday, would've thought it would get darker by now but alas not yet. AF due today so I'll most likely test again over the weekend until AF arrives.

I feel ya, wish there would be like a button you can hit once the BFN arrives so AF comes instantly after rather than having to wait and wait.

If it's BFN for me too this weekend we'll do the TWW again next time ✌🏼✨

Yeah it's quite heartbreaking isn't it 🥺

I still have a banging headache, flu like symptoms, super sore nipples (had to wear a sports bra in the shower) and bloated/gassy.

I haven't given up all hope yet because I have PCOS and I know my cycles aren't always that regular and I can't trust the app 100% but still...I feel a bit deflated I can't lie 😑✨

@TheBirdintheCave your symptoms seem so positive. I wouldn’t lose hope yet.

I 100% have period cramps today. I’m sure that of AF doesn’t appear today, it will tomorrow.

@TheBirdintheCave @kalixxx I’m out. I’m spotting now and AF is definitely on the way.

I think I’m getting some light cramping and did this morning as well but that’s pretty normal for me around this time so not looking into it 🙄

To make matters worse, I’ve just had a text from a friend to say she is pregnant. I’m so happy for her, but it feels like a kick in the teeth.

😩😩😩 It's hard to hear that in the midst of TTC but when I get those news I keep telling myself the world isn't going to run out of babies and my time will come.

Do any of you ovulate early.I'm currently on cd 7 and have a lot of ewcm and open cervix. I heard conception rate is low as the egg is not mature yet.
