Hi anyone else in the dreaded waiting weeks?

Im having a crazy cycle this month so I think I’m 6 DPO but could be 2 DPO as I had 2 LH surges on my Premom OPKs. Trying to not get my hopes up!

Symptoms: back ache, lower belly cramps with aching around upper thighs, sore and full breasts, fatigue.

Not due AF till next Sunday so I have a wait to go!

I will join in please. I am 3DPO according to premom app and it's going very slowly. Had a very short peak this month and ovulated about 2 to 3 days earlier than last month. Have had some lower stomach cramps but put them down to end of ovulation as too early I think for anything else yet. Fingers crossed for us both

I will join too please! I am currently 1 DPO and I can't believe how much I underestimated the TWW, I'm 1 day in and already feeling impatient! Really makes me admire those who have had to endure the TWW many times, such strong people🙇🏽‍♀️ anyways, we are TTC baby #1 and I have a 33 day cycle with a positive OPK on CD17. Do you have any children so far & have you been TTC for long?😊 hope you both get BFP's very soon

@KIWI2023 I have one child already she is almost 3 and in conceived her on my 3rd cycle. This is my 3rd cycle TTC #2. We are similar days, I have my peak CD12 so app says ovulated on CD13 which is a bit early for me. Currently CD16.

First month we have tried SMEP so hoping it's worked. It seems to have been successful for others. Fingers crossed.

Your first cycle TTC is always odd as after years of trying not to get pregnant you suddenly can't stop thinking about it

Aw that's amazing that you have a little one already! I bet you can't wait to see her become a sibling! That's what my dreams are made of!

Fingers crossed for you that it's 3rd time lucky again!! I have only just heard about SMEP so now kicking myself that I didn't know this from CD1. I thought I was completely prepared with my OPK and BBT but I know I'll be frustrated I didn't research everything before if this isn't my month (even though I know it's actually not common to catch on cycle 1 at all😖)

That's so right! The shift from avoiding unprotected sex to trying was such a big change! I actually felt like a disobedient teenager our first time DTD haha!

I also ovulated 3 days earlier according to my Premom OPKs but then I seemed to have another surge so hoping I didn’t miss my fertile days as we also tried SMEP this month. Really got my hopes up that this may be our month!

I have a little boy who will be 3 soon and we have been trying for several months but honestly get tired after trying for a few days and then have stopped so this is the first month we really went for it! Took 3 months to get pregnant first time but I have significant endometriosis that has got a lot worse and so if I got pregnant naturally again it would be a miracle!

Yes will be lovely to see her with a sibling.

@KIWI2023 I only found out about SMEP a few weeks ago. I didn't know about it when I was TTC my first. You seem very prepared. I didn't start the OPKs until month 2 this time.

@Tophy124 sorry to hear about the endometriosis. I have some spotting on the days leading to AF. Not every time and sometimes hardly anything but I did not have that before I had DC1. Bit worried being older this time will make it harder as well but fingers crossed.

I feel like I’m going crazy!!! Symptom spotting is the worst. Each month I promise myself I won’t do it.

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 Im also getting spotting since I turned 30! How bizarre. It’s new for me too.

Can I join in too pls?!

I was pregnant from Jan-March (8-9 weeks) but sadly lost the baby at the beginning of this month, just due ovulation tomorrow and beginning the TWW....

We caught on the first cycle when we started and I'm not sure how long it's going to take this time

I've heard of a lot of people getting pregnant right after a loss so we shall see.... how is everyone doing?

Hi @suz2285 ! So sorry about your loss. I’ve heard the same about it being easier to get pregnant after a loss and a close friend just had a miscarriage and was told the same by the hospital Drs.

My boobs are still really sore, but I don’t ‘feel’ pregnant. Resisted the temptation to buy any pregnancy tests when shopping today and am going to try really hard to wait for AF.

Hello lovely ladies,

Sorry I was MIA, I accidentally muted notifications so just thought the thread had gone quiet.

SMEP sounds so promising @Tophy124. Sorry to hear about your endometriosis, I hear it is very painful so my heart really goes out to you!
Fingers crossed you get your little miracle and a lovely BFP very soon!!

@Emmamoo89 how are you feeling today? Hope you've not had any more pains and that it was implantation ✨✨

Hello @suz2285 welcome to the thread!
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It's really heartbreaking and I know nothing we can say here will help but if you want to talk or vent we are here for you.
I hope the TWW flies by for you and you get a BFP very soon!

I WFH full time and have found that all I can think of right now is to do with TTC, almost like it's taking up every brain cell I have. It's only cycle 1 for us so I'm hoping it's just because I have a lot of info to absorb and lots to learn this month and it will get easier with time (wishful thinking). I had to get out today to try and take my mind off it which actually worked and 2DPO flew by.

How are you all doing? X

Thanks all

@KIWI2023 thanks, I'm good tho, it was a shock and I didn't think I'd want to try again so soon but getting older and just wanted to get started again! When I had my scan to check after the MC they said I was getting ready to ovulate again so I thought I couldn't waste it incase it would be the one 😂 so we just started trying again!

I was exactly like that when TTC and first trimester I couldn't think of anything else and was so hard to work! I'm hoping next time won't be so distracting but I'm sure it will be!!

@Tophy124 the nurses at my scan basically said to just crack on and try again so I guess that's doctors orders 😆 sore boobs was my first symptom last time but you just never know until you get that BFP!

I've read SMEP a couple of times, worked for me last time so fingers crossed again...

@suz2285 I always get sore boobs with PMS time, but this seems really early even for me! I’m feeling sick and really tired today too. I’m 8 DPO today and hoping time goes fast!

@Emmamoo89 have you been using OPKs or are you estimating for ovulation date? Oooh I really feel for you with the vivid dreams, I rarely have dreams but do occasionally have nightmares and it is horrid. I hope you have a better night tonight lovely and fingers crossed it's just your body preparing for ovulation (make sure you stay away from cheese before bed😅) x

sorry to jump on but has in need for desperate advice !!! anyone had experience with horrible first response Evaps?
I really worried whether I’ve got a nasty evap on my hands or I’m having a chemical or ectopic!

Just can’t wrap my head around it, my last period was 24th January, dtd with partner on the 11th of February and 25th feb only, had continuously bfn after bfn, then had evap or faint bfp on frer on 3rd March (will upload first vfl) , after continued to get bfn , doctors tested bfn on Monday 6th March, period started 7th March, this result yesterday which is stronger than the last possible test , doesn’t make any sense 😭😭 now I’ve done clear blue and clear blue digital is bfn, please has anyone had this???

@Emmamoo89 well in that case I'm going to manifest that it is very good news and it's your time✨🤞🏽 I think all of this does make you hyper aware of every twinge, I don't usually feel any ovulation pain or anything like that but this month I could genuinely feel my ovaries 😂 I'm all good thank you! I feel so grateful to have you all to talk to as otherwise this would be something so lonely to experience. DH asked if I was on a rude chat room earlier and I said nooooo it's Mumsnet and he said he wishes there was something like this for men on the other side of TTC.
Do you have an idea of when you'll test this month? There's a lot of conflicting opinions on here by the looks of it as some people test from 9dpo where as other seem to wait until AF is late. With it being Cycle 1 I'm thinking I'll try to hold out as long as possible but just wanted abit of advice if you have any😊 x

Thank you! Yeah it certainly does. Haha 😅 i sometimes feel ovulation but sometimes don't. Good good. Yeah same here. It's a good distraction too. I may test 9/10dpo ill keep this thread updated. I normally wait for AF to be late but got a smear booked on Thursday so rather know early but I've seen people still get smear early pregnancy but some don't allow it so I'll just ask. But in my opinion its best to wait for AF to be late less disappointing 😊 x
