Hi all! As the title suggests, I have set this up as a space for those of us who are TTC and in that long wait between ovulation and when AF is due!
So, to kick us off... I have been TTC #2 since November. Had one chemical in that time and now well into the TWW with AF due on Tuesday! After spending a lot of money on early tests / having the disappointment of a chemical I am now avoiding early testing and will instead wait until AF is late, but zero judgement on anyone who likes to test early - I totally get the urge!

I am still waiting for a bloody positive OPK! I’m on day 14 of my cycle and I usually ovulate today but my lines are still faint! Does anyone else’s ovulation day move round a bit?

I never got a positive OPK all cycle. I hate them! Did you get anything that was a bit darker than faint a couple days ago in case you missed the peak?

Nope, the pic was yesterday’s and this mornings’s was slightly darker. I think it will be darker tonight, will check. Fingers crossed! X

Guys I my at still hasn’t arrive pre mom now says I’m 2 days late, all my tests have been coming back BFN, I’m so confused

9dpo weed just now. Annoyed I didn’t save my wee to do a digital but I was so convinced nothing would come up. Will do another cheapie in the morning and if it’s still there I’ll do a digital. DH won’t accept a positive unless it’s in word format 😂

I am guessing I’ll have my peak in the morning? Line has been read a little fainter tonight, prob as my urine has been diluted

@BabyShackDoo that’s looking great. Even if you find it doesn't fully peak this morning I’d take that as a surge and go for it considering it’s the right time of the month!

What do you think Sasha? Here’s when we had sex and here’s this morning’s OPK. We’ll try again tonight but my husband struggles to come if we do it every night. Last night it was after midnight when we did it, that’s why it’s been recorded as today. Not sure if we have spaced things out too much.

@BabyShackDoo I’d definitely have sex today but I’d also try tomorrow if your partner could manage. They say ovulation could occur 12-36 hours after so although you’re likely to ov today you definitely could tomorrow? Do you usually get any signs like twinges in one side? Good luck x

I just wish there was a way to help him come… it just doesn’t happen. There’s nothing I can do, is there? Sorry, I’m talking way too openly and sharing too much info x

@sashastuck thank you! It’s my second, my DD is 20mo and then I had a miscarriage a couple of months ago.

@buckingmad sorry to hear about your miscarriage 💐I hope this pregnancy is a dream for you full of joy! And what a lovely age gap too!

@BabyShackDoo isn’t that what mumsnet is for 😂is there a certain position that he can finish in easiest? Or could he masturbate and finish in you? Not the most romantic but we did do that once when he was struggling. It’s so rough on them but will be worth it in the end! Alternatively next cycle if you didn’t get pregnant this cycle, could you try sex every other day from say day 10 to try and catch the egg regardless of opk? X

@buckingmad congratulations, I did post above but you weren’t tagged! I had a miscarriage in December so desperately trying for our rainbow baby. I’m 40 so think it’s making things harder. I have a 2.5 year old x

Hi all, I feel disappointed today. I ovulated later this month than the last three cycles. So we BD’d as though I’d ovulate day 14, but I had my peak yesterday, which was day 16. So I’m ovulating today on day 17.

We BD’d on days 10, 12 and 15 (it was just past midnight on day 14 so classed it as day 15 instead of 14). We tried last night but my husband just had nothing left. Are we too late trying tonight? Will my egg have gone?

I had cramps around 8pm last night, so not sure if that’s the egg released or not? I think I’m out already this month 😔

And if we can do it tonight, it’ll be around 9pm

@GemLou88 good thank you! I got my 3+ on a clearblue so feeling a bitter for seeing some progression in black and white. I’ve self referred for the midwife and booked an early scan for in about 3 weeks time. Symptom wise just tired and feeling a bit off.
