Hi all! As the title suggests, I have set this up as a space for those of us who are TTC and in that long wait between ovulation and when AF is due!
So, to kick us off... I have been TTC #2 since November. Had one chemical in that time and now well into the TWW with AF due on Tuesday! After spending a lot of money on early tests / having the disappointment of a chemical I am now avoiding early testing and will instead wait until AF is late, but zero judgement on anyone who likes to test early - I totally get the urge!

yeah it’s a crap feeling once you see the BFN, also can’t help but feel like I’m already out, but I also know that it’s a little early to test.
been feeling a little off today, horrible head ‘fog’ and generally tired. Fingers crossed for us both xx

I’m also 8dpo. Have managed to hold off on testing so far but mainly because I only have one FRER and don’t want to waste it on a BFN if I can avoid it. I’m starting to get heartburn at random intervals which only normally happens when I’m pregnant, but not sure if that might by a symptom
of supplementing progesterone 🤷‍♀️

@DogsInSocks20 i just took any test to see where I am there, nothing major at the minutes so we will just see

Um… would an implantation dip drop below the cover line? Funny enough I had a dream that my BBT sky-rocketed and woke to this almighty dip !

Negative test this morning, but by my calculation my period should have started today. Still feel nauseous and having mental dreams. Have a phone call with GP today, as I definitely don’t feel right. All the bleeding has stopped completely and didn’t get any heavier, after a few bits of bright red. Going to get a First Response today from Boots just in case my cheapies aren’t sensitive enough. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@sashastuck thank you, I've always been confused about how long I am 'good' for after it says ovulating so thanks so much.
3dpo. Hoping this time could be it.
Dr said best to DTD every 2 days throughout the whole month, and leave a day between so sperm better. Feels confusing as we have always concentrated on fertile days (have a toddler and exhausted so every 2 days sounds impossible!)

Is it possible I could implant at Dpo 9 very very odd. Stabbing pains this morning

@Kirstyddd yes! Think average range is 6-10dpo.

@Pineappleapple ooh fingers crossed you caught the day! There’s a lot of conflicting info about DTD every 2 days or not. I personally try to do every 2 days from end of period, but every day for 4 days around ov time. Realistically though once I know I’ve ovulated we don’t do too much after 😂

I’m now around 5 dpo and have had a dull burning/ache in my pelvic area for the last 24 hours and a sharp stabbing pain in right side. Anyone experienced this before?

@Ted0503 yes both times I've had a positive test I've had that. But then I've also had it this month at only 3dpo which is way too early for implantation and I'm pretty sure my ovulation day is right cause of when I got my peak LH.

Someone please advise me about implantation dip if you’ve done BBT before, I made a thread but nobody replied 😂would you say this looks good or do you normally get a dip? I know there’s something about a second oestrogen surge?

@sashastuck it looks like it could be as it’s the right kind of time and encouraging that it’s gone back up. But a lot of people implant and don’t have the dip. I’ve got a very similar dip on my chart but at only 3dpo which is way too early for implanting.

not sure if anyone can help here… I have a gynae appt in May where they’ll do tests and things to check me out. I’m 40 and struggling to get pregnant. My fertile window starts near this weekend. Will any tests affect me during my 2 week wait?

Thanks @GemLou88 , I think it’ll just be a chat and booking me in for blood tests and other tests. I’m currently in my fertile window so the tww will be here again for me starting next week 😩. How are you doing? Hope everyone is OK x

@GemLou88 how are you? I have a good feeling this month, going to test tomorrow. My chart has stayed high after the possible implantation dip, crampy today, spotty (not common for me) and RHR raised by 2 today at 11dpo! Of course this could all be nothing but lots of good signs. Are you in your fertile window now? X

@sashastuck did you have any symptoms or do anything different this cycle?

@GemLou88 yes actually! My symptoms were a spotty face on the day of my implantation dip (plus a couple more spots throughout the week), cramping after orgasm at 10dpo which I had NO idea was a symptom until I randomly saw someone else say it on mumsnet! And the past 2 days I’ve had a couple of random period-like cramps throughout the day. I also track my RHR and the past couple of days it’s been jumping up by 2 each day. My BBT temps have been the same for the past 4 days so don’t worry about seeing a constant increase.

I saw some tips that I added this cycle to aid implantation - pomegranate juice from 1dpo to 5dpo, Brazil nuts every day, pineapple core from 1dpo to 5dpo, and keeping my feet warm! We also tried Preseed but I didn’t love it.

Of course it could have been none of that. But worth a try I guess ❤
